Exceptional customer service
Exceptional customer service. Although they might not find you a suitable housing because of the current demand in The Netherlands. They definitely help look in the right places. And aside from their main service, their customer service was exceptional. I had some problems which they quickly sorted out for me within the same business day of me contacting them. Yeah. Same as others. I got charged 39Euro for site which i didn't used after the day i paid my 1 euro.
This is not okay.
This is advantage of company that uses on viewers.
I just sent mail about it and we will see what they will react.
I am sorry but i want my money back. People don't earn money easily these days and i am not rich to give a site which i didn't used once.

I had to pay 6 times €39, for a subscription that I didn't sign up for, what a scam. I never received any email saying that I signed up for a premium account, and In the end, they told me I had 2 subscriptions for 3 months.

Customer Service is very helpful!
My recent experience at rentola was great! I had an ongoing subscription that I thought was cancelled but was not, on top of that since I am a student I was not able to pay for the month of december; especially thinking it was cancelled.
Abhinav helped me immensely by cancelling the subscription and also making an exception for me with not needing to pay for the month of december. He was very understanding and cooperative. I appreciated his help a lot!

They claim that, if you subscribe, you can contact the landlord... but the only thing they offer is a link to a different website (which is where I was litteraly already coming from anyway!) So to me it felt pretty useless.
The trial period only costs one euro - one euro I regret spending. Oh, and obviously, you can't cancel immediately. You need to wait 24 hours. What a surprise! They know that their shady business model could make people angry, then in my personal opinion they try to make people forget about it by including a forced wait time before canceling.
Guess what? I put SO MANY reminders on my calendar to cancel this trial that very much looks like a scam to me. I for sure haven’t forgotten about it. I cancelled exactly 24 hours later, just to get the notification “if u don’t receive a confirmation email that your subscription is cancelled you need to contact our support team.” GUESS WHAT, ofcourse i didn’t get a confirmation email, looks to me like they’re trying to scam me. I have sent 2 emails and am still waiting for their response to confirm my cancelled subscription. I have a lot of proof that i cancelled in time and contacted them.
UPDATE: they have replied to this review before actually replying to my mail. Shows where their priorities are at but everything is solved.

If you have emailed us, you will have received an automatic reply referring you to our questions and answers. If this doesn't help, there is a contact form to fill in to reach our customer service team, which we can see you did on Friday.
I can see that you first contacted us on Friday via our contact form and that you posted your review here before contacting us. We responded to your email on Friday and we are glad that we have been able to help you.
I can see that on Friday, the same day, we also requested your contact details via Trustpilot in order to contact you (less than 24 hours after you posted your review).

Dark pattern to get paid first month

Tried Rentola using their 7 day period. Unfortunately, couldn’t find it too useful. To top it up, they use the dark pattern of not reminding before starting your 39€ subscription. I now have a subscription I have no use for. They refuse to refund me. In the conversations with their support, it was clear that they were dodging the dark pattern.
