I visited Rathbones in Edinburgh and met with Keith MacKenzie. I was accompanied by my eldest son who is an executor of my will. The objective was to review the performance of my Rathbones investment and familiarise both with my portfolio. As the appointed LPA for my elderly parents, I’ve had extensive dealings with Euan MacDonald at Rathbones, and I’ve been extremely impressed with the level of service provided.
Managing financial matters on behalf of elderly relatives can be complex and, at times, quite stressful. Euan has consistently been patient, approachable, and highly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain options clearly and ensure I fully understand each decision. Nothing has ever felt rushed, and no question has been too small.
What stands out most is his willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it’s responding promptly to queries, providing thoughtful guidance tailored to my parents’ circumstances, or simply offering reassurance when needed, his support has made a significant difference.
