I had a phone call from Megan Challaborough park holiday resort to confirm the check in procedure. She was very pleasant and efficient with a nice relaxed manner. We are now really looking forward to our upcoming break.

Had a lovely weekend at Carmarthen Bay in Sept 2021. Quiter than other parks we have stayed at. Safe for the older children to wander about. Wheelchair adapted caravan was immaculate. Only one downside no takeaway on site. Food could be ordered to takeaway from the restaurant but expensive. Train line next to park but not a problem.

The first time we came you gave us a better caravan at a lower cost. Despite the fact it poured with rain we enjoyed it more. The caravan we had on our recent visit was a disgrace. As I've already told you, the front door didn't lock. The curtains were hanging off and the outside night light didn't work. These problems were rectified after we went to customer services in person and complained. But is this really the standard of service you expect your customers to expect? People were playing loud music until the early hours so sleep was difficult. There was a full nappy bag under our caravan steps when we arrived and it was still there when we left, despite having 3 people round to do repairs, not one of them noticed. Your lack of standards are unacceptable

We arrived at park dean sandford in dorset and were told our caravan was not ready and it would be 12 o clock before we could move in at twelve o clock we were told there was a problem as the previouse people in there tested positive and they would have to put us in a temporary van for two days two days later we were told that our caravan would be ready at 12 o clock at twelve we were told that there was a smell in the van so they have put zn ozone machine in there and it will be four o clock so at 4 oclock we could move in but found there was no key and everything bedding included was damp from the ozone which they turned off at three thirty so two days wasted of the holiday we were given £30 in vouchers and a cheap bottle of wine in compensation the site was being run on minimal staff and reduced menu even though every caravan was occupied when you think i paid £1200 for a week for eight of us we all went home early as it was so bad half an hour to get a coffee over an hour for fish and chips for two even though there was only six people in front of me in the queue the whole experienc ruined our holiday will never use parkdean again the manager carol was rude and matter of fact no customer skills also there was no bedding for the bed in the lounge the caravan should have been left to air and dry out as the ozone machine relies on humidity to work and people with respiratory problems should not be exposed to this but we had no option

Another fantastic holiday weekend NOT The place was filthy, toilets, tables in club house. I called the police last night as the travellers were having a full on fight at the back of the pool area. Packed in like sardines and good job for a motor mover to get our caravan in place. Absolute carnage. Thanks for a shambles of a weekend. In my 43 years of coming to Vauxhall I’ve never seen it so bad. Police arrived some 12 hours later to try and remove the illegal visitors who had just rocked up and somehow managed to park just where they wanted. Need better security patrolling the site and on the gate and better cleaners. People flouting the rules left right and centre and nothing done about it by staff !

Would have scored less if I could. Visited Ruda holiday park, firstly we were put in a caravan which was £250 a week cheaper and had the manager try to fob us off with contact head office. On revisiting were told it was pot luck what caravan we received!
They eventually admitted there mistake when we did contact head office, although they were at full capacity and were going to come back with a compensation offer. Only got the manager Fiona to send an email with completely different information on. She lied point blank to our faces.
To add insult to injury out of 8 of our party over 14 years of age, 5 have now tested positive for covid. We were advised by the bar staff that they were understaffed due to a number of staff having to isolate. This information was not passed onto the customers by the site or managment. Looking at other review that have been removed from there site we are not the only ones. The site is a Covid breading ground and Parkdene seem to think it's ok to put there customers at risk for the financial gain.
The place is a dirty run down site and the managment are worse than useless. I would advise everybody to give it a massive wide berth.
Just a follow up. Went to the website as instructed and also emailed the customer service team. Surprisingly no reply again.
Just use Zen desk to auto reply to make it look like they actually care.
No customer service at all.

Just returned from Barmston Beach Yorkshire. The staff could not of worked harder to provide customer satisfaction and very helpful. We had a Gas problem in the caravan & as soon as I alerted and asked member of staff for help, maintenance man Craig was instantly there got to my caravan before I'd walked back from reception.
The site is not one of biggest parkdean I've been too (I've been alot up and down uk) But beach access brilliant and staff work hard. Caravan clean and ready early 😁👍

AVOID ! Where to begin , 1st , health and safety? Above the dining room table is a cupboard with extremely sharp handles that is extremely DANGEROUS, my daughter sliced her head open on the handles that stick out of the doors, I also hit my head on the underside of the cabinet a few times as well, 2nd, the caravan itself is very dated and run down, very basic although not stinking dirty but definitely was NOT CLEAN, you would think they would take more care especially with COVID-19 , 3rd , NO FOOD !!! In entertainment centre, although the app says there is food, they will take your payment and order then say you can’t have it and it will take 2 days to be refunded! Also the app says there is coors light beer but when you click it it says they don’t have any, the bar tenders say they do but they can’t sell it as the app says no?? 3rd, FOOD AGAIN! Parkdean says you can have food such as breakfast, lunch , dinner etc.. however you can not order any food until after 5pm?? , and then if you order it do you get it ??? Noooo . 4th, the entertainment is poor for children and almost nonexistent for adults, advertisers things like party dancers, movies under the stars, park live and it was Vertual which were never seen at the park so blatantly false advertising as it wasn’t there??? am a regular family holiday caravan enthusiast , I average at least 4 a year, I have to be honest and will say this was my 1st holiday at parkdean Torquay in Devon and I would not recommend this site to anyone.I can’t post photos on this review but I have plenty especially the cut to my daughters head 😡

Needed to contact Parkdean Resorts after my brother died & I found a direct debit. After 4 failed attempts of hanging on the phone for 30mins each time, I received an email in reply to mine, requesting a document (I'd already emailed "help & support" attaching the death certificate) that was unnecessary. I called again and was told the same. After 1hour the agent, going backwards and forwards to her manager, said she would look into it and call me back the next day. I didn't hold out much hope having been told it was the Admin Dept I really needed and they didn't call out! Well, true to her word Helen (I think a Geordie) called me and said my brothers a/c had been traced along with the death certificate, which was sufficient to proceed. After jumping through a few more hoops all was sorted. Holiday cancelled and refund (minus fees) arranged. This was incredibly stressful at an awful time. Parkdean need a Help & Support Team who can actually SUPPORT. Without Helen's help I would have given up. I wonder how many people in the same situation actually have?

Very tired cramped caravan, not very clean, whole site needs weeding, the grass was cut one day but left uncollected & perfect to walk into the carvans.
Bar only open from 4.30pm (therefore not possible to buy breakfast or lunch) due to staff shortage
£909 for an old caravan, actually 4 miles from Torquay (£10 - 12 each way in a taxi) 3 swims, a crazy golf course that looked as though it was built as part of GCSE metalwork project, Covid regulations ignored by a large number of guests & unchallenged by staff & a ball court with astroturf older than me. Overpriced.
Only saving grace was apart from one staff member (our car was blocked in by his van, we had to knock on caravan doors for 10 minutes to find him, his only response was to snap "I haven't got my crystal ball") every staff member we came across was friendly & helpful

Where to start is the question
Touring pitch a tip mainly mud and rubbish all round and dog mess
Night time noisy and rats running round yes rats omg
Service in restaurant 3 hrs wait for food service
The place needs a serious shake up will never return even if I was free

Caravan polar opposite to what we had seen online and booked. Nothing like the pictures. I know these are for illustration purposes only, but when you have paid for an upgrade (twice) and you have no curtains, a broken fire, ignitor on cooker glued so it doesn't work, no passes despite paying for them, no electricity for a full day with no prior knowledge that works were being carried out and ignorant staff who mumble under their breath when you ask for help. Oh and customer service is a waste of time as I have emailed them for a refund for the upgrade I paid for an didn't get and no response. They were quick to take the money though!
Edit: I contacted the on site reception 4 times during my stay nothing was done. I have contacted the customer service email address and still no reply

Superb short break, nice, clean accommodation. Minor issue with the T.V sorted out within the hour.Staff helpful and pleasant.Very enjoyable stay

Stayed at Brynowen Mid Wales last October 2020. It was a filthy dirty, dilapidated caravan. The staff did nothing but lie when I tried to get the many issues resolved. We were not offered any refund or vouchers for on site. I wrote - yes a letter of 2 pages- to head office as I received a computer generated reply which was dismissive to my feedback. Again dismissive. Never did get any satisfactory apology.

Paid for cancellation insurance on the booking. Husband fell off ladder 2 weeks before holiday and badly broke his arm. Contacted them immediately it happened and now 5 and a half weeks later I am still being given the ‘run around’ as they give every excuse not to give us our refund. Whole organisation seems ‘hit and miss’. They don’t care we are now in overdraft big time. Either inefficient or lying. Can’t decide on which.

Just returned a day early from what will be our last break with Parkdean. All I will say is avoid like the plague. Caravan was dirty and would benefit from a deep clean. Not what I would expect especially in present Covid situation.Definetly no Covid measures being taken at Parkdean Sunnydale park at Saltfleet.
Complained to reception who said they would send a cleaner in the next hour, cleaned it myself so I knew it was clean. Inexcusable that I needed to complain at all!!!
Parkdean have certainly let their standards slip.

If I could Leave zero stars I would naze marine is disgusting they show you a caravan in the photos then give you something totally different and to cover there self's they say you might not get the one shown very crafty anyway dirty damaged some cushions broken remote control no item the caravan had not been cleaned and everywhere thus is auto be cleaned properly because of covid the cleaners have no idea how to clean as for the club house food disgusting over priced garbage water coming out of the chicken disgusting all the people in charge should be sacked including the ceo who has no idea how to run a company do yourself a favour go elsewhere.

We booked a last minute break at thorness bay. The only accommodation left was a basic caravan which we accepted however basic caravan does not mean it should be dirty. There was mould in the shower, fridge was filthy, the floor dirty, bedding dirty and the list goes in and on. I managed to get our caravan changed however the cleaning still wasn’t great. During these covid times you would
Think that a deep clean would at least mean a clean was done not just a quick wipe over.
The food at the boathouse was really nice and the covid measures put in place were very good however I think Parkdean need to employ better cleaners as all the reviews I have read have been very poor regarding their standards. Come on Parkdean sort your cleaning out or you will be the reason for a spike in the infection rates rising.

If there was an option for no stars I would have left no stars. Arrived 28th May Southview Skegness to an owner's caravan (Upgraded through parkdean) I wasn't particularly comfortable with others people's belongings.
It was clear to see on arrival that the caravan had not been cleaned.
We had no internet Wi-Fi or data that end in the park so could not use your app to order anything. We did buy an internet package which still didn't work.
The caravan nextdoor seemed to think they owned our caravan too, They had three cars and in the excess of 10 people at their van all drinking outside till 3am with kids and digs running around our caravan.
I called security three times, twice to be told that they were otherwise engaged, the other time being told they would come out which they did not.
I spoke with the manager first thing Saturday morning, and just by shear luck she had a brand new that had recently been signed off. Let's not be mistaken that this was a fluke because I know the caravan park was full.
By the time we moved our belongings and all the shopping that I had done Friday, it was actually Saturday afternoon before we could think about enjoying our holiday.
We realised quite quickly that the caravan was not really ready, I called maintenance for a screwdriver in order to put the coat hangers in the cupboards, I was advised it would probably be quicker to do it myself then wait for maintenance which I proceeded to do. By sunday we realised that a wet patch had appeared in the carpet in the living room, we called maintenance who didn't seem to be bothered. It was getting progressively worse and we're unable to go into the front room without getting our socks wet so again I called security who said they pass it on to maintenance. By Monday nobody had come so I went down to reception myself. By this time I really felt like I had spent most of my holiday chasing your staff! Finally someone came out, the overall feeling was that the staff just we're not bothered.bothered about a brand new caravan.
I booked two swimming slots, I thought they would be allowed to stay in only to find out that they actually have to leave the pool and queue up again for another half an hour, which caused my son who has autism to have a complete meltdown waiting outside freezing cold. I do not understand this level of restriction when the same level of hygiene is not applied throughout the site, in particular the boat house. The tables and chairs were rarely wiped down or cleared.
We booked for bumpers zorbs which I booked over the telephone and and was under the impression it was in water. The overall experience was completely underwhelming for both children.
We tried to hire go-karts at various points during Saturday and Sunday but to no avail, around 3pm Sunday we spoke with staff who said to come back at 10 in the morning as they were shutting for the day (at 3pm???). We arrived at 9:45 Monday morning by 10:10, no sign of the go-karts, on acquiring I was told they weren't due to be operation till 11 a.m. at this point I became very angry as my husband was going home for the rest of the week, again your staff member was extremely kind and got two cars out for us but this still was not acceptable and the complaining was taking the toll on the atmosphere within the family.
I am pleased to say that kayaks and aqua jets were hit.
However archery that we had booked for the Tuesday was a complete disaster.
The Staff member was 15 minutes late and arrived looking like he had the hangover from hell, didn't knowledge us while setting up and was clearly having waves of nausea. He had trouble getting the balls to stay in the air flow, and eventually gave up and told the children just to shoot at the target at the back. More and more people arrived and he seemed unable to organise the task at hand. We gave up and the kind staff at leisure gave it us voucher for the go-karts. But still I felt like I'd spent more time I'm chasing and complaining then enjoying my holiday.
We had jet skis booked, I was surprised to learn that the children were too old as kids ages were told on booking. Although they rectified the immediate situation with the children, it was becoming apparent that our holiday was being severely affected. We couldn't even get into the show bar so we has little to show for our £800 holiday!
There is so much more to the review/disaster but I have run out of character spaces...... I am currently fighting with customer relations and cancellations to do a full refund for 2 upcoming holidays I have with parkdean. Because of the traumatic experience that my son has had there is no way we would be able to pay holiday with parkdean again due to his autism.
This is unfair!!!!!
Just because I can't finish the review, to put it into perspective we left the park early!
