I needed to transport my dog from Spain to the North of England and was not going to put him in the hold of a plane. After massive amounts of research I kept coming back to Paws Pet Travel. Professional, friendly and most of all reassuring from day one. My driver Matt arrived early and I was totally amazed when my dog, who's very wary of strangers, took to him straight away. That said it all for me. The journey was relaxing with good conversation and my dog slept most of the time because of the calm atmosphere. I really cannot thank Lisa and Matt enough. What I thought was going to be a very stressful time was in fact a very relaxing trip with an incredibly chilled dog. The messages from Lisa on the journey making sure we were doing okay were so thoughtful.
Even the paper work to get on to channel tunnel was a breeze. For the final leg of the journey we were lucky enough to be driven by Sirwan. Again, it was relaxing, good conversation and a very happy dog. If you are looking for a team that really cares about you and your pet please look no further. They really are good people. We used Paws Pet Travel to relocate our three cats back to the UK from Algeria. After landing in Paris, we quickly found Lynda thanks to her good communication via WhatsApp and the cats were quickly on their way and we received regular updates before being delivered safely to Gloucester. Overall very happy with the service, from the booking, the organisation in advance, to the day of transport itself. We felt very comfortable handing the cats over to Lynda who is clearly an animal lover, and we would use again for our next move.

My daughter and her husband moved to the UK with their cats. It is not an easy process. She researched many options and the only one that seemed legit and right was Paws Pet Travel. I can’t say enough good things about Lynda! We had to change our flights and she accommodated us. We were delayed, and she waited. She met us as we got off the train and helped us to her van. She is friendly, and incredibly helpful. She guided us through the pet check in process, calmed us when they needed more info, and whisked us away through the Channel Tunnel! She even dropped us at our hotel which was a change from the original plan. HIGHLY recommend this company for anyone transporting pets across the border. We couldn’t have done it without her!!!

I recently used Paws Pet Travel for relocating my pets, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. From start to finish, the care they took was excellent. This was my second time using Paws Pet Travel and I wouldn't consider a different company. They are just fantastic, really present by phone, email and WhatsApp, they've got a great system and are really flexible.
Special mention goes to Matt who is such a warm, personable character who really transforms what could be a stressful time into a relaxing road trip.
I had a massive screw up at the Chunnel with my cats papers.
Despite all my research and thinking I had done things by the book, it turns out there was a big problem and I'm going to detail it here in case it's helpful to anyone reading.
My cat had a European pet passport from when we used to live on the continent.
Back in the UK when I was preparing to move back to the mainland, I got a UK vet to give her her rabies injection and log it. This was based on the following information from the French embassy in London website:
"be accompanied by either:

i. an export health certificate issued by an official veterinarian within 10 days of crossing the border, if your pet does not have a passport issued in a EU Member State, certifying that it has undergone a valid anti-rabies vaccination; for subsequent movements within the EU and Northern Ireland, this certificate remains valid for a maximum period of four months, from the date of issue;
ii. a passport issued by a Member State of the European Union, certifying valid rabies vaccination"

I had that passport certifying rabies vaccination.

The problem was that post brexit, a UK vet CANNOT write anything in a European passport. My vet didn't realise this and neither did I.

It meant that upon arriving at the tunnel, despite having the rabies vaccine and a European passport, my cat was not permitted to cross.

Cue me crying (🫣) and Matt stepping in! He whipped out his phone and started calling all the local vets, and we then had to go on a crazy side quest to some random Kent village to get an emergency health certificate done. What a bloody nightmare! Luckily Matt didn't even flinch and managed to keep me feeling really calm amd even bizarrely light-hearted.

The people at this company are really great, genuine people who provide a brilliant service: I already thought this the first time around, and this second experience confirmed it.

Lynda's team has just helped me for the third time, this time traveling with a newly adopted dog from Hong Kong to UK picking me up in Paris. I can't speak highly enough of the Paws Pet Travel team. They take the stress out of traveling and it couldn't be easier on arriving at Charles de Gaulle. Super reliable, good company on the trip and very efficient! Matt picked me up this time, was great!

From the initial contact to the actual journey everything was easy and explained well. My questions were all answered and the team were also really flexible when the airline changed my flight with less than 48 hours notice.

Matt met us at Schipol and drove us from their, via the eurotunnel to the Northampton area. Matt came armed with food and drink in case we were hungry after the long haul flight which was really appreciated. The whole experience with Pet Paws travel was first class and we have recommended them to our friends who need to undertake similar journeys.

Matt was incredible - He was there on time, brought snacks because he thought I might be hungry, gave water to my dog and overall was just great.

Excellent service and very reliable. House move from Kent to Bristol. Edie collected my cat from a cattery to bring him to my new home in Bristol. She collected him the night before and got him nice and relaxed in her house before transporting him here the next day. He arrived in a very calm state - which was remarkable as he is a bit of a diva - and has settled in so well. I am sure this was due to the kindness and care Edie took to look after him. She kept me updated all the time and was highly efficient. After my experience I would not hesitate to highly recommend Paws Pet Travel.

I can't recommend these services highly enough! I used Paws Pet Travel to transport me and my dog from France to the UK. Despite contacting them only a week before our travel date, they were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Our driver, Matt, was fantastic—professional, friendly, and very helpful. He met us right on the platform at Calais train station and assisted with our luggage, which was incredibly helpful. The booking process was simple, and any questions I had were promptly answered. The journey itself was smooth and enjoyable, with a comfortable break at the Flexipass lounge before crossing the Channel. The Flexipass is well worth the extra cost. It's a service that truly cares about its passengers, both human and furry alike.

The CS is very nice and helpful.
The price is reasonable.
The driver is punctual.
From booking to delivering, everything is just right.

I have used Paws Pet Travel twice now, March 2024 and June 2024, both times with Eddie and would highly recommend. The first time she picked me and my cat up from Paris CDG and drove us to a pick-up point in the UK via Eurotunnel, and the second time picked up a relative's cat who was being shipped back to the UK from overseas via cargo, unaccompanied. Both times the booking process was clear and smooth, with good communication. The car was modern, clean, comfortable and well driven. Eddie's extensive experience and knowledge of the process (collection, airport clearing etc.) as well as her genuine care for the pets she transports is why I was confident in booking again the second time, knowing that we couldn't be there to accompany. It was a weight lifted off our shoulders knowing everything would be taken care of! The peace of mind is well worth the cost, and I will book with Paws Pet Travel again in future if ever needed.

We contacted Lynda as we tragically had to transport a dear little cavalier King Charles from Poole to Lincolnshire under sad circumstances pretty last minute, and couldn’t face doing it ourselves. Lynda was highly responsive, postive and extremely sympathetic and helpful in finding us a solution, despite being fully booked herself when she could easily have said no, resulting in a stress free smooth process and getting our dog safely delivered…. We are so grateful.

Sorting our travel with our cats was stressful, however Lisa made it very easy and straightforward. Everything from communication to the actual pick up been great. Thank you to Lisa and our wonderful driver Matt! Would definitely recommend their services.

I can't thank these guys enough. They made what is (potentially) a very stressful situation so enjoyable, fun and easy. From their great communication -- always immediate and upbeat, and detailed, and personal -- to their knowledge of the complexities of traveling to the UK with your pet, I can't imagine anyone better. Lisa was so responsive, helpful, and very patient with all my questions.
I did my research too. Paws Pet Travel are the only ones in my opinion I would ever use. They are honest, upfront, not to mention the most reasonable priced.
On the day Matt came to get us, and I have to say he was just the best! I immediately felt comfortable. He's so nice. A great (safe) driver, great conversation, great with animals. We all got on immediately. And the time flew by!

I highly recommend these services! I used Paws Pet Travel to drive me, my partner, and our two cats from Paris to our new home in the UK. Getting the quote was quick and easy, as were getting answers to the questions I had prior to the big day. The trip was pleasant and efficient, with a nice break in the middle at the Flexipass lounge before the journey under the channel (the Flexipass is decidedly worth the extra cost). I expected my moving day to be very stressful, but it was not, thanks to Paw Pets. :)
