OMC Gear was very helpful on the phone. My order came quickly and the boots were right. I had never heard of OMC Gear until my search for these boots in my size (small and hard to find). I am delighted to have found it.

I have dealt with omc since the 90s..i really like their downtown location.. they have embrace the medium of the internet which extremely important and helpful..I have always admired their customer service and their expert knowlege..I have been climbing and backpacking for years and their philosophy and knowlege mirrors mine.. It was my husband 30th birthday and all he wanted was new climbing shoes. He had been checking them out weeks leading up and my original gift fell through so I went online and ordered these shoes. I paid for overnight shipping ($20) since it was 3 days before his birthday just to make sure I would get them in time. They had 1 in stock and I thought I won the lottery!

Getting a little nervous because I didn't get the shipping confirmation the next day. I called and left a message that morning to make sure that they would be shipped out that day. I didn't get a call back so the second day I was frustrated because I should have had his gift the day before. I called again and this time got through. I gave the store employee my information and he placed me on hold. He was very pleasant. He got back on the phone and told me that the shipping department was just about to call me to tell me they don't have these shoes in stock at all.
You can imagine my frustration if they would have called me that day I ordered them or even the next day I would have been understanding but to wait almost 3 days to tell me they didn’t have them and to have me pay for overnight shipping. I was pretty disappointed but at least the employee was nice.

I bought these boots as I was told they run narrow. I have a very narrow foot and have had a hard time finding boots that fit. I have had several other brands the last few years and ended up trading them back to the local ski shop. The other brands were to wide and caused way to many blisters. I have skied on these boots the last couple of month and finally have found a pair that fits. I found as well as being narrow they run a little small. I ordered a 40.5 and have a 8.5 shoe size. So far they are a great fit and I am very happy with them.

Great packaging and fast delivery by Omcgear of my new Mountain Hardwear Ogama 32-liter black backpack. Just what I wanted.
I was listed as the only one remaining in this color and I received it.
When I went back to the website to check on available colors, it did not show black as available after I made the purchase which means they have a good inventory website control system in place.
It's exactly what I was hoping it would be with manufacture usage instruction and item description tags attached and secured inside a protective clear plastic bag inside the proper sized shipping box.
Couldn't be more please with the fast and prompt delivery and the very high and useful quality of this backpack.
I'm six foot and 195 lbs and this is a perfect fitting backpack for me.
So happy I found Omcgear on a web search for highly rated outdoor gear websites.

I've attempted to orders with OMCgear. Both orders were cancelled by seller for lack of stock on hand after zero communication for several days. One of these cancelled orders was during the Xmas Holidays and the lack of communication on the cancelled order caused me to pay a much higher price somewhere else to have the gift rushed to me. I will never buy from this company again because in the competitive world of online retail it is a clown show.

I came across OMC when I worked in Oregon for a few years (I have since retired and moved home to the blessed splendor of the Mother country, aka Montana). OMC had the best prices on some backpacking equipment that I needed, and thus, our relationship began. Even though I am now home in MT, my last order arrived at my door within two days! Way to go! I would happily do business with OMC again.

I felt as thought OMC gear website was easy to navigate, i found exactly what I was looking for quickly and at a good price, and the delivery speed was great and the product came just as expected. no complaints.
