Way too expensive for total crap quality
Have the Organic Cloud Cotton Quilt and couldn't be more disappointed. After just a month it was fraying all over the place. Now after having for a year it's gotten so frail it tares so easily. Don't waste your money and buy something much more affordable that you won't be upset if it doesn't last. The company also only lets you leave a review once you've received the email to leave a review and expires super fast. So don't trust the reviews on their site. Shady business and crapy products.
Absolute garbage products
Absolute garbage products. Their bedding materials fall apart after 2 years. The Dell laptops of linens. If you’re a dude buying this for your better half, literally look anywhere else.
Unfair Return Fees
I ordered a pair of slippers from Parachute. When they were delivered I did not like the quality. The terry cloth was shedding. Also, they did not fit well. I returned the slippers and $8 was deducted from my refund. I find this "fee" ridiculous and can't help but feel ripped off. When returning any item for any reason to Parachute if you do not live near one of the 6 stores in the U.S. you must send the return via mail or UPS and will always be charged the $8 fee. I wrote to Parachute about what I feel is an unfair charge but never heard back from them. I will not be shopping on their site again and advise others who are cost-conscious not to shop it as well.
I can’t leave a review on their product…
I can’t leave a review on their product website because they only give you a short time before the link expires. I’ve had their down alternative filled duvet cover for 2 years and have spent the last year trying to reshape the clumps into an even surface again by drying it with dryer balls then tennis balls. It’s sad I don’t want it to go into the landfil but this duvet did not last long at all and it seems there is no saving it. Waste of money and wasn’t cheap either.
Cheap bath towels and no chance to leave reviews on their website
I can’t leave a review on their website because the link they give you to write a review expires before you even have a chance to fully use their products. I made my first adult purchase on what I thought were nice bath and hand towels. They were their mosaic towels, which I loved the look of. They immediately shed little bits of fabric everywhere and I figured after a wash or two this would stop. Well after about two dozen washes they still shed! I can’t wipe my hands and then go to apply skincare to my face or body lotion because I have little balls of fabric all over my hands. Even worse than that is the color faded after a handful of washes! No longer are they a pretty sage and blue, but a bleached tan color. I’m so disappointed I spent so much money on these towels. My previous towels were from a Fred meyer grocery store, had no fading, and finally needed to be replaced after NINE YEARS because they started to smell mildewy. I guess luxury is a rip off.

Premium Prices, Budget Quality - Won't Stand Behind Defective Products
I've had TWO Parachute linen fitted sheets develop holes around the one-year mark - the second was a replacement for the first defective sheet. When I contacted customer service, they refused to help because my purchase was "beyond the warranty period." Their one-year warranty conveniently shields them from accountability for obvious quality control issues, and they deflected blame to my care routine despite my following all instructions. Two sheets failing the same way at the same timeframe is a manufacturing defect, not user error. My Target sheets have lasted years longer at a fraction of the cost. Parachute won't stand behind their products. I will not purchase from them again and cannot recommend them.

Poor Quality, Zero Accountability, and Mocking Customer Care
I bought Parachute’s linen sheets because they’re marketed as high-quality and long-lasting. After just two years of normal use, the fitted sheet became paper-thin and tore apart. When I contacted customer care, I was met with robotic replies thanking me for my “patience and understanding” -over and over again - even though there was nothing to be patient or understanding about. At times it felt like they were mocking me.
The supervisor simply repeated the same script, offered a token 20% discount, and refused to acknowledge the clear quality issue. For a brand that charges luxury prices and prides itself on craftsmanship, that response shows zero empathy and zero accountability.
If a sheet falls apart after two years, it’s not wear-and-tear, it’s poor quality. And Parachute’s customer service made it worse.
Overpriced, Fragile, and Protected by a Fake Review System
I spent a ridiculous amount on Parachute’s linen bedding thinking I was investing in something premium and long-lasting. Within months, the fabric thinned, frayed, and started to fall apart — not through misuse, but normal washing and wear. For a brand that charges top-shelf prices, the quality is shockingly poor.
The real insult is how impossible it is to leave an honest review. They only allow “verified purchase” reviews through a short email link that expires about a month after you get your order. By the time their products start failing, your chance to leave a public review is gone. That’s how they maintain pages full of glowing five-star reviews — they’ve built a system that quietly silences long-term feedback.
This is not a luxury brand. It’s a marketing company selling fragility disguised as quality. Save your money and buy from a company that stands by its products and doesn’t hide behind a PR wall.
Do not purchase the Cloud Cotton Robe
Do not purchase the Cloud Cotton Robe. I purchased it in Java and the color is awful-it has a tinge of green so looks like you're wearing a burlap bag the color of diarrhea. Also, it SHRUNK! I washed it once according to the instructions and it is so small and short now. I contacted the company. I couldn't even believe what they wrote back! I will cut and paste here: "Moreover, since we use a natural, small batch dye process (garment dye/wash) and don't use a chemical mordant (dye fixative), our products may differ slightly in color from dye batch to batch. This is not a defect, and we appreciate the subtle difference in colors." They actually wrote that THEY "appreciate" the color being not as advertised! They also go on about the "fit"- It has nothing to do with the original "fit"---it SHRANK after washing. The robe is soooooo UNFLATTERING! DO NOT BUY!
Worn paper thin and torn in 14 months!
I ordered a new fitted 100% linen sheet for my double bed in July of 2024. It was on sale but still cost almost $100. Less than one year later, the sheet began to wear thin in a couple of spots and just a few weeks ago holes appeared in both spots, one of which is now the size of my head! I contacted Parachute and they informed me that the sheets are "sadly" outside the warranty period. Even cheap sheets last longer than 14 months. I have never owned sheets that broke down so quickly. I will not ever order a product from Parachute again and I do NOT recommend them.
I purchased a sheet set from Parachute…
I purchased a sheet set from Parachute home and wish I had saved my money. They are so thin and within a year of owning them they all have runs and holes on them. Stay far away from this company, the quality is very poor for the price.
I spent $476 on king size linen bedding…
I spent $476 on king size linen bedding and it all fell apart within two years. The bottom sheet has several holes. The flat sheet has holes and two of the four pillow cases are coming apart at the seams. I reached out to Parachute customer service and apparently the warranty period is only one year, which is totally ridiculous since such expensive bedding should last several years if it's properly cared for. I've bought linen bedding from other companies before that lasted MUCH longer, so I won't be buying anything from Parachute again.
Liz to the Rescue!!
Hi, in January we purchased 4 sets of Turkish cotton towels, hand towels, and wash clothes. We Lov’m all!! Had a problem with one of the wash clothes and Liz was an amazing Help representative, very understanding and helpful. She resolved the problem quickly and Parachute has a happy customer!! Thank you!!
Really poor quality products
Really poor quality products. I bought the blanket and bathrobes based on their clever photoshoots and marketing on the website but the products are only good in pictures. They are also way over-priced and once you wash them, all defects show up with threads peeling off and completely beaten up.
Another company with atrocious handling of customer data
I bought one pair of sheets from Parachute in 2016. They were OK. I used them for a couple of years and then replaced them.
Despite expressing to their customer service at the time of purchase that I did not want to receive marketing or communications of any kind that was not related to my order, and them acknowledging receipt of that request, I started getting marketing anyway. So I had to waste more time telling them again to stop treating my personal contact info like a commodity.
The marketing would stop and then start again spontaneously. So again, in 2018 and in 2020 I had to ask them again to stop. I even asked them to delete me from their system. But of course Parachute Home, like many other online businesses, holds on to your data with a vice grip.
Today, NINE YEARS after my one purchase of sheets from Parachute Home, I got an e-mail asking me to "rate my purchase." Unbelievable.
It should be possible to buy goods without having to deal with this trampling of privacy and preferences. Parachute Home has not been professional or careful in their handling of my personal data. I would caution anyone about purchasing from them and, this horrid experience has made me into a never again customer.
Horrible customer service
Received our expensive, advertised as 100% Egyptian Cotton” sateen sheets. Labeled only 100% cotton. In less than 4 months they have pilled! Which means cheap short fiber cotton. Customer service number no longer exists (I wonder why). Only able to get customer service by going through the New York physical store. Sent in pictures and all they offer is 20% off new sheets. Like I would waste more money. They are deceptive with HORRIBLE customer service.
Missed the mark at every turn
Missed the mark at every turn. Bought a pillow and a cover, knew what I wanted, easy purchase.
Shipped cover separate from the pillow
Cover took a full week later to arrive.
Cover shipped was the wrong size, their upsell in checkout did not apply the correct size.
Customer service email is an AI bot.
After finally getting a human, had to drop off the return at UPS and told 14 days. before a refund.
Steer clear of these boneheads. They don't know how to run ecom. At the end of the day the products come from China, might as well buy it from anyone but these guys. Save yourself a headache.
Birthday Gift a BIG FLUB!
Bought a bathrobe for my husband.
Color nice, liked the material, but the fit was awful. We ordered medium. My husband is 5'10" and slim. The robe fit nothing like the picture. 3" above his knees, 3" above wrist bone and hardly had any overlap. It had a medium tag but looked like a childs small. He looked ridiculous. The fit was nothing like the picture. It was a birthday gift. Very disappointed
Linen fitted sheet shredding apart
Linen fitted sheet shredding apart. I placed an order for a linen sheet set from Parachute back in 2022 and used the sheets sporadically since I have other sets of linen sheets. However after following laundering instructions, the fitted sheet is literally tearing apart. Not recommended and when reaching out to customer service, just told that they have a year warranty although it is advertised as a product that should have a long lifespan is used according to their instructions. Crate and Barrel and west elm have much better quality linen sets than Parachute.
Good quality at super high prices
I bought one of the Venice sets using a discount code. The quality is very nice. My gut feeling is that it's a rip off though. I paid five times as much as Parachute than I would have at a big box store, when the quality is not five times better. It's better, but not as much as expected. It makes no difference to my sleep.
