Please do not use this company

Please do not use this company. After entering a DRO, due to unforeseen circumstances, over two years ago this company previously named pounds to pocket continued to chase me for debt contacting me constantly for monies owed. After forwarding on a copy of the DRO they ceased contact for over a year and a half. Earlier this year they changed the company name to on stride financial and have recently contacted me stating I owe them money and it has to be paid. They also included third party debt collectors again (which were also named in the DRO) this is a breach of a court order which states the monies owed is wrote off and they can not chase me for this. I phoned to clear this up and was met with a very rude American man who proceeded to tell me that i hadn’t been sent the email stating the debt and I was wrong and that he needed to speak to their legal team (which he didn’t follow up on) after 20 minutes on the phone he provided me with a non existent email address where I needed to send evidence of the DRO statement. Effectively trying to leave this matter unresolved so they can proceed to harass me for a non existent debt.

no issues as yet

Got to give it a 5 star at the moment applied online (messing about) said I’d been approved, within 20mins checked my bank and £600 was there, haven’t missed a fortnightly payment, have 4 weeks left and then we’ll see if any badness comes.

F... this company

F... this company. Approved me for 500 loan and then asked for UK issued ID. But when I said I don't have one they denied my loan. Like there are only English people living in UK. F...... discrimination.

All positive......

Having used this company twice, I can't fault the financial help I needed at the time, I have a poor history so expected his interest rates. Having said this, it's also helped massively on the credit score. Customer service always helpful, fca registered so you do have options if things go wrong, but generally I wouldn't hessite using them again in the future. Ps paid loan back early without any issue, if you can boost payments, it does save huge amounts hope this helps the next person! Thank you On Stride

Worst loan company ever

Worst loan company ever. Wouldn’t give consideration to customers who are wanting to pay their loan off early but couldn’t get in touch with anyone so the interest got higher and higher. Poor service

Issue with changing pay date

I was told I chose the last working day as payment date but in March when set up because there's 30 days, I can't change to 31st. So I'm getting charged unless I send in proof.

I've been on the website and the option isn't working for "last working day" they are really unhelpful and argumentative. I expressed my dissatisfaction but they didn't log this.

Use another company, I really don't recommend onstride.

Now been waiting 5 days for any communication. Called and after an age to get someone on the phone. Only for them to say my I.D. had been sent the to relevant department and the would be in contact. 3 days later and still nothing. What a waste of time.

Thia company took over my loan from pounds 2 pocket. I have paid every month for the past 6 months and for the past 2 months they have not reduced my balance. I owe circa 250 and they are adamant I owe 500.
Complaint issued against the former company but a further complaint now to be issued for them not reducing my balance to the correct one. All payment can be proven. Avoid !!!!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service rang up as having difficulty making a payment although have previously made three payments. Offered a month holiday break then after agreed said no we cannot do it and wouldn’t give an explanation as to why. Couldn’t answer any of my questions. I said if someone in financial difficulties they have to help with a resolution he said basically go away.

Day one I've asked to pay an additional payment of £50, so I can get my loan number going down. I got a confirmation that that was added to my current bill, all done and dusted. A few hours I saw a pending transaction for double the payment I was due to pay.
Day two, called customer service, the agent didn't believe me and said that she'd have to listen to the call but a manager will give me a callback. 6 hours later no updated, called back, and I literally spoke with the worst possible human being. He kept on talking over me, telling me that I don't understand my own contract and started even raising his voice at me. I've asked for a manager to call me back. Also sent an email and got a call from someone call Andy, who somehow was the nicest person who managed to look into everything, gave me an answer and proceeded a refund with 60 mins. I'd give Andy 5 stars as he really handled everything in a very professional way, but overall experience was that great.

Cant pay that early!

So me and my partner took up a loan of 300 as we had a last minite bill with the car. So we took the loan on Saturday and today (Tuesday) my partner called to pay bck the whole amount. Well we couldnt pay it today! Only next Monday where they are charging us more! How do these companies get away with this??? Surely if we can pay earlier we should be able to?? Oh no...wait...this way they can charge you more because its more days that your loan is adding up APR... NOT HAPPY!
