Dpd get parcel on 7th as i advised tje seller id not ne in 8th to collect parcel they refused to contact dpd to change address. 9th DPD failed to drliver to alternative address
10th after 24 emails you agree to request parcel back. Parcel still with DPD no one contact's them and as i rightly raised a payment dispute you wont refund me and email 5mins before you close and can no longer get help
Been told you have no complaint process and from the 76 email i have sent wotj 10 replies you have bo customer service skills Everyone avoid this seller

I ordered two vinyls from Recordstore – one in stock (The Animals – 60th Anniversary Edition) and one pre-order (The Cranberries MTV Unplugged). At checkout I paid extra for the “ship separately” option so the in-stock item would arrive straight away, with the pre-order to follow later.
When I chased up my order, customer service completely missed the point. I was given generic replies about the pre-order, even after I explained several times that I was asking about the in-stock vinyl I’d already paid additional postage to receive separately. Eventually, I was told I’d need to cancel and re-order it, which makes no sense given I’ve already paid for the service.
The issue is still unresolved — I’ve paid extra and still don’t have the instock item or have any idea when or if it will ever show up.
Customer service so far has been confusing and unhelpful. If someone from Recordstore could step in and actually resolve this, I’d really appreciate it.

Why give the option to ship separately if you cannot fulfil it. It also took about 10 emails before your agent even grasps the concept of my issue.

Very high shipping fee - extremely poor packaging!
Had to pay a shipping fee of £ 4.95, but received the cd singles packed in a superflimsy cardboard envelope. I will never buy here again and I recommend collectors strongly to buy elsewhere.

I regularly order from here and they dispatch orders lighting fast. If you select Tracked 24 shipping you usually get next day delivery. This latest order 2 of the items were damaged but customer services were quick to respond and resolved the issue efficiently. Would highly recommend.

Please get this sorted and then people can buy stuff from you.
2 stars because I still have hope that RS will one day accept that Royal Mail, DPD, DHL etc. all operate and have a service here.

Initially interested in limited edition of uprising by bob marley available to preorder . Saw a 10% off first order code so took advantage and ordered another half dozen vinyls. Including a different pre order.
When it came to shipping rather than spend £30+ to have it shipped out in multiple parts went for one drop on the release of the latter pre order release for £8.
Having already paid for my goods and whilst still awaiting the second release date (later next month) I receive an email to let me know that I have been issued a refund for my bob Marley pre order as it is no longer in stock. Surely this is the whole point of preordering in the first place.
Being very displeased by this asked for the entire order of £225 to be refunded. Sure no problem came the reply. Not an apology in sight. Won’t use again terrible.

Ordered two vinyl, one with a signed art card, on december 9th 2024. The signed vinyl was a preorder for march 28th 2025 but i opt for the ship together option.
The release date of the signed record rolls around and they haven’t sent the package yet. I then contact customer service a few days later asking about the order to where they inform me they don’t have the non-preorder in stock anymore but that they’d be able to split the order in two. Five weekdays later they finally ship my signed vinyl, and i get charged €25 in import tax upon arrival. Only two weekdays later they send the other vinyl resulting in me having to pay €25 import tax AGAIN… Great.
But that’s not even the worst part. When opening the record that was supposed to have a signed insert, there’s no signed insert to be found anywhere?! A signed vinyl that i’ve payed €85 total for (with shipping and import tax), just for it to not even have the signature that were the sole reason for me buying it in the first place.
Immediately contact customer service and all they could offer was a €5 euro refund, that won’t even cover the import tax.
I’ve seen other people online having the same issue with this specific release, only when ordering from recordstore.uk.
I’m so disappointed in the way they’re handling it considering it’s been a mistake on their behalf.

The Package arrived after only 4 days which is nearly nothing because it shipped from the uk to germany with no damage. In addition, I think the prices are fair

When making an order I realised the discount code I entered did not process for some reason, I made a second order and it worked fine that time. I wasn't sure what happened so I used the contact form for assistance and to try cancel the non-discounted order. Despite it being a late night purchase they dispatched both orders in the morning and then messaged just minutes after to say they couldn't be cancelled.
However, they did offer to provide a free return label as soon as I received both orders. It would be nice if they checked orders before responding to messages though.
Regardless, I received both orders in just a few days and of course returned one of them. The one I did keep however was mint and perfect as described, so no complaints.
One more suggestion I would like to bring up is for them to consider accepting PayPal, as this would make payments easier for me and surely many other people.
Good experience overall, lost a star due to the inconveniences, but will happily use again if I need to.
