I have completed a course in care which is the first time i have done any courses since leaving collage over 40 years ago. My tutor was very helpful and encouraging all the way through the course. she helped me build my confidence and i passed. Highly recommend paragon.

I have just completed my NVQ Level 2 Adult Care with Paragon Skills. Halfway through the course I genuinely felt like giving up, but thanks to the tireless support, patience and encouragement from my tutor, Jolene Hornsby, I was able to continue and successfully finish. The excellent support and guidance from my tutor Elizabeth Naude throughout the course is a major reason i didnt give up half way. I doubted myself but she never gave up on me. I especially appreciated the flexibility of the course, allowing me to balance my studies alongside work despite the family challenges that made me pause the course at some point. Learning resources were clear and easy to follow which helped in building my confidence and practical skills at work. Completing this qualification has no doubt helped me grow professionally and given me valuable knowledge that i can apply in my career moving forward. Rachel Birkinshaw has been an absolute credit to Paragon Skills throughout my Level 5 Leader in Adult Care qualification. From the very beginning, she has been supportive, approachable, professional, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. Today i completed my level 3 adult lead diploma at a merit. I want to thank my tutor Gurpreet kaur who supported me through this and was always there to answer any questions i had throughout the course. It also gave me the opportunity to achieve my functional skills level 2 during this course which i never achieved before. The e-learning during the course was great and helped me along the way. I will apply what i have learnt to my job. Thank you

Finally, I’ve achieved my NVQ Level 3 qualification! I honestly couldn’t have done it without the amazing support from Kirsty Welding. From day one, she have been my pillar of strength throughout this journey.

There was a point where I felt like giving up, but then I thought about all the effort, encouragement, and belief she had invested in me, and that gave me the motivation to keep going. I didn’t want to disappoint someone who had supported me so much.

My experience was so amazing. I had Lydia as my tutor and she was so attentive and supportive . She believed in me and does with all her learners , as a learner with additional needs she catered to my struggles/worries so well. She believed I could do it and I finished the Level 2 with a double distinction I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the belief and the support tailored to me! Completing my Level 3 qualification has been a really positive and rewarding experience, and a huge part of that is thanks to my tutor, Nicky Creswick. Nicky has not only been an excellent tutor, providing clear guidance and support throughout, but has also gone above and beyond in her role.

The Supportive and dedicated team at Paragon Skills gave me the opportunity to thrive and flourish in my role as a Peer Support Worker. I have just completed Level3 Peer Worker Apprenticeship with Paragon Skills. The Guidance, Knowledge and skills of the subject from Nick Creswick (tutor) are incomparable, unique,and well deserved recognition. I have completed my apprenticeship with ease. The apprenticeship was very informative, insightful and engaging. Utilising always real examples from the work and applying it with theories and knowledge gained from the apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is recommended for anyone working as a Peer Support Worker as it provides with skills and knowledge that you will not receive from anywhere and fills the gap in understanding the role of peer work, the history of peer work as well as other imperative topics. For me, as an apprenticeship, I was very much interested in Emotional Intelligence topic which I found very eye opener and lead me to see the service users and the colleagues in a different light. Keep up the excellent work Nicky.

I had a brilliant tutor, Anne Whykes, and Ella brown, they pushed me to my limits and believe in me when I didn’t believe in myself, they altered the way they learnt due to my struggling with dyslexia, and I couldn’t appreciate them more, they really help and break stuff down even when it gets hard.
