Awful

Awful ! Cheap fittings which slid about all over the place and didn’t lock in place - It kept falling out of the recess as it wouldn’t lock in - I didn’t pay the extra for insurance so couldn’t send it back - in the end I took it to the tip ! Waste of money !

Very happy with my blinds

The directions of how to measure for ordering was very clear and ensured my blinds were the right fit. I ordered the imitation wood Venetian blinds. The blinds are great but the online fitting instructions for the pelmet part of the blind did not show the same parts I had in the box. An email with photographs and a prompt and helpful reply back from Orderblinds enabled me to finish fitting the blinds.

They messed up the size got the lenth…

They messed up the size got the lenth and the width the wrong way round and then tried to say it was me that measured it wrong I highly doubt that seeing as I am a chippy by trade. Stay well away cost me over £80 for there mistake

Missing screws with the order

This is my third order from the company. The previous 2 orders arrived with the necessary screws to secure the corners of the blinds. The third order however didn't come with any screws.

I emailed them and they keep saying the blinds are not meant to come with screws as they're meant to be a pressure fit system, yet the previous 2 orders came with screws.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - we are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the lack of screws on your latest order.

The system was actually updated by the manufacturer earlier this year so that it uses a pressure fit system with no need for the additional screws, hence why we are no longer sending them. We have kept a small stock of the screws so would be able to send some to you if we have not done so already, please just let us know if this would be required.

Don't press in the blue retractor button on install!

Great original designs, good service timings delivery etc., Size worked and install good up to the point you are not warned about pressing the 'blue' retractor at one end which then seals itself and when trying to undo, finally falls out. Eventually got it all back and being VERY careful not to press in the button .. which makes it all work. Party my fault, should have been more careful. Nice blind.

Junglist Floral Roller Blind…

We are so pleased with our Junglist Floral Roller Blind, installed in our kitchen. Superb quality and gorgeous pattern, which is totally in keeping with the design of our home.. Because we chose Standard Light Filtering, at night, when it is rolled down, the blind looks like a painting.

Durable and good value!

I purchased some day and night electric blinds from these guys 4-5 years ago. I have since converted my apartment into an Air BnB. Unfortunately guests would often pull on the charger port, unaware the blinds were electric until one guest pulled so hard on it that it damaged the charge port.

I contacted the team at Orderblinds.co.uk. They offered a new version of electric motor where the charge cables were now hidden to prevent this event from occurring again. They also offered an attachment to revert back to manual. The new motor would still work with my original remote and system as I have two other blinds using this.

I decided to go for the manual option this time as I foresaw the issue happening again with it being an Air BnB. The process was really quick and easy to switch the old electric motor out and install the new manual device. The replacement only cost me £15 and was delivered the next day.

I spoke with Emily at customer services. She was even able to send me my original invoice from 5 years ago. Overall great service.

I just want to add the blinds were working completely fine 5 years on had it not have been for my guests damaging them themselves. Overall wear and tear was fine and I only charged them maybe 4 times in that period.

Best site for spring loaded roller blinds

Easy to use website and one of the few vendors of spring loaded roller blinds without a chain. I like that one can order loads of free samples which really helped with our eventual choice. Fast production and shipping too.

Perfect

Amazingly quick delivery and perfect result ! (Two sunscreen blinds fitted end-to-end on patio door/window) The only minor issue was that if I had asked for them to be 5 mm shorter, then fitting them in the recess would have been easier. But then I am 92!

Buyer beware.

Even though Order Blinds website clearly states that the 'luxury roller system: we will supply you with a smart 7cm tall aluminium cassette that hides the roll of fabric, the brackets and the blind mechanism.' it does no such thing. The end brackets hang well below 7 centimetres, let alone the roll. Extremely disappointing and utterly avoidable.

They offered to reverse the blind, leaving me without one for up to 5 working days (during the longest days of the year), which wouldn't solve the unsightliness and would let more light in.

They call the misleading information on their website an "aesthetic issue" and I finally agreed to their lame £32 compensation because after 2 weeks wasted trying to get them to see sense, they don't understand consumers or that they lied.

I very much regret purchasing a blind from this company.

Don't heed their response below - after two weeks, the false advertising remains on their website, and they have not tried hard to reach a just compensation. The use of the word 'reject' is amusing.

I will never buy from them again and will ensure everybody I know who is looking for blinds knows not to buy from a company that, even today, June 6, is still misleading consumers with untrue wording on their website.

EDIT: on June 7th - no less than two weeks into ownership - the motor stopped working. After initially forgetting all about a consumer's rights and expecting me to pay to return the faulty blind, the company eventually organised a collection for the faulty blind and a full refund. What a palaver and waste of time, money and energy.

We understand the importance of clear communication and customer satisfaction and would like to clarify the steps we’ve taken to resolve your concerns. The reason the blind and brackets are more visible is due to the installation height and the long drop of the blind, resulting in thicker fabric on the roller tube, and following your feedback though emails, we have already communicated with our marketing team to update the information on our website, as mentioned in our previous emails.

Since your initial complaint on May 26th, we have been working diligently to address the issue. Our Customer Service Manager was escalated your case on May 29th, and from the outset, we offered compensation and multiple resolutions for any inconvenience caused.

We proposed several solutions to meet your expectations including, re-rolling the blind to match your expectations. We believed this would resolve the issue, but you rejected this suggestion. We also proposed a partial refund if you chose to keep the blind as it is, which was also declined.

We then offered remaking the blind as per your suggestion with a reverse roll, which we believe would have also addressed your concerns. This offer was also rejected. However, your desire to keep the blind and receive a full refund or have blind remade and also receive a 50% refund, we didn’t think that this was a fair resolution.

After further discussion and raising the issue with our General Manager, we remained with our goodwill offers of either remaking the blind reverse roll, or a partial refund if you're happy to keep the blind as it is. We then also offered the solution of you returning the blind for a full refund upon inspection.

We value your feedback and are committed to improving our services. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your understanding.
