We cancelled part of our trip due to a death late 2024. We just received our refund mid March 2025. So yes, we did get our refund. However, it was almost impossible to speak with anyone with knowledge of the case. The people that answer the phone were very nice but could give no information and the person I would need to speak with was very seldom available. I got multiple emails requesting information I had already sent in. Perhaps they should be more specific what information they needed to begin with and check to see if they already had it. Got the feeling multiple people were working on the case and did not communicate with each other. I have never had to file an insurance claim like this so when the instructions are vague, it just causes confusion. Got the feeling they were dragging out the process to delay the payment as long as possible. I would not use this company again and hesitate using the condo rental company again since they recommend Red Sky in their information.

Worst communication from a company I have ever received. We provided several documents and had to continually follow up to get status. We then asked to have our claim escalated to a manager, which then took even longer to review. Eshuana was not helpful AT ALL. Terrible service!

The website was easy to navigate. It was easy to start my claim. And the decision was made very quickly. The person I communicated with (Sue) was great. She responded to all my questions very quickly and kept me in the loop on the status of my claim. I work for an insurance company in Canada so I know that customer service is very important. Arch Red Sky Insurance provided excellent customer service.

The process for filing the claim was clear and easy. The claim decision was made in a decent timeframe. Updates were provided with every status change so that I could keep track of where they were in the process. I initially was dreaming the claims process based on things I'd heard about travel insurance, etc. But I was very pleased with how this went.

I had a three week beach house vacation plan. My family and I stayed one week and then hurricane Helene hit. I am from North Carolina in a little county called Avery county. If you’ve watched the news, you know Avery county was hit really hard. We lost our house. Me and my two boys were at the beach together and my husband was back home. He FaceTime to show us the devastation so we went and gathered supplies and got home as soon as possible. I contacted red sky insurance to be paid for the two weeks that I paid for that I wasn’t gonna be staying. They paid for some of it, but not all of it. They paid me a little bit more than half of what was owed to me. I just feel like they just kept MY money because they wanted to. Why in the world would you not cover someone losing their house what they wanted me to continue my vacation and just stay at the beach. This insurance company is terrible. In my opinion. It was back-and-forth back-and-forth with them while we were picking up the pieces of our lives. It sounds like a pity party, but I’m going into detail about this just because I can’t believe how they did not cover All expenses for LOST of your HOUSE! I do Appreciate what they did give back to me though.

The process was relatively easy once we had our documentation in order. The adjustor was very nice and we communicated via email. We will definitely continue to use this agency for travel and insurance and very glad we purchased it!

Two months after Hurricane Helene flooded out our vacation, our refund check arrived. I had to make many calls and emails to get satisfaction from Red Sky. After filling out many forms, RedSky jolted us by erroneously saying our case was denied. It took emails and calls to the rental agency to get things straightened out. There was a lot of frustration before this case was settled.
