We put our family home on the market with Pattinsons at Houghton. Daniel was exceptional and very friendly and helpful. He put our minds at ease as this was a difficult time for us. He went above and beyond and noticed all of the detail and hard work that had gone into our home. Daniel was very reassuring and explained the process to us. Highly recommend Daniel and the Houghton branch.

I wanted to participate in an online auction after noticing a property I really liked. When I registered, there were just under four days left until the auction ended. I completed all the forms and waited for approval to start bidding. I’ve been waiting ever since. Now the auction is only a few hours from closing, and I still haven’t received confirmation. Ironically, I did receive a text message from Pattinson reminding me that less than 24 hours remain and urging me to hurry up 😂😂😂. Apparently, I won’t get the chance to take part at all. Very poor service that leaves a rather mixed impression…

EDIT - complete waste of time emailing them as they requested in the reply, apparently it’s my own fault for trusting their complete lie about the solicitor they recommended being a “trusted partner they work with regularly” and any charges over what pattisons quote and issues regarding the performance of the solicitor is not their responsibility, and me being told verbally what fees I’ll be paying and given only the back page of a multi page document to sign and never seeing the actual charges is also my fault and just expected to accept it for next 6 months. Don’t give this theiving lying company the time of day

I’ve held off writing this as long as possible but now at the point where I have had enough
Bought my rental flat through them via online auction and was offered the services of a solicitor they assured me was one of their partners and worked with regularly, this solicitor charged twice as much as pattisons quoted, withheld £3500 of my money for 8 months that was to be paid to the property management company (for sellers unpaid service charge which I was only made aware of just prior to completion after I’d paid auction fees ect so couldn’t back out)
I was later informed by a member of staff that they never work with them and I was given a random alternative under the guise of a trusted partner

Despite this I decided to go with them to rent out the property which to be fair the lasses in the office were excellent
Unfortunately due to miscommunication I was advised the collection fee would be around £45 per month but is actually £81
I was also quoted a months rent plus vat as the letting fee which I anticipated as being £540 but was charged £600
The property inspector without my authority arranged installation of a smoke alarm and cutting of extra keys at my expense.
At the point now where I’m done with this company as soon as 6 month contract is up I’ll be switching letting agents may not even wait that long why on Earth should I honour the contract when they have lied to me several times and will never purchase property through them again

This is the second property I have purchased from Pattinsons Alnwick Branch.
All of the office staff were all so very helpful and they are so approachable.
I had a number of questions and all were answered if a swift and professional manner.

Kelly Dymock initially showed me around the property and was very knowledgable. Kelly was there to answer all of our questions and offered her advice and expertise.

Pattinsons managed the whole process very well. Notified via text of all viewings which they secured a high number of. Attended the viewings on my behalf which was exactly what I needed.
Sold and contracts exchanged in around 2 weeks so couldn’t have asked for much more.
Dean the valuer was great. He was honest, gave some really good insights and guidance which I appreciated. He proposed a solution that I accepted and was executed precisely how we wanted. We sold for a higher price than originally expected too, so overall a great outcome, delivered well.
Good contact and comms with office staff and I was updated regularly.
I don’t think there was anything else I could have asked for

Chloe and Caitlin have been brilliant throughout the whole process. My property was sold for well above the reserve and the process was so quick and easy. Huge thank you to the team!

My sister has just had the most awful experience with a horrible man at this office. She was told she'd got a house and rushed back from holiday to sort it out. Was told very rudely that no she hadn't him and the vendor had let a different man have it. My sister is very ill and the effect of this on her is absolutely unimaginable. What a rude nasty man!

A profesional prompt friendly helpful service provided. It was easy form start to finish and all staff involved form Martha showing us around, Darren in the office and the Steph at the rentals team have been so helpful and professional.

Finally managed to break out of their management, with both of my properties.

Did not give me standard 1 month notice that my tenants were vacating, as the coordinator was on holiday! Guess nobody else in Wallsend branch can handle such a complicated task.

They want your money and favour the tenant for repeated business. Be warned.

I contacted Pattinson’s for a valuation of my property and was very disappointed. They significantly undervalued my home, despite a property just a few doors down recently selling for considerably more. It felt like they were not acting in my best interests, and I lost confidence in their ability to market my property properly. Needless to say, I declined to use their services.

Jason and his team at the Jarrow branch have been absolutely amazing. They looked after our home when it was with them for rental and then the selling of the home. Jason and his team throughout the whole journey from start to finish have out done themselves and handled everything. The team were there at hand when we needed them and always give a can do approach, called me.back when promised and mitigated throughout the whole journey. Jason was a phone call away and an absolute angel with us, he has a heart of gold and like his team goes that extra mile to support. Jason you are a credit to the company and have a fantastic team.
