Absolute awful service. 90% of its tenants with its contacts are fake number, at least for me in Singapore.

Never again

I used Rentify a few years ago and, from what I can see, the service has not improved.

The company promotes itself as a modern letting agency, but as a landlord I had little visibility of what was happening with my property. Communication was poor and customer service was almost non-existent.

The biggest issue was that, when the first tenancy ended, they arranged a new tenancy without consulting me or asking for my approval of the new tenants. I found this completely unacceptable.

If you need help, you cannot simply speak to someone. You have to submit an online ticket and then wait, often with no response at all.

I would never use Rentify again and would not recommend them to other landlords. There are far better letting agents who provide proper communication and keep landlords informed.

Something is dreadfully wrong with Rentify.com. I suspect that it belongs to a room broker who helps to rent out utilities rooms of the HDB flats, which is not legal in Singapore.

Thread carefully - could be unlicensed agent. It has blocked me for no reason and I am using a new mobile phone number.

Scam Website!!!!!!!!

Scam Website!!!!!

I was charged 499 SEK every month for four months!!!!!! You do not get any notice when they charge you.

I only got emails from rentify.se when I registering an account at their website, and then they just silently charge SEk 499 per month! Do pay attention to your credit card statement!

Note: In Sweden, it is very difficult to rental apartment, that's why they abuse those who are looking for an apartment.

In Sweden, it is also common that website asks for mobilebank ID information when you create an account. That is why when asked for credit card information I gave them.

And how I get to this website?

Facebook Marketplace, rental apartment, and then they direct you to rentify.se

So many scams online nowadays!!!! I will contact my bank and see if they can do anything. I'm not sure.

May the liars suffer. May people create rentify.se get what they deserve.

Beware they are illegally charging in Sweden 499 sek without any reason, they ask 50 sek to check your account and then charge illegally 499 sek without warning. I don't understand how they can still be doing that without any legal constraint, it is unacceptable.

Rentify used Crowdcube to take £1.38m off 501 investors. Founder George Spencer has now scarpered leaving debts of over £1m and according to Begbies they are chasing him for misplacing cash amongst other things. We spoke to him before it all went to pot and it was clear he was a crook. He needs to be found and jailed. His backers Balderton should pay the millions owed. We have written about him on ECF.Buzz

Unpaid council tax

I've just discovered that after collecting my Council Tax under the premise they would pay it to the council, Rentify haven't done so since May of 2021, leaving me with a huge bill.

As the account was set up by them under my name, I'm liable for the bill and it's not an inconsequential amount.

Now that they've gone into administration, the likelihood of getting that back is virtually zero

I dread to think how many other people will have been affected

Nick O'Reilly is a f#c1ng Scammer.

Hello all,
I don't really like to do this but in this case I think is necessary.
We got the worst experience ever with a company. Everything from the beginning was shady.

First thing that we do when we call any agency or landlord is ask if they are pets allows as is a family member and CHARLOTTE was our first contact, obviously she said yes and we continued with the process.

At the beginning with meet CHARLOTTE who kindly showed us the property. The house was dirty and quite understandable as the previous tenants were there still. A few other things were not working and it was a deck in horrible conditions. Charlotte promise that everything will be sorted as soon as the previous tenants leave the property.
We meet LAURA who gave us the keys and the inventory. The house was totally disgusting, everything dirty, just to give an idea we found even sexual toys (sorry about this) the house was full of rubbish. my boyfriend step on the desk and his foot passed throughout the wood as it was completely rotten.
We received the keys (Our mistake as we should not until the house was in acceptable sanitary condition).

We sent an email with the problems that we found.
-Cleaners to be arrange.
-Rotten deck.
-Bulb light.
-Fridge not working.
-Inventory list as we never received and it was A LOT of thing from the landlord.
-Water, gas and electricity meter.
-Information of where to place the rubbish.
The answer was delayed day by day, it seems like the where playing with our time, not showing respect at all. Before they received our money everyone was answering super fast, as soon as we paid everything changed.
We were without hot water around two weeks, and not successful answers.
Our property manager was ALICE who was all the time in holiday (it was her excuse) not answering the emails and either her extension (it was not working she said).
We sent A LOT of emails not having any answers and dealing with too many problems in that property.
We got different emails by the time ALICE was on holiday from KAJAL and finally from Rentify Manager NICK O'REILLY who said that he will help and also added that Alice was one the best property manager from Rentify, then we got an idea of what we were dealing with.

The neighbors were complaining because they have a leak in their house coming from our rented property and they explained that they were contanting the agency to solve that problem not having any answer. They also said that the landlady is their friend and she was trying to contact the agency without a helpful answer about the problems with her property.

Two months later Alice sent us an email saying that the Landlord wants us to leave the property as soon as possible because of our dog as she did not allow pets on her property.

The things were not even solved and we needed to leave the property. The agency told us to give us our money back as we paid 6 months in advance plus the deposit.

They paid us our spear money but they did not contact or answer anything to the DPS and we needed because both parts (agency and tenants) needs to be agree.

We leave the property in october and after a legal process with DPS involving lawyers finally we received our deposit 4 months later.

We still have the proof of everything that I am saying and more.

The worst experience is with incapable people who play with your time, are not respectful at all, and who like to act at their own convenience.

Fraud

Deposit not returned and no communication! My tenant is leaving tomorrow and, despite informing Rentify that they need to reimburse my tenant in a few weeks ago, I have STILL, after several requests, heard nothing from them. Surely, not returning a deposit amounts to fraud. I intend to take legal action. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have heard that Rentify is imminently about to go into administration. Despite a letter saying they are not continuing with their residential lettings they continue to send my tenant reminders that they will be collecting rent in January. Absolutely no communication from them. Please ask your tenants not to send them any more money

money stealing incompetent fools

money stealing incompetent fools

Months after we've moved out, Rentify are STILL trying to take money from our accounts through the direct debit set up during the tenancy. They try 4 times a day, twice in the morning, twice in the evening, even on weekends.

All emails to chase and request them to stop this direct debit are ignored and no one responds to the "fix this" complaint email.

I'm surprised this company hasn't gone bankrupt yet with all this illegal activity going on - charging people money they don't owe, and I've read they don't pay landlords what they owe either.

Pathetic excuse for a company, one that's full of incompetent negligent fools who have no sense of organisation or time management.
