Despite following the planting…
Despite following the planting instructions the plant suffered from Botrytis paeonise, not what I was expecting from a medal winning grower.

Excellent peony plant and service overall
Delivery was a bit slow (it took full 10 days for dispatch) but it was over the period of the Chelsea Flower Show so I guess that caused delays. Once despatched though, the plant arrived the next day.
The peony plant itself was in excellent conditions, it even arrived with 2 ready to pop flowers that I got to enjoy. So definitely good quality plants provided and I would buy again from them.

silly me believed them
I bought one Jacorma peony from Primrose Hall Peonies and I paid £45.95 for it including P&P- I expect that they really do what they promise 'We nurture all of our plants until they are at least 5 years old ensuring they are well established mature flowering Paeonia plants when they are sent off to their new home' .Hahaha naive me - I get plant with two barely grown branches...definitely not 5 years old plant, 5 months maybe - and yes, they totally ignore me when I contact them to complain.

Will look elsewhere in future
Buy at your own risk! They do not have a phone number and don’t respond to messages via their website. My peonies were supposedly sent over two weeks ago but there is no sign.
Strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
Update: Sporadic emails blaming the courier. No apology from the company, just apologising on behalf of the courier. Peonies finally arrived after more than a month.

Perfect plant outstanding great service
Worth every penny very happy. I'm a keen gardener and a pensioner with a limited income but I am very happy to pay for a quality plant especially a fab peony Cytherea the blooms are semi single but as cut flowers they often outlast doubles and change colour.

Communication problems
I needed to replace a peony bought from Primrose Hall in June 2024 which by April of this year was clearly not going to grow, but had great difficulty contacting this company. Eventually after posting a poor review they did respond and explained that their IT had been hacked so emails were not read. Happily they have now apologised and supplied a new plant which looks in excellent health so should thrive. I am pleased with their action but life would have been much easier if they had a phone number.

Beautiful "peony" mugs
Beautiful "peony" mugs - both made in Britain, and designed in Britain. I had been looking for some new mugs for some time, I found a lot I liked but, on inspection although the art or design was British, almost invariably the mugs themselves were made in another country, so disappointing. Add to the lovely mugs, the friendly, prompt assistance and delivery and I'm one happy person.

Great quality and healthy plants
The quality of the plant roots looks healthy and clean with the promise of growth to come. The packing of them was good and safer the soil stayed on the roots not in the box pinging all over the place on opening the box. Thanks for passing on delivery instructions as I got them with the asel it normally takes. Thank to you all safe driving.

Thank you.
Primrose Hall went out of their way to meet a very short deadline with a birthday gift. The recipient was delighted with the peonies. I'll be pleased to order from you again.

Peony ordered arrived in good time and…
Peony ordered arrived in good time and looks healthy. Planted as per instructions and we will wait to see how it does next summer. One star off due to shipping - the box was very battered, the pot broken and much of the compost in the box rather than the pot. This is obviously not Primrose but the courier used.
