We have indeed received the requested documents but we are not able to respond favorably to your account opening.

We are not authorized to comment publicy our decisions.

As an ACPR, CSSF accredited payment institution, we are sometimes required to take this kind of decision when our client activities or operations do not allow us to meet our legal
obligations.

The support is abysmall

The support is abysmall, and they hide their incompetence behind legal requirements.
Asking them the basis for those requirements brings nothing, documents are not opened or checked and returned as if they are not provided.

They answer 1 email per day, which means the process takes weeks before you get a decent answer.

The initial time you have to get things done are around 2 weeks, after that, they simply block the account, without any warning.

I have been trying to get answers from them and it is now weeks that they are stalling and claiming that the documents were not provided.

Additionally they seems to have a data leak as I am presented with the account of SERMA INVESTMENTS SA, a company I am not accustomed with.

Documents after documents and account still blocked

It has been 10 months since I openned my account at Olky and they decided to freeze the account in September last year under the reason that we needed to provide more documents. We understand the process so we send all the requested documents. However, they kept asking for the same documents over and over again.
Now, we have 10k blocked and we can't use the money to run our Non-profit association. It's unbelievable that they still do this in 2023. The account is frozen, however, when our members send their money, Olky gladly accepts it in the account. But when we need to use it, it's frozen.
Also, we requested the card 2 times since the account openning and never got anything.... We will definitely contact our Lawyer in Luxembourg because we need the funds. It's not even funny anymore...
And by the way, Mr Customer Service that answers all the reviews, a standard answer does not help anyone to solve anything.

It was actually the fastest way for us…

It was actually the fastest way for us to open our bank account in Luxembourg.The procedure took about a month . In the Netherlands this would have all 2 days .

A lot of documents needed which is normal because the anti money laundering policies but it would be a lot better to be able to know with who we are discussing during the procedure.

Every time we had an email response by the support no name of the support agent was provided and it was difficulty for us to trust the procedure and where we will trust our money.

Some answers were in English some in French so you can understand that you don’t speak for your matter with the same agent.

Apart from this I believe if this service keeps evolving and upgrading its support then it will become the easiest way to start up in Luxembourg. The big banks really seem to not care about small companies.

How can we communicate with Olkypay about our situation? There is no phone number, social media web pages don't answer.

Lack of basic professionalism and customer service

Like many other customers, we have experienced Olkypay's lack of professionalism and customer service. They are truly horrendous! Our investor who we thankfully, still, have a great relationship with deposited a significant amount of funds which we are aiming to use to build our process plants. We have been open and willing to cooperate, providing Olkypay with all relevant documents, but they have chosen to block the funds and refused to communicate (it's been well over 4 weeks now and we are becoming suspicious). They are a hindrance and nuisance and stifling our innovation. If you are an SME with any ambition do not bother opening an account with them!
