If you have poor credit, please read!

Onstride is advertised to appeal to people with poor credit but be warned, if you have poor credit DO NOT APPLY!
Don't be fooled by the expert's review or other user reviews. If you have poor credit, even though they promise to consider you it is all a lie.
Your application is put through an automated system which will let you know in seconds by analysing your credit history whether you are eligible. I made an application in the middle of the night and was refused in about 5 seconds without someone actually going through my application. The application process itself is simple but too general. You do not get the option of adding alternative sources of income in addition to full time employment and your outgoings are estimated. For example, if you pay £20 a month, it doesn't let you enter that amount. Instead you choose an option of £0-100 which is ridiculous considering the automated system will not be able to know which end of the spectrum you are leaning towards.

This review is purely for people with poor credit regardless of whether you are in full time employment and not riddled with debt. If you don't believe me, read all the reviews and see how many people with poor credit successfully got a loan with Onstride. I should have taken note then.

If you have good credit, then you can proceed with your application but then again, why would you need an unsecured loan at a high APR with good credit when you can get better deals elsewhere?

Terrible, Declined my application for no reason

After initially approving me subject to me sending my bank statement to them, they sent me an email at late o clock saying my loan application was declined, even though they told me on phone it was initially approved.
total waste of time, very disappointed, rude americans on phone, stay clear away from this garbage company.

Excellent & Highly Recommend

Easy online application, approved within 2 days over a bank holidays weekend. Great loan rates and friendly staff would recommend to anyone rejected by the major banks.

Mostly fine

Great service after sending my info off had the money with 48 hours. Only problem I have had since I got a new card they haven't been able to update my details. I have moved home since I first had the money and that updated fine but since I got my new card nothing but problems. Last month even though I had tried to tell them I had a new card they tried my old one and had to spend half an hour on the phone talking somebody who could try and make the payment. Finally sorted it and now this month the exact same problem again except this time they can't seem to take it. Problem on their end as they managed it last month but can't this month. Apart from that five star service

Declined

Wanted to consolidate my current credit and site appeared welcoming .However despite being in full time employment for over 25 years and with same bank for same amount of time still declined .Company appears to go against what it says in its own literature.
