Took ICS4U here and the teacher was amazing, and the whole process was just smoothing with no problems at any point! Grading, answering and everything was done super quickly (within 3 days!) and the staff and teachers are super kind! I loved how it had never felt stressful and was able to help me manage my time with my other in person courses! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone because this was an absolutely amazing addition to my high school journey!

I recently completed the International Business (BBB4M) course with OVS, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The learning materials and video lessons were high-quality, clear, and easy to follow, making complex global business concepts simple to understand.

The assessments had a great variety, it wasn't just repetitive multiple-choice tests. This allowed me to actually apply what I was learning through interesting assignments. There were absolutely no hidden fees and everything was transparent right from registration.

The administrative support was seamless, especially when it came to processing my report cards and getting them sent out quickly. My teacher was also incredibly reliable, always returning marked work with helpful feedback and responding to my emails within 24 hours. I completed the MCV4U course through Ontario Virtual School, and it was one of the best academic decisions I have made. OVS gave me the flexibility to balance my responsibilities outside of school while still delivering a thorough and engaging learning experience comparable to an in-person classroom. My experience with OVS was wonderful! I had an amazing time navigating through the website as it is full with resources and easily accessible. I took ENG4U through OVS for university. I was looking to maintain a high 90 average for my midterms. The layout of the course makes it easy for you to go through lessons, access resources, and submit work. The teachers are very kind and helpful. All the lessons taught are informative and in a structured manner, the marking was always returned in less than 3 days, and the teachers are super helpful if you are struggling with anything! I took grade 12 calculus, and it was a 10/10 experience would definitely recommend it to others.

I just completed MHF4U (Advanced Functions) through Ontario Virtual School and had an excellent experience. The course materials were clear, well-organized, and easy to follow, making it simple to learn at my own pace. The lessons were thorough and easy to follow.

I appreciated the variety of assessments. The course included more than just multiple-choice questions, allowing me to test my understanding in different ways. Feedback on assignments was also detailed and helpful, and marked work was returned very quickly and efficiently.

I took calculus and vectors with ovs as it was a prerequisite needed for my university program. I decided to take calculus online so I can better manage my time with my other science courses. There were zero hidden fees, and it was such an easy process to sign up. The teacher was great at answering questions, and the tests were marked very fast (1-2 days usually). They also added my course mark directly to ouac so it could be sent out to my universities. Overall, it was a great experience for me and definitely helped me out with grade 12. I totally recommend if you need any university credits!

Unreliable, support does not care about urgent requests - they just tell you to piss off

My experience as a grade 12 student graduating this year was really great at this school. I took calculus and vectors and the format of the lessons were amazingly organized, the videos explained material in great detail and the practice questions were great at preparing for tests. The admins give out notices in advance for any deadlines or report card processing which was really helpful to me to stay on top of studies and meeting ouac conditions. Overall, I loved my experience with Ontario Virtual Highschool and would recommend it to all students!!

I had a great experience with OVS. There was plenty of support from my teacher and the admin. The work assigned was thought provoking and work was returned very fast. One note is to provide the reminders regarding course work being due(the exam) a little earlier to provide adequate time.

I was struggling in my day school's Calculus class, mainly due to the fact that I had a teacher who wasn't very helpful when it came to adapting to my learning styles. Through OVS, all those struggles went away. It is very straight forward, all the lessons are clear, and it is a very fair system for all; everyone gets to learn using proper in depth lesssons. Not to mention, all the resources and opportunities OVS give you with extra practice, tutoring, etc. is truly so helpful in improving someones understanding on a topic. OVS has been so kind to me while learning, and always so helpful with learning. With such a strong support system like this, I see the future of education being OVS.

My name is Marcellinus and I took MHF4U-31 course through OVS and it was an excellent experience. The program ran very smoothly, I had no complications with any lessons or submitting work. The returning process of grades was great and quick. Also the report card process was very smooth and if you do have any complications there are a great admin team to support you.

I recently completed Grade 12 Nutrition and Health with OVS and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The quality of the lessons were outstanding. Each lesson had very in depth videos and learning materials that made the content very easy to understand and follow. Whenever I had questions, my teacher was always available to provide support and clarification. One thing I really appreciated was the communication. My teacher typically responded to emails in less than 24 hours and marked assignments/tests were returned very quickly within 24 hours with detailed, positive and helpful feedback that allowed me to improve throughout the course. There were no hidden fees and the entire process was straightforward and well organized. The assessments were varied and allowed me to demonstrate my understanding in many ways. Overall, OVS provided a flexible, supportive and high quality learning experience. I would highly recommend OVS to any student looking for a reliable and effective online learning option!

Hi my name is Viona, and I did the online grade 12 University Families in Canada class. I had a great experience, the lessons were very easy to follow and well detailed which helped prepare me for assignments and tests. I also had a great teacher who was very helpful with any questions I had.

Experiencing online academic english for the grade eleven year alongside all of my other responsibilities and classes was extremely easy as OVS allowed a whole year for me to get the course contents done so it was never attempting to remove my focus from the fast paced in person school classes. I was able to get a 98% on my midterms and a 95% final mark, bringing it up from my previous 56% when done in person. To all the haters, I got a modest 82% in the in person Grade 12 Academic English at my day school, and I believe the reason my in person grade 11 English was so bad is that day school English is a very subjective course and depends heavily on the types of content your specific teacher decides to cover. I enjoyed the OVS course because it was the same for every other student and your teachers didn’t have the power of choosing which content to cover and/or how to weigh each task as that was already fairly predetermined by the amazing administrative team at OVS.

I’m Abrar, and I recently completed the Advanced Functions course MHF4U. I think OVS is a great platform for people who are interested in online education and their easy to use operating software makes it much easier to learn remotely. The lessons are in depth and the practice feature allows for experience working with the problems coming on the test. The teachers are also well taught and explain your mistakes and offer corrections. Overall, I would definitely recommend OVS to students looking for online learning.
