Professional and approachable
As the appointed LPA for my elderly parents, I’ve had extensive dealings with Euan MacDonald at Rathbones, and I’ve been extremely impressed with the level of service provided.
Managing financial matters on behalf of elderly relatives can be complex and, at times, quite stressful. Euan has consistently been patient, approachable, and highly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain options clearly and ensure I fully understand each decision. Nothing has ever felt rushed, and no question has been too small.
What stands out most is his willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it’s responding promptly to queries, providing thoughtful guidance tailored to my parents’ circumstances, or simply offering reassurance when needed, his support has made a significant difference.

Mr Keith MacKenzie needs no prompting…
Mr Keith MacKenzie needs no prompting to keep in contact regularly to talk me through my investments and is patient with my many queries. He is honest regarding fees/costs and up front when reviewing investments. This transparency is much appreciated. It is for others to judge on the fees but the service is excellent and personalised based on my attitude to risk assessment. The regular email updates are also welcolmed.

We have learned an enormous amount from Laura, both at Investec and Rathbones. Laura is our go-to consultant when the market is looking either over-exuberant or in difficulties.
