What an absolute shambles of an experience. Over 4 weeks since Recell has received my iPhone and I am still yet to receive my payout which was already cut lower than you advertised.

Your advertised payment times are a scam in broad daylight. 3 weeks plus since I accepted your offer and my “instant PayPal transcation” must have been lost.

Send me my money or give me my device back so I can send it to an actual buy back company👍

9/10/22: My phone was received by them.
9/15/22: My phone passed the inspection, confirmed matching quote description.
9/21/22: I followed up on payment still not confirmed. They said they had some glitch and gave a 24-48hrs timeline. Normal timeline should have been 1-3 business days from the inspection confirmation
9/26/22: Still nothing.
9/28/22: They tried to dispute this review.
10/4/22: Check arrived finally but bank put a hold of 5 business days because they think the check might not be paid.
10/12/22: All clear. 2-star overall as it's been a hassle, bad communication from them. They never address you by your name nor sign with their own name when emailing.

When digging into reviews, if you set aside the good ones that look more fake than anything else, the bad reviews talk a lot about no payment, late payment and bounced checks as well as them going out of their way to dispute negative reviews on various platforms to take them down. I'm starting to worry that this is a scam.

Please!!!!! Do not sell your phone to them they will take your phone but never send you the money!!! They took my phone but never paid the money. It’s been more than a month since I shipped them the phone. They promised to send check in 10 business days but they never sent any check after sending multiple emails they finally send the check in email as PDF. But that check bounced because of insufficient funds. Contacted them again but no response. I will be taking legal route with them now as the check bounce is a crime.

Finally got my payment after writing the review. The owner of Recellio even asked me if I would be willing to modify my review or delete it now that they made payment. Seems to me that I was only paid after I made the review. Because I refused they challenged that i was even a customer of theirs with Trustpilot in a attempt to remove my review. I definitely will not be a returning customer.
