Registered for OVS grade 12 university prep Calculus, safe to say I had an amazing experience. The professor graded all work quicker than expected, the lessons were clear, the tests were structured amazingly, and the website was easy to navigate, overall 10/10 experience and I have already recommended it to others.

Horrible ripoff of a place they don't give a crap about you only want to take your money and run. Numerous attempts to get a hold of teachers and support staff and no replies back. Daughter had serious medical conditions which put her out of commission for a couple weeks and not once did they answer the phone or emails sent to them. One grand down the toilet for two classes that she ended up not even needing as they cancelled the program at the college. A TOTAL SCAM!!!

I complete sch4u through ovs and the experience was amazing. the website is designed thoughtfully and extremely easy to navigate. tests can be done whenever you want and you feel alot more comfortable learning at your own pace. the teachers instructional videos are also amazing and are planned well, easy to follow and learn as u go.

I took families in Canada (HHS4U) with ovs and it was an amazing experience as the lessons were very detailed and easy to understand and the teacher responds to questions really fast 1-2 days max. All assignments were also marked really fast too I usually got my marks back for all assignments the next day. I highly recommend ovs if you are looking for a credit as it is very helpful.

The teacher was very understanding and always responded promptly to any questions or concerns I had. They made me feel acknowledged and supported, which helped build my confidence and improve my skills throughout the course.

Teachers were very responsive and the asynchronous learning style made it easy to juggle with my other school work. I had Mr. Ford who is a dedicated teacher and wishes the best for his students by helping promote success.
What you see is what you get - the process is very straightforward with no hidden fees.

My teacher responded to my emails quickly and everything was submitted to OUAC on time and smoothly. The whole process was seamless, which was so important to me as a grade 12 student applying to universities. Lessons are clear and informative with tons of support available to answer questions and doubts. There were no hidden fees. The tests had a variety of questions such as multiple choice, word problems, and graphing. Finished with a 97 in grade 12 advanced functions and would highly recommend ovs!

I highly recommend Ontario Virtual School. I just finished taking MCV4U (Calculus and vectors) and had an amazing experience. The course materials and lessons are exceptionally high quality and theyre well structured. There are no hidden fees at all, and the assessments offer a great variety rather than just relying on multiple choice answers.

What stood out to me the most was the support system. the admin team processed my report cards very quickly, and my teacher was incredibly responsive, always returning marked work and replying to emails quickly and considerately. Thank you for a great semester, OVS!

I have taken 3 courses with OVS so far and it is easy to say that this is the best online option ever for all students!! The teachers are very helpful and even if it’s online, they really help you throughout the course. The formatting of the lessons are super easy to understand and the website itself is very easy to navigate. Everything gets uploaded to OUAC within hours and any questions you may have get answered within the same day!! I truly cannot hype them enough. It was one of the best experiences of my high school years. I would choose OVS over and over again if I had to!! I wanted to mention Mrs. Da Cruz specifically who was my teacher for Grade 12. Challenge and Change in Society course. She is incredible in every aspect and is genuinely the best teacher! Her thoughtful feedbacks
and clear answers made the course so much better!! I am very glad to have taken a place in her class. I am forever grateful to the OVS team and Mrs. Da Cruz.

I had a great experience with Ontario Virtual School while taking HFA4U. The course was well organized, the lessons were clear, and the assessments were varied and engaging.

I took Grade 12 Biology (SBI4U-18) with OVS and I had a positive experience. The lessons were easy to follow and had detailed information, although I found that some of the questions on the test were not taught in the lessons. There were helpful resources such as practice questions and tests. While they greatly aided my comprehension and preparation for tests, I found the written responses in the answer keys lacked detail.
My teacher, Ms. Miller, was wonderful and would respond to my emails quickly with well-written responses. In addition, my assignments were returned quickly and the teacher always included thorough feedback.

OVS was an amazing opportunity for me because it allowed me to take improve my knowledge and overall average in Advanced Functions. I would definitely recommend taking courses on OVS because it helps organize a students time for efficiently. The teachers and administration are very kind and helpful and that factor definitely made my experience even better!

The lessons are super detailed and very easy to follow, the assignments given for each unit had offered lots of opportunities to test strengths, so that I was prepared for the tests. Admin was very supportive and report card processing was very quick. Email response from teachers was great and in a timely manner along with the marking. Would highly recommend.

I took english grade 12 university level this semester, I found the course interesting and challenging, and easy to navigate. My teacher was incredibly helpful, and responsive. I highly recommend OVS

I took OVS advanced functions, and though ideally, math should be taken in person, I had a scheduling conflict at my school that prevented me from doing so. I signed up with OVS so I could get the credit that I needed for my university. I found the lessons I was doing helpful and easy to understand. It helps that there are practice quizzes at the end of most lessons, and if I got something wrong, I would go back and review the lesson! I also found it helpful that I could see a couple of practice tests before completing a Unit test, so I could get a sense of what the questions were like. There are no hidden fees; you get what you pay for! Not to mention that you have a teacher on standby to answer any questions you might have via email, or even scheduling one-on-one tutoring with your teacher, which I found to be amazing that there could be so much support! Don't hesitate to contact OVS at their phone number if you have any questions. I definitely have called them a bunch of times when I had questions, and they were always clear and efficient! I would also say, if you are taking this for university, make sure you pay attention to the deadlines universities have for midterms and exams. OVS will remind you that they have deadlines to mark everything so it reaches OUAC and your school on time.
To receive your tests back, it will take around 1-3 days, and the same applies to an exam! Overall, I loved taking advanced functions through OVS, and I am so glad I did! Thank you to the OVS team and my teacher for being so helpful!

Being able to do the work whenever was the most help full pair of ovs. Another thing I really loved was the draft feed back part, if there were mistakes you didn't see yourself the teacher can fix it before the final submission instead of having someone else to proofread. I can't say there is anything bad about ovs, just make sure if you are in grade 12 you are able to your ouac mark on there before the deadline.

I had a great experience overall when I took SCH4U (Grade 12 Chemistry). The course was well organized and easy to follow, and I was able to work at my own pace. There were no hidden fees, and the registration process was also straightforward.

One of the highlights of the course was my teacher, Ms. Chevalier. She was very responsive to questions, provided detailed and helpful feedback on assignments and tests, marked work, and responded to emails very quickly. Her feedback helped me understand my mistakes and improve on future tests and labs.

I also liked the variety of assessments, including the mini quizzes at the end of lessons and the labs throughout the course, instead of it all being multiple choice. My final mark was processed very quickly, and the admin support was efficient whenever I needed help. Overall, 10/10, I would definitely recommend OVS to anyone looking to take a course online. It was a great experience from start to finish. Good luck to you all considering it!

Great lessons great experience and organized lessons

Super simple and great way to learn and catch up on missing credits

Took ICS4U here and the teacher was amazing, and the whole process was just smoothing with no problems at any point! Grading, answering and everything was done super quickly (within 3 days!) and the staff and teachers are super kind! I loved how it had never felt stressful and was able to help me manage my time with my other in person courses! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone because this was an absolutely amazing addition to my high school journey!
