Plant condition looks excellent as was the packaging. Only time will tell me the quality of the blooms. So as of now it's four stars optimistically becoming five next year!

I would never normally dream of writing a review before receiving an order but I didn't realise that you have to wait up to 28 days for your order and if you need to get hold of customers services, you have to wait up to 10 days to get a response!!! They provide no telephone number and I have no other way to get in touch. Shocking

Worst customer support I've ever experienced - actually non-existent - my two requests submitted a fortnight apart via their website contact form and later chase-up via email to their customer service email address all went unanswered, and once you do find a phone number for them it too goes unanswered.

RED FLAG ALERT _ AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Visited the stand at RHS Chelsea flower show 2026 - staff seemed bored - but we still bought some Peonies for delivery anyway. Flowers arrived on time - however one was broken at the base. That is when i realised the first red flag - that there is NO CONTACT PHONE NUMBER to try to resolve this issue. This seemed suspicious not to have a customer service number. Only an email is listed. I have so far written 4 emails and had no reply. I have also contacted them via social media and had one reply asking me to DM my order number - which i did a few days ago.... STILL NO REPLY .. Looking through some of the Trust pilot reviews i can see im certainly not alone - one person mentions it took 11 months to get a reply....some never got a reply and had spent hundreds of pounds.
Please be advised Primrose Hall Peonies- If i don't get a replacement or refund - be assured I shall be visiting the Primrose hall stand again in 2027 and seeing if your visitors are aware of your lack of customer service ...you win the Wooden Spoon award !

Peonie rose
The order was dispatched and received a few days after order. I was somewhat disappointed in the size (small) of the poenie given the cost. Some of the potting compost was in the bottom of the box and it wasn’t left as per clear instructions in log store, instead left at patio doors?
Zero customer service!
Spent a lot of money on plants online. The plants sent did not match the order or dispatch note. They do not publish a phone contact number to simply resolve this. We’ve attempted to contact via their website contact form and have heard nothing back in 10 days - not even an indication that the message was received ok. An email to the address from their FAQ page on the website gets bounced back as undeliverable. A Facebook message to their business chat does not get a response other than an automated one.

Elsa Sass not thriving
I ordered an Elsa Sass peony in December I was happy to pay more for a mature plant (5 years) that this company states will flower in the first year. It arrived promptly although it looked damp i planted it out following primrose instructions which were good.
I have many peony’s which all have healthy eyes including a young 2 year old peony bought this year from another company that is doing so much better than the Elsa Sass bought from you.
I very much doubt that it will flower this year, I suppose there is time for more eyes to appear but I doubt that will happen.
I have sent a message to Primrose Hall using the on line support but due to there being no evidence of me sending it and no reply on a previous occasion along with no contact number I have come straight to Trust pilot.
Primrose hall please tell me where to send a photo as evidence. So that I can get a refund or you can replace my Elsa Sass for a decent 5 year plant that is thriving.
If I receive a happy out come I’ll take down my review
I have now heard back from Primrose Hall and for the time being I am happy with with the agreement of reviewing my Elsa Sass later in the season!
Lovely peony selection
Comprehensive selection of peonies of all kinds. The website is easy to use and has full details of every plant. The variety I chose 'Cora Louise' photo could perhaps have shown the full flower rather than a detail.
The mature plant arrived in a large pot and already showing a bud, so I am looking forward hopefully to flowers in the summer.
The only peony grower is primrose
An excellent company with a personal touch, you don't often get that today. Well done primrose
