The fact that I can telephone and speak to a call centre in Australia is great!! My customer service officer was approachable and helpful as well.

Our electricity was confirmed to be connected on 29/05. And it was not. After calling origin during business hours your consultant confirmed they would raise another request to have our power connected. Again it was not. We had fridges full of food valued at $500 as we were moving into our first home. We had no power for three days. This has forever dimmed our first home experience and our experience with origin.

You have more plans than Telstra mobiles!! I am an old codger who doesn't want to look at plans he doesn't understand. You keep records; why can't you look at mine and say this is the go! Making things complicated for a few bucks is no good for me.

I preferred being able to switch through email. Most providers use the phone but I find that hard to manage as I’m caring for grandchildren and phone contact for me happens at inconvenient times. This process was very easy and quick. Good follow up and confirmations.

I managed to speak to the same amazing consultant that sorted me out with solar 3 years ago. Aman was extremely helpful again and I chose to be with Origin again and am very happy. Aman is so genuine and real with his phone manor. This is wonderful for me and who ever is lucky enough to deal with him in the future.

Origin bill 6 months ago had a notification that one may be able to save money on another plan. It suggests that there may be a cost saving on Origin Go Variable plan. Checking prices on the web site stated, I found I am already being charged less so I ignored the offer. Today after getting a third bill with the same notification, I called Origin and found out that a better price was available but I actually had to call Origin to get it. The notification is very misleading.

however i have some reservations with origin with long standing customers who i have been with for some 11 years who do not enjoy any incentives to stay with the company in the near future due to the fact that their incentives are for new and moving customers to receive credit bonuses to encourage new business,why has this not been passed on to existing customers who are the backbone of origins current business infrastructure that have been loyal for so many years,and we continue to suffer annual price increases to substitute for new customers? summary:i would appreciate your feed back on this matter.

The comments were insulting. I was treated as if I am stupid. Some of the comments made by the Origin staff member were plainly incorrect. The AER does not control the Daily Supply charge so Origin can charge whatever they like with no consequences. The reduction in General Usage rates were not offset by the increase in the Daily Supply charge as claimed by Origin staff member. My bill will increase by 14.5% based on previous quarter bill usage.
