The way Via does surge pricing, it's almost as bad as Uber and Lyft, but it can't even drop me off at my door. It doesn't offer ANY discounts, or special deals. I've noticed that often the single ri... See more

Yay VIA!
I always have a great experience with VIA!
Love the prices from downtown Manhattan to Brooklyn! Drivers are lovely most of the time. Keep up the good work!
best ride prices around but drivers often don't pick up phone calls:(
best ride prices around but i wish ALL drivers would call back or answer their phones if there are pick up problems. :(

Just started using Via a few weeks ago. I have been mostly using their pool service. Overall it has been really good to use! Sometimes the pickup and drop off points do not make sense though.
I cannot use the app
I cannot use the app. The customer service is terrible and not helpful.
Great service.
My biggest criticisms of Via for shared rides:
(1) the app will indicate a drop off location a block or more away from my destination when the driver is actually going in that direction or actually passing my destination but the app will leave me further away when there is an opportunity for the driver to leave me closer (i.e., I had a driver leave me on the corner of my destination, which is a long City block, when the driver was driving past my destination); and
(2) Via will fill personal vehicles to capacity (with riders) even when the capacity of certain vehicles make for a very uncomfortable ride.

not good for recognizing the exact…
Does not always recognize the exact current address, or changes the address to a different one. Otherwise, a very good and affordable option
Sometimes I'd have to wait long
Sometimes I'd have to wait long, but comparable to other car services it is still cheaper so waiting isn't a big deal
Always had excellent rides on Via
Best in NYC
In my experiences, best prices, routes, and wait times in NYC.

I always try Via before trying Lyft or Uber. There prices are the best and if I'm going within Manhattan. I also use to go to LaGuardia. Not as many vehicles on the road as with Lyft or Uber but it has rarely been a problem. Surprised more people in NY aren't using it. Had very few problems with them considering I use it so much.
Great company
