Ordered late Thursday night and vinyl arrived Saturday morning, and this was with the cheapest delivery option, which is excellent.
It was really well packaged, much thicker and protective cardboard arrangement than Amazon.
Vinyl in perfect condition.
Similar price to Amazon.

OK, so I purchased an item through Record Store UK but didn’t read the reviews until after doing so.
I was anxious that I would receive what I ordered, or if the item was even in stock (the web site didn’t state either way).
I was delighted when I received a email notification the next day to confirm dispatch and was even happier when I received said item, two days after placing the order.
The item was well packaged so I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and the service. I will be spending more with them again soon.

Recordstore is by far the worst record shop that I have ever purchased records from. Its repeated incompetence is staggering. I’d urge all to avoid.
I placed a significant order. Soon after an opportunity arose for a holiday. I would be away for the original delivery date. I contacted Recordstore (as I did all of the other record shops, I had placed orders with for releases when I’d now be away). All of the shops were obliging, helpful and supportive. Not Recordstore.
It seemed to be wilfully obstructive.
When contacted to ask if they could delay postage till the first week in March (it was late November) I was told it wasn’t possible as the delivery information was now in the system. When I pointed out that delivery couldn’t be for several weeks (the release date wasn’t till 24th Jan), could the system information be changed I was told no. No other option, just no.
Later, that same day I wondered if Recordstore could change the delivery address and have the items delivered to a friend instead? This, apparently could be done.
I made an agreement, in writing, the items would be delivered to a friend.
As the release date approached (I was on holiday), I received a postage confirmation email from Recordstore informing me that the order would be posted to my address!?
I contacted Recordstore immediately and was faced with some of the most ludicrous and amateurish ‘customer service’.
Recordstore, it claims, couldn’t find the change of address confirmation – despite this information being in the same communication thread? Staff claimed they couldn’t see this information!? I replied using the same thread and reference number and included a screenshot of the agreed confirmation – which was further down the same communication thread. Nope. Recordstore still couldn’t see the address and then claim it couldn’t open screenshot images (images visible within the messages)? This all occurred over several days while I was on holiday.
The staff member insisted I complete a list of ‘name, address, email…’ despite this information being readily available within the same communication, had they bothered to scroll down. I had enough.
The items cannot be delivered so will be returned. I will ensure I receive a full refund as I have the trail of excremental ‘communication’ from Recordstore to support my claim.
I will never ever buy anything from Recordstore ever again.

As ever a company fails to resolve an issue with a customer directly but is quick to offer a 'solution' based on a review - despite being incapable of resolving the issues beforehand. The items will be returned by Royal Mail. I'll avoid the incompetent Recordstore from now on.

Great experience, their website is amazing and has so many records that i couldn’t find anywhere else that ships to my country and very good prices, fast delivery and arrived in good condition, absolutely happy with this purchase, i have another order on the way from them and i’ll order from them again

Similar to many others - ordered items that the website said were in stock (in fact 4 items in stock at the time, and still shows that 2 items are in stock at the time of writing). I placed my order and received a confirmation e-mail that the items would be packed and shipped within 48 hours.
Decided to chase up having had no updates after a week and managed to get through a rather unhelpful person named Zachary Green, who informed me that the items were not in stock and that they had no idea when the items were going to be received from their supplier. There is nothing good about this company - you can't trust the accuracy of the site, and you cannot expect good or decent service. My advice would be to stay away.
Cancelled my order and will be awaiting my refund (although it seems that the item is refunded, but no confirmation that the unused postage amount will be refunded also).

I'm happy to amend this review if they resolve my issue but so far my experience with this company has been appalling. Ordered an in-stock item 10 days ago and as far as I can see it has not even been shipped. Emailed them for an update 2 days ago and no response. If you can't even provide the most basic levels of customer support and fulfilment you shouldn't be operating online.

The best! I have bought from recordstore a few times and they're always fab value and reliable. I had a slight issue with a recent order (not their fault) and the customer service has been fantastic. I'll definitely be buying more from recordstore in the future.

They should really improve their packaging. I ordered three 7”, 2/3 came dented due to the very poor packaging.

First order I've made on the site. A special edition vinyl and a jacket that was meant for my special someone birthday gift purchased in advance... And I'm not going to be receiving any of them!
Waited for more than 15 days. I had to contact their support which informed me my package would be received today (lol) only for me to receive a letter requesting to pay for customs as my order got stuck there because they didnt provide sufficient info on the package. Absolutely brilliant!
They then didnt want to do anything about it and asked ME to take care of it and pay for the fees. I'm sorry but this should not be my responsibility when I paid for the shipping and taxes.
Asked for a refund. This was my first and last purchase with RS. My order was over 150€. Won't be recommending to anyone. Now I have to wait until the 24th (if not longer) for a refund. Complete joke.

Product arrived in top condition. I normally use DHL when I buy from USA and Japan and I have no issues there. With the range of Vinyl and CDs available from Recordstore I will be dealing with them again.
