They are just stealing people's money at this point. Similar to all the other reviews, ordered trainers as a christmas present and yodel did not deliver the package and have no idea where it is. Office now wont refund my money and are impossible to contact. Been emailing for weeks and they continually refuse to refund but cannot say where the order is.
Completely useless
Truly awful experience with these guys. Do not buy from them. They are impossible to contact, there's no phone number just live chat, which doesn't seem to be live as I've been waiting over an hour for a response. They also use the absolute worst courier firm for their deliveries (Yodel). Leave well alone if you value your sanity and your money.

Avoid at all cost
I am very unhappy with my experience with Office Shoes. I placed an order expecting timely delivery, but I never received my parcel which was in fact a present for my 82 grandfather. What’s worse, the communication has been terrible — no updates, no clear explanation, and no helpful support. I’ve been left waiting with no product and no resolution.
I have sent email after email with several different ticket numbers but feel like I am constantly being dismissed completely and ignored by the retailer.
For a company of this size, I expected much better service. This has been incredibly frustrating, and I won’t be ordering from Office Shoes again unless they seriously improve their delivery process and customer support.
I would really appreciate if the retailer would get back to me, as I have paid for goods that I have not received, so I would hope that they would come up with a solution if they want to gain my custom again.
Hopefully they can come to an arrangement of either a refund or a replacement as this matter has highly stressed me out especially at this time of the year as I stated earlier it was a present. I would be grateful if someone could contact me ASAP about this matter.

Avoid Buying Online – Terrible Customer Service and No Accountability
I ordered a pair of Dr. Martens Chelsea Boots from Office on the 20th of November, expecting delivery within 3–5 working days. According to Yodel, the parcel was “delivered” on the 25th of November, but when I went to collect it, there was nothing there.
I raised the issue with Yodel, who, after a few phone calls, advised me to request a refund from Office as the parcel was either stolen or lost. And that’s where the real nightmare began. As others have said, Office’s customer service is appalling. There is no phone number to call, and the only options are a chatbot-style live chat or email. If you do manage to get a human on chat, they simply repeat scripted answers no matter what you ask.
Their policy is to open an “investigation” with Yodel and make you wait 48 hours. After that, I was told I’d need to wait up to 10 working days for their claims department to email me a form. The entire process is unnecessarily long and clearly goes against the Consumer Rights Act 2015. As a customer, you’re trapped in their red tape while they delay taking responsibility.
I hope I eventually get my refund, but in the meantime I’ll be seeking advice from Citizens Advice.

Shoes arrived grubby with marks and fingerprints. I think I was sent shoes that were tried on on multiple occasions. I asked to return them to store but was refused as I had ordered them online. However, if I wanted to send them back I would have to pay postage myself. I thought this was very unfair.
Poor customer service
Trainers not delivered in stated time, courier used is Yodel who state they have my goods but that’s about it, no updates. Their given delivery date come and gone too. Impossible to get in touch with either company. Office have Chat but that’s was just a complete waste of my time. Won’t use again, really bad service.
Office does not refund faulty goods within 14 days - illegal
I bought a pair of Alara Kitten Heels (£44.99) on 19 Oct 2025 and collected them on the 22nd. After just one wear, the heel tip rotated completely out of place — a clear manufacturing fault. When I returned to the Milton Keynes store, the staff were rude and dismissive, accusing me of wearing them “more than once” and claiming the boots would be “sent for testing to see how many times I have worn this,” without explaining what that meant as there is no way this can be tested for this.
I’ve now lost both the boots and my money, with no timescale or communication. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I’m entitled to a refund for faulty goods within 30 days, yet this has been ignored. Very disappointing experience from a company I expected better from.

As others have mentioned. No customer service at all. The worst chat service in existence. How can a large company operate where customers cannot contact them when there is a problem with the order? Will never use again and would advise others not to.

Abysmal none existent customer service. My parcel is missing. They state they have spoken to yodel who said it was delivered. I have now emailed the ceo but I am not hopeful I will get an appropriate resolution after reading these reviews. Avoid.
Awful customer service
I ordered boots back at the beginning of September. I had to rearrange the delivery date with yodel as I was going to be out on the set delivery date. Yodel then failed to deliver it on the rescheduled day and lost my parcel. I was told to contact office an it’s been impossible to get a hold of them. Every time you go through chat, as soon as you put your email it says it’s unavailable. The only other way to contact them is through email which is super delayed. Every time you try to reply to their email address once they send one, it bounces back and you have to start a new thread. It is beyond frustrating! I’ve requested a refund and still don’t have it, over a month later. I just want my money back!!
Poor service
Wish I had read reviews before I ordered. For some reason company’s like Office insist on using Yodel even though they are useless. You can not ring Office, it says they have live chat but it’s always unavailable and they takes ages to respond via email. My parcel went missing for 9 days and not a single person got in contact it was me chasing everything. I would not order online from them again personally.

This is the worst experience I have ever encountered with an online delivery. I would have given 0 stars if I could. I ordered my shoes through a shop in London as my size was not in stock on September 14th. I was told that they would be delivered on Tuesday. I received a confirmation from yodel that they were on their way but they did not get delivered and I started chasing Office. I was told I needed to wait 48 hrs. 48 hrs came and went and I heard nothing. I continued to chase to hear that investigation would take longer. I then chased on a daily basis and then was advised that the item was lost and I would get a replacement pair sent to my house. It then took over week to finally get my shoes - I received them yesterday on the 6th October which over 3 weeks from when I ordered them in the beginning. The customer service repeat the same response and are not interested in resolving the issue. If I didn’t keep on chasing, I don’t think I would have my shoes yet. I have to say, the service at Office was the worst that I have ever experienced. I have asked for this to be escalated to head of customer services and until now, nothing has been done and furthermore I have not received any compensation. Terrible customer service. Unable to speak to anyone on the phone and have to rely on email, chat or Facebook messenger which is unreliable. One pairs of shoes I ordered was missing from my parcel. Office say they have investigated and closed it without issuing me a refund or exclaiming their findings. Basically accusing me of lying even though I have a photo of delivery which shows a smaller parcel than expected. Will never use again.
Ordered two pairs of Birkenstocks
Ordered two pairs of Birkenstocks. One pair came with a completely smashed box, the other pair was broken. Both had been worn. Returned them via yodel and the items were never delivered back to office. I have all evidence of returning the parcels and a refund was ‘processed’ via email correspondence but I am yet to receive the refund of over £140!!

After years of shopping with Office, I’ve been left completely let down by their shocking customer service.
I was sent the wrong size item and returned it at my own expense, expecting a simple exchange. Instead, I received a refund with no explanation or replacement. To make matters worse, the item had gone up in price when I tried to reorder, and Office flat-out refused to honour the original price — despite the mistake being entirely on their end. I'm now out of pocket and without the item I initially ordered.
The customer service agent I spoke to via live chat (Diedre) was completely unhelpful and, to top it off, abruptly closed the chat before the issue was resolved. Zero accountability, zero care.
This was not just poor service — it was unacceptable. A complete lack of responsibility for their own error, and a total disregard for customer loyalty. Sadly, this experience has completely ruined my trust in Office.
Totally incompetent with delivery
Never had a problem with Office before but totally at my wits end on this one. Ordered trainers for my daughter almost two weeks ago but they have yet to be delivered.
Yodel refuse to leave them (on the instruction of Office) in the secure lobby of my apartment, they say they will try another flat but my neighbours, who were both at home, had no attempt at a delivery, and they won't redirect to my work address.
Contacted the 'help' email to explain all of this but they just respond with 'update your tracking.'
