The way Via does surge pricing, it's almost as bad as Uber and Lyft, but it can't even drop me off at my door. It doesn't offer ANY discounts, or special deals. I've noticed that often the single ri... See more

Generally good but bad service last ride. I got canceled on. The next drivers time changed and actually got longer. I had to call to see what was going on. He was very brusque. Not friendly and the wait time ended up double originality posted.

Via is cheaper than Uber...BUT my big complaint is I hate walking a block or more to meet my ride when the car literally pass my house to get to the pick up spot........THAT IS BEYOND DUMB!!!!!

Sometimes hard to get ride and assigned cars don’t come
Nice drivers
Nice drivers, fare price, clan cars and air condition at the right level.

Love via but sometimes the time to wait is too long
very efficient
Efficient
Efficient, clean and affordable....hassle free car service in the NYC metro area.
Via has been good most of the time
Via has been good most of the time. What frustrates me is you set your pickup spot, and they change it to meet down the street.
Last week we were dropped off a 1 1/2 blocks away. We told the driver, this not where were supposed to be. He said Via does that sometimes. We were fine we walked the rest of the way, but if you had a bad knee of hip that would be an issue.
Great Value.

Most of my rides are with very respectful drivers and friendly. I love Via, reasonably priced and professional. Thank you.
Overall my favorite ride-share service in NYC.
Via drivers are always on time. App rarely crashes.
I’ve been lucky to have very friendly drivers.
The ride-share (up to 4 pax.) can really slow down on drop-off time but overall my Via experience have been very positive.
I hope the company can do something about the “congestion” charges, or reward the frequent-riders by waiving the charges once every so often.
Love via
Love via. Way easier and 10x faster than uberpool. Only complaint is that prices have been rising (doubling!!) over the past few months so I’ve been using it less due to increased costs. When it was cheaper, I was using it twice a day
Kind drivers
Great but entry to some Mercedes vans…
Great but entry to some Mercedes vans a problem for some. A small step stool carried in the trunk and used as needed could help.l

Sometimes You Get what You Pay for . . .
Over the last two weeks I noticed that drivers are not always at pick up point indicated on my app. In one case, driver appeared to have a pick up location almost a bock away from my location.
Also, something is going on with the charges. I also notice that I am occasionally charged between up to $2.00 more than the initial charge listed at booking.
While important to follow traffic rules, I had two drivers drive so slow ( e.g.slowing down mid block on a yellow) allowing every possible car to cut into lane that I almost left the car. This is New York. Drivers need to drive. There is a wide berth between reckless driving and getting me to my destination in a timely manner. Not advocating recklessness.
When every dollar matters, Via is the choice
I have Via, Lyft and Uber on my phone.
Via is always the cheapest of the 3.
Great service
I love Via. I always recommended to everyone. The prices are awesome and I never had a problem.
Good algorithmic ride sharing app
Good algorithmic ride sharing app. Falls short on a few subjects.
1) I’m assuming due to the race to become profitable the prices have surged 40% for some rides over the years. (Factoring in congestion charge)
2) rides are cheaper for frequent users it would seem.
3) app algorithm and driver text sometimes do not correspond.
