Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 48 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently express significant disappointment with product quality, noting items like bedding and towels often fall apart or develop holes prematurely, often within a year. Many feel high prices are not justified by this poor durability. People also report negative experiences with customer service, describing it as unhelpful or unwilling to honor warranties. However, some customers encountered order issues (unshipped or incorrect products) and problems with the review system, as links often expire too soon. Conversely, a few people were satisfied with certain products, like mattresses or specific linen, finding them comfortable and durable.

Worn paper thin and torn in 14 months!

I ordered a new fitted 100% linen sheet for my double bed in July of 2024. It was on sale but still cost almost $100. Less than one year later, the sheet began to wear thin in a couple of spots and just a few weeks ago holes appeared in both spots, one of which is now the size of my head! I contacted Parachute and they informed me that the sheets are "sadly" outside the warranty period. Even cheap sheets last longer than 14 months. I have never owned sheets that broke down so quickly. I will not ever order a product from Parachute again and I do NOT recommend them.

I purchased a sheet set from Parachute…

I purchased a sheet set from Parachute home and wish I had saved my money. They are so thin and within a year of owning them they all have runs and holes on them. Stay far away from this company, the quality is very poor for the price.

I spent $476 on king size linen bedding…

I spent $476 on king size linen bedding and it all fell apart within two years. The bottom sheet has several holes. The flat sheet has holes and two of the four pillow cases are coming apart at the seams. I reached out to Parachute customer service and apparently the warranty period is only one year, which is totally ridiculous since such expensive bedding should last several years if it's properly cared for. I've bought linen bedding from other companies before that lasted MUCH longer, so I won't be buying anything from Parachute again.

Liz to the Rescue!!

Hi, in January we purchased 4 sets of Turkish cotton towels, hand towels, and wash clothes. We Lov’m all!! Had a problem with one of the wash clothes and Liz was an amazing Help representative, very understanding and helpful. She resolved the problem quickly and Parachute has a happy customer!! Thank you!!

Really poor quality products

Really poor quality products. I bought the blanket and bathrobes based on their clever photoshoots and marketing on the website but the products are only good in pictures. They are also way over-priced and once you wash them, all defects show up with threads peeling off and completely beaten up.

Another company with atrocious handling of customer data

I bought one pair of sheets from Parachute in 2016. They were OK. I used them for a couple of years and then replaced them.

Despite expressing to their customer service at the time of purchase that I did not want to receive marketing or communications of any kind that was not related to my order, and them acknowledging receipt of that request, I started getting marketing anyway. So I had to waste more time telling them again to stop treating my personal contact info like a commodity.

The marketing would stop and then start again spontaneously. So again, in 2018 and in 2020 I had to ask them again to stop. I even asked them to delete me from their system. But of course Parachute Home, like many other online businesses, holds on to your data with a vice grip.

Today, NINE YEARS after my one purchase of sheets from Parachute Home, I got an e-mail asking me to "rate my purchase." Unbelievable.

It should be possible to buy goods without having to deal with this trampling of privacy and preferences. Parachute Home has not been professional or careful in their handling of my personal data. I would caution anyone about purchasing from them and, this horrid experience has made me into a never again customer.

Horrible customer service

Received our expensive, advertised as 100% Egyptian Cotton” sateen sheets. Labeled only 100% cotton. In less than 4 months they have pilled! Which means cheap short fiber cotton. Customer service number no longer exists (I wonder why). Only able to get customer service by going through the New York physical store. Sent in pictures and all they offer is 20% off new sheets. Like I would waste more money. They are deceptive with HORRIBLE customer service.

Missed the mark at every turn

Missed the mark at every turn. Bought a pillow and a cover, knew what I wanted, easy purchase.
Shipped cover separate from the pillow
Cover took a full week later to arrive.
Cover shipped was the wrong size, their upsell in checkout did not apply the correct size.
Customer service email is an AI bot.
After finally getting a human, had to drop off the return at UPS and told 14 days. before a refund.
Steer clear of these boneheads. They don't know how to run ecom. At the end of the day the products come from China, might as well buy it from anyone but these guys. Save yourself a headache.

Birthday Gift a BIG FLUB!

Bought a bathrobe for my husband.
Color nice, liked the material, but the fit was awful. We ordered medium. My husband is 5'10" and slim. The robe fit nothing like the picture. 3" above his knees, 3" above wrist bone and hardly had any overlap. It had a medium tag but looked like a childs small. He looked ridiculous. The fit was nothing like the picture. It was a birthday gift. Very disappointed

Linen fitted sheet shredding apart

Linen fitted sheet shredding apart. I placed an order for a linen sheet set from Parachute back in 2022 and used the sheets sporadically since I have other sets of linen sheets. However after following laundering instructions, the fitted sheet is literally tearing apart. Not recommended and when reaching out to customer service, just told that they have a year warranty although it is advertised as a product that should have a long lifespan is used according to their instructions. Crate and Barrel and west elm have much better quality linen sets than Parachute.

Good quality at super high prices

I bought one of the Venice sets using a discount code. The quality is very nice. My gut feeling is that it's a rip off though. I paid five times as much as Parachute than I would have at a big box store, when the quality is not five times better. It's better, but not as much as expected. It makes no difference to my sleep.

Quality is the worst!

Bought $500 worth of pillows.... only to have them develop balls in them after just a few months of use. Spoke to "chat" and they told me that's because I need to wash them every 6 months?! What a bunch of BS!
Do not waste your money on this place... they will be out of business very soon and the product does not last at all.

Awful quality

Bought a set of their sheets and the fitted sheet lost all elasticity within three days. It’s literally useless now. Contacted customer support and was told since I didn’t buy it directly from them that they were unable to assist and that their ‘warranty’ would not be applicable. I would give zero stars if I could. Will never purchase this product again.

Avoid Parachute Home at all cost. Consider Cozy Earth or Quince and thank me later.…

Worst, most apathetic customer service that I’ve ever encountered. I dare say that they have no customer service and really don’t care. You are forced to make an appointment if you want to speak to a person otherwise you are forced to use their useless chat option. If you’re in the market for fine linen you’d be best served patronizing Cozy Earth for quality and exceptional customer care or Quince for exceptional customer care. I’ve purchased from both and they seem to really want my business. Parachute boasts return window of 60 days and then forces you to jump through hoops. In a nutshell, I received $545 of merchandise as a Christmas gift. I didn’t like the color but when I tried to exchange the items I was told that 60 days had passed and that they could send me a credit but no exchange. I expressed my dismay saying that I didn’t understand their logic. They said that this was their policy for gifts. I then asked the gifter to say that she was exchanging the item and they promptly emailed her a return label which she forwarded to me so that I could return the item for exchange. I returned item and received the color that I preferred. Sage green returned for white. You can imagine my dismay when I opened the package to discover that it was indeed white but with black stitching. Again I was forced to deal with the chat person and was told that if I looked very closely at the website I’d see that the there was black ‘decorative’ stitching. I expressed my dissatisfaction saying that I would prefer ‘white’ and was summarily told that they could not exchange one item for another despite the fact that both the plain white and the white with black stitching both cost $350. At that point, in the interest of my sanity I thanked the chat person and said goodbye. Absolutely ridiculous.

DO NOT SHOP AT PARACHUTE- THE WORST…

DO NOT SHOP AT PARACHUTE- THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.

TLDR: No Parachute product is worth the (clearly very high) risk of them screwing it up and then boxing you out of getting any help. Unless you have hours of free time you would like to dedicate to making sure your bedding arrives and is correct, I'd shop elsewhere.

I ordered 4 items. One was delivered timely, but after two weeks not receiving any tracking information on the other items, I decided to reach out to Parachute. They have no customer service phone number, their call booking system only has availability weeks away and they do not respond to their email address. I was forced to use their online chat system.

Apparently, my order was "lost by the carrier" weeks ago. The agent said that in situations like these (which happen frequently), they don't automatically inform the customer items are no longer coming or provide a refund- it is entirely the customer's responsibility to navigate their labyrinth system and request a refund. Parachute knows they screw up orders, but purposefully relies on making it almost impossible for customers to get help so that they can keep your money without ever having to deliver.

I asked to speak to someone with decision-making authority about this, so I could be made whole. I was told that the only way to speak to someone is to wait for a manager to reach out to me in the next couple days. And then, assuming they reach out, which I have little confidence in based on my dealings with the Company, I then have to set up a separate later phone call - all hurdles designed specifically to get customers to give up so Parachute doesn't have to make things right.

How hard is it to let customers know if their items are no longer coming? Or for a customer to get on a phone call with someone to timely and effectively address issues instead of days' worth of run arounds? Apparently too hard for Parachute.

Terrible!!!!

Ordered a duvet cover on 12/13, and was charged on my credit card. As of 12/26, still shows pending and have not received any updates. As others on here state, there is ZERO customer service available. I have emailed twice with no response. Finally called local store and associate said he put in a request to shipping department. Still nothing. Am moving to another city in two weeks and am not confident I will ever see this order before we leave. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. TERRIBLE!!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM PARACHUTE!!!!!

Nonexistent Customer Service

Customer service is abysmal and/or nonexistent. I ordered a robe with plenty of time to arrive early for Christmas. They sent the wrong item (of a lower value) and have not responded to any emails informing them of their mistake. If you follow up on your email, they send an auto reply that threatens to move you to the back of the queue, which is insulting and laughable. I’m going to have to issue a chargeback since I have no faith they will send me the right item.
