I found Rapid Response Plumbing and Heating through Checkatrade on a Sunday, after my boiler was unexpectedly condemned by Vaillant on Friday afternoon. Rapid Response was the very first firm to respond to my request! I then looked them up on all of the review sites and was pleased to see that they had obtained the Which? certificate of distinction, as well as glowing reviews across all of the various platforms. On messaging them by Whatsapp, they immediately confirmed that they could attend the following day which was amazing!

Gurprashad singh lohia of Rapid Response then arrived early on the Monday and was very pleasant and efficient to deal with. He also condemned the boiler within minutes of his arrival (without any knowledge of Vaillant's findings) and he advised that I needed a new boiler.

Gurprashad then returned on that Wednesday to fit this, and worked throughout the day, taking neither coffee breaks nor lunch, until the new boiler was successfully in place. There was also no mess to clear up afterwards, as he and his junior colleague spread dust sheets all over the floor, moved furniture out of the way as necessary, and then they cleared up everything before they left. I also had a full explanation from him as to how the new boiler worked, with the promise that if I needed anything further, then just to call them. (Rapid Response also have a very efficient admin colleague, Dulcie, who immediately responds to all WhatsApp messages. In addition, all payments and paperwork etc. is dealt with very easily online).

In summary, Rapid Response really are an excellent company, and I only wish that I had come across them a lot sooner!

Our boiler stopped working, and Rapid Response Plumbing and Heating were fantastic from start to finish. Chad replied quickly to my WhatsApp messages and was refreshingly honest, instead of jumping straight to replacing the boiler, he first suggested trying a repair to save costs. That really showed integrity.

He came over, gave a clear quote, helped us find the best price for the boiler, and arranged for it to be installed within a few days. GP, who carried out the installation, was brilliant, efficient and took the time to explain how everything worked.

As usual Gurprashad did a great job carrying out the annual boiler service and cleaning the blocked condensate filter.

I've known this company for a few years now and I'm a local landlord. I need reliable people, especially when a boiler goes down in an HMO and they've always responded fast and fixed the problem. I've had cause to call them to do simpler repairs as well and they have been handled as well. Prices are reasonable and I've recommended them as well.

The boiler in my flat had to be replaced and refitted to current regulations several feet away from its original location--a huge job. Chad and his colleagues were amazing: punctual, polite, professional, exacting, all on the hottest day of the year. They managed this project quickly, working methodically and cleaning up as they went. I was dreading this work being done, but they made it less onerous than it might have been with another company. Definitely recommend Rapid Response!

Rang them for a boiler service, they arranged a engineer to come out the next day, and called to tell me, they will be with me in about an hour, great quality work, excellent service

Didn’t have to wait long, friendly engineer who worked through the possibilities and problems until he got our hot water working again. He was very good at explaining things so I could understand what needed doing.

Great experience with this company. The guy was so friendly and immediately fixed the problem and had the part on him.
Another company quoted a couple thousand in repairs that were not needed! He also offered great advice on what to look out for in future. We will only be using this company in future.

Called Rapid Response as we were not getting any heating from our Valliant Combi only hot water. This was during the cold period a few weeks ago.
Called around Thursday / Friday and was promised an appointment for Monday. Had to chase on Monday morning as not heard back and had to be persistent they come out. In any case he was only 10 minutes away. We were told it was the sensor and were charged £210 for the callout (£120) and £90 for the sensor. The expansion vessel also needed changing we were told and he would come back as we also needed a new filter that we were going to buy.
Once we had the new filter a few days later I contacted RR to get the 2nd visit as we were still without heating. No response.
I called another local plumber who came out within a few days. He said the sensor only costs around £27. He also said there is no problem with the expansion vessel. He also said there was no problem with the filter.
So I would advise anyone to stay away from this company.

Rapid response were able to organise a next day boiler installation after my current one broke. They were incredibly efficient and quick to communicate.

GP was knowledgable and meticulous with his work and was finished by the afternoon. He removed all the old boiler parts and cleaned up everything after he’d finished installing the new boiler.

Chandan came on a Saturday to check our failing boiler, quoted for a new one on Sunday, talked me through my options on Monday and spent all day Tuesday with two employees cleaning the system and replacing the boiler. Very happy with the professional and quick service at a busy time, we will definitely use them again!
