Summary:

- They do now tell you when the sale ends, so you will know if you have time to order samples (which is why they get a second star)
- Their Perfect Fit pleated blackout blind is indeed blackout, but there is enough bleed-through around the edges of the fabric (between the pleated section and the frame of the blind) that you will still need curtains.
- Same product (Perfect Fit pleated blinds) can be bought cheaper elsewhere, I won't return to these folks.
Details:
Bought a Perfect Fit pleated blind for my bedroom off the basis of the colours as shown and described on their website. The colour was listed as "Soft Sage", listed under "green" in their filters, and shown as a pale, warm green colour on the website on every device I viewed the site with. I did not order a sample as there was a significant sale on, and no indication of when the sale pricing would end, which put pressure on me to purchase swiftly. The blind was £108 with measurement insurance and shipping.
When the blind arrived, installation was straightforward, though definitely a two-person job. However, the blind was a greyish blue, and the manufacturer had named the colour "Astral Eucalyptus". I contacted Order Blinds as it seemed like a mistake had been made, but their customer service assured me that it was the correct colour, mailing me a sample to compare. After a lot of back and forth, they agreed to show the end of their sale pricing on the website in future to avoid this situation happening again since there are no refunds for the colour being wildly different from what was advertised on the site.
I would publish photos if I could because truly, there is no way I would call the blind I received green. It's a greyish blue colour in every light. They offered me £25 off a future order of over £100, but failed to tell me that it could not be used with other promotions, so when I went to use it with their Black Friday offer, I was unable to. By the time they issued me the £25 refund, I was completely done with them.
I won't order from them again as the product is cheaper elsewhere, and frankly, not a high enough quality to justify the price. There's so much light bleeding in around the edges of the fabric that I still had to put up curtains.
Great product, print quality is very good, and sized perfectly. Easy to follow instructions for installation. Very happy.

Compared to other online blind companies I have used in the past they were incredibly disappointing.
It’s less than clear unless you read the small print that the measurements will be reduced by up to 1.3cm.
The insurance cover at around £10 will still require you to pay to return the incorrectly measured blind (due to lack of clarity above) and you also need to pay around a further £10 to get the correctly sized blind.
My advice read the small print or avoid like the plague and go elsewhere.
Customer service contact was good but got me nowhere helpful.

As always excellent communication and quality.
Got a grip fit blind and it was a little bit of a faff to get installed but I got there in the end. The instructions given on the paper were not clear with how to deal with the adjustment block thing.
I also ordered a blind with left side control, but for some reason they sent me right side control. I don’t have time to return it and wait for a new one right now but I wish they got this correct from the beginning.
The blind itself is nice though. Overall I’d say 3.7/5 if I could be more specific for my own experience.
4.5/5 if I rate just the blind quality ignoring the incorrect control side
EDIT after business response: it seems the standard roll direction is for the blinds to be rolled to the side closest to the window. I had assumed otherwise and I wasn’t able to find any information on the website at the time to determine which way is which. I’m sure it’s there but I wasn’t able to find it while purchasing. On the bright side it can be switched if needed so shouldn’t be a huge problem if you did order the wrong way like I did.
I’ve also removed the section regarding the plastic thing, this isn’t a huge issue anyway once it’s installed. It’ll just be a pain to install as it may slip out while installing. You can just slip it back in and try again.
My overall experience will remain as 4 stars, which is by no means a poor rating, and would still recommend getting a blind with them should you be looking for one.

We ordered individual roller blinds for our patio doors. They look lovely but they have a mind of there own and constantly ping back up to the top. This wakes my dog up constantly during the night. I honestly wished I'd just stuck with curtains, they would have been much cheaper.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Order Blinds - Urgent Resolution Required
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding my recent order. Despite providing the correct measurements for the six blinds I purchased, I have thus far received only three, all of which are significantly shorter than the requested dimensions.
Upon discovering the issue, I immediately requested that the incorrect blinds be collected and replaced with others correctly fitted (as per my measurements). However, Order blinds team has been highly uncooperative in resolving this matter. Although I have provided the photos requested to prove the discrepancy, I continue to be asked for additional images without any clear indication of when the incorrect blinds will be collected or the replacements sent. I was then threatened that if I do not cooperate when I have been cooperating from inception of this issue, I could go to the insurance I acquired and pay for the return. I however question where are the terms and conditions of the insurance I bought as I have no details whatsoever. This is ridiculous and inadmissible!
I specifically ordered blackout blinds, with the exception of two intended for my kitchen. Unfortunately, the blinds delivered are not fit for purpose. It appears that this company has provided insufficient fabric and a shorter system in an attempt to cut costs, leaving me with products that do not meet the standards advertised (fit for purpose not 1/5 less of each windows).
This service has been unacceptable, and I am frustrated with the lack of timely resolution. If I do not receive the correct blinds by October 1st, 2024—the date specified in our contract—I will be left with no choice but to pursue legal action. I will file a claim with the Small Claims Court for breach of contract, negligence, and violations of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Additionally, I will seek a full refund and compensation for the distress and wasted time this situation has caused.
Had I been informed that your blinds are consistently 3 to 5 cm shorter than advertised, I would have made my purchase elsewhere, at a physical store with standard measurements. this would have cost me less and would not be on this situation of having lost circa of £640 with 3 defective blinds.
I therefore urge a response from OrderBlinds.co.uk to resolve this matter promptly and professionally to avoid further escalation.

They are lovely quality, but sadly the picture on the website is totally different colour to reality and no refunds, so I either bin them or have to revamp my room to suit them - costly either way.
Read the blurb to be sure the write up matches the picture
Good order process, Good product and as advertised. Struggled a bit with securing my non-screw in roller blind on shiny bathroom tiles but fixed this by putting non slip tape either side. Very good with after sales when I needed a couple of extra parts to suit my installation. Recommended.
