The Platinum hot tub is great. I purchased the Oslo model with all the bells and whistles.
I was not too happy with the installation. The hot tub cabinet was dirty in places and the shell was covered with smudges and hand prints.
The installer promised to return in a few days to clean it up, and I haven't seen him since. After filling with water, it had a air lock, and the installer buggered up the fittings getting them loose.
I personally feel for $14,000 I should have gotten a flawless hot tub.
Purchased from Splash Pools and Spas, and certainly hoping any service needed is much better than the service provided at this point. There have been other minor issues, but not with the hot tub. At the moment I would give the installation and service two ⭐⭐ at best.

Spa was delivered by Brian and Tyler both were helpful & knowledgeable. Tyler was able to troubleshoot a minor problem & got hottub running. Jake was very helpful in spa selection to meet our needs. Customer service was exceptional.

The bluetooth speakers are not working/won't connect to our phones. We can only run the heater and one jet at a time even though we verified it was/is properly hooked up from our electrician. The heat and jets work fine otherwise, they just aren't working in unison.

Worst spa we have ever owned. Just months old n the lights went out n started a leak. Been since Sept n still without lights.4 months now n still waiting on the right part. Guy came to fix it n never sent him the right parts now we waiting another 2 months for him to come back with the right part. The seats are so deep you need a pillow to sit on if your shorter than 6 ft. Save your money its not worth it..they are junk!! The customer service is a joke no one answers the phone. In order to keep your warranty you have to take samples of water all the time cause if not your warranty is no good. Nothing better than a Hot Springs Spa we had for 20 yrs. Oh yeah my husband fixed the leak not them.

Platinum Hot tubs ten out ten!
Being two over 70’s grandparents we visited many company’s and hot tubs in our search for the right one, we had varying experiences in Essex but Platinum Hot tubs were by far the most professional and helpful, we felt comfortable that they would deliver.
We wanted a three person tub that would have to go through two neighbours gardens and fence panels to get to the small site in ours.
What a team! they arrived and had it installed within a few hours after a tight squeeze and no damage with happy neighbours.
We cannot fault the service and helpful staff of this company which goes a long way in our experience nowadays.
We love our hot tub and recommend this company very highly if you are thinking about getting one, we opted for the Topaz three seater which is would fit four adults easily with a heat pump, the quality a much better than many we looked at.

From the first time I walked in to Family Time Spas, I felt they were very friendly and answered all of my questions. I talked to Jake at first and I knew he was honest and up front about everything that I asked. The hot tub I purchased needed to be ordered and I needed to hire someone to lay a concrete slab to place the hot tub. Since these were going to take some time, they allowed me to go there and use the hot tub they had filled on the floor. I loved it! I got to experience how hard the jets were and since that was a very important thing to me, it immediately started helping my body feel better. I was quickly convinced that I had made a good purchase. I purchased the Topaz three seater. It is a smaller tub, but it has 64 jets, unlike the others that I was looking at in that size. It has bluetooth speakers so I can listen to music while soaking and it has two fountains and changing lights. The price was very reasonable compared to other spas that I looked at, securing my decision that this was the right spa for me. Since I have been using it, I had a problem with one of the side panels warping. They said that was not a problem and ordered a new panel. It will be installed in a few days. Their service is top notch as well as the quality of the spa. I highly recommend Family Time Spas to anyone that wants the joy of sitting in a spa! Thank you Jake and Brian!
There was another side panel has been replaced, no questions asked. The appointment for replacement was made about a week before they came to do the work. Brian called me ahead of time to confirm his arrival time. He was prompt, and did the job. He was pleasant and we enjoyed conversation while he worked. Once again, their service has been top notch! Thank you Family Time Spa’s, I absolutely LOVE my hot tub! I have been in it at least twice a day since it was filled, and I often times go in three times a day! The chemicals and filters have been very easy to maintain, I am known to clean the filters unnecessarily! They do their job without my cleaning them! I put the Frog system in the water, it floats, dispensing chemicals as needed. I replace half of the ball once a month, the other half once every four months. Once I week I put in half a cap of Oxidizer, run the jets with the cover open, and that’s it! My water is clear, warm and VERY relaxing!

The delivery guys were great!
but I’m having a lot of error codes after filling up my hot tub yesterday with waterI can’t get the heater to stay on.
Error codes 15, 28 and 30 keep coming up.
There is no air lock, the jets are all running strong, valves are all open, need help fixing this!!

We were disappointed that the hot tub arrived with the lights not working. That said the customer service to review this complaint has so far been very responsive and helpful in sending an engineer to review. I am hopeful that the hot tub will be fixed to the perfect condition we assumed we would be buying. It is otherwise a great tub and the delivery went well with all the packaging being removed by the drivers.

We just bought the Refresh Hot tub in May 2025. Did not get it hooked up til the end of June because we needed another electrical hookup for it. Our Electrician put in a new 60Amp breaker outside and a new 60 Watt breaker on the inside panel. My hot tub keeps shutting off randomly. Not when being used. I had our electrician come back to make sure everything is working on our end. He tested and electric working fine., he said it had to be the hot tub malfunctioning. I talked to Valley Pool and Spa where I purchased it and they are not willing to help me. Everything was fine til I can not get any help. Thought it would be something a WARRENTY could fix. I have had 2 Caldera spas with out ever having any problems. Hot tub now shutting off everyday and the Service department's only help was to tell me to change my brand new breaker for one that I was not told to install when we bought the hot tub. Apparently they are not required to look at their own contracts and just change things after the fact. Will never deal with these people again

Delivery was a breeze. The Haven crew of three brought the spa to the patio using a cart with steering at both ends making it easy to manuever into place.
They were very helpful explaining panel removal for access and general operations of the spa.
