Scam artists - keep debiting my account and find it impossible to get a straight answer - I respond with the information they need and they then close the case - absolutely useless, now owed at least 4 months refund
Paid for sport to watch tennis
Paid for sport to watch tennis. But no full replays were available. Interface also not user friendly.
I have had the worst experience with phone operating staff, engineers, everyone involved
I have had the worst experience with Now tv I will be leaving a terrible review. I have been spoken to terribly by your HD manager, lied to and refused compensation for two months of broken WiFi after being charged 45£ a month. We have had people come to fix it but not making any difference. This entire situation has been a terrible experience and I am extremely frustrated and out a lot of money because of Now Tv

Stream Quality is locked to 720p on any browser and they don't tell you this anywhere. Regardless of if you pay for the higher quality options.
When I complained of poor stream quality to the support they sent me in circles with the usual "restart you computer and clear your cookies" before they finally admitted that the quality is an artficial limitation that they have imposed.
At least they refunded me after I argued with their support. The only reason they get an extra star
Now TV = waste of money
Constant crashes, bugs, subtitles go out of sync, quality issues, movies and TV shows won't add to watchlist, most hbo movies are locked, the support line is abysmal, don't even bother!!!!!!!!!!
Major Disappointment of the absence of King Charles to pay tribute!!
BBC programme about Sir David Attenborough
legal robbery is what this company is…
legal robbery is what this company is all about. you take out an assumed 1 month package which can be cancelled at any time but they change the wording and make you sign up to a minimum term contract. after multiples attempts of explaining i only wanted the entertainment pack to binge watch 1 season of a tv series. did that within a week and requested to cancel. no, no you must stay with us for a full year even though you are not using the service. they can see the usage and can confirm its not being used but will continue to lift a payment every single month..you send an email to complain when you get an auto charge to your account but don't hear back from them until the next payment gets lifted- then they email to remind you that the case is still open. Just cancel my bloody entertainment package you absolute leeches!!!

Unskippable ads for 40 a month
Pay €40 a month for a subscription but still have to watch 60 seconds unskippable ads before watching the show? Really dissapointing.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware. Now tv have fixed term contracts. They wouldn’t even let me cancel a £3.99/month contract
Terrible Customer Service, no remorse for its customers
This company is terrible, they have unskilled agents manning live chats and giving you scripted responses. When they have to go outside of the scripted responses, the language barrier is awful. They have no support for vulnerable people. They claim to not be allowed to set up secondary account verification for a third party such as a family member or partner as "It is against UK Regulations" the biggest pile of rubbish I have ever heard of. They have no financial support system. They have hidden clauses in their contract that is not mentioned upfront. Their website offers to good to be true prices to put you in a "Minimum-Term" contract where you cannot leave it until you have satisfied the promotional offer. They try and fob you off and when you ask for a manager they say the response will be the same. The chat time out is awful as well. Imagine giving a customer 2.5 minutes to respond before it disconnects you... imagine that someone is a slow typer or need to write a large piece to get the story across to the agent? Never would I go with this company again.
Charged GBP 239.85 over 15 months for services I never signed up for - refused a refund
NOW TV has been secretly charging me for 15 months for an Entertainment & HBO Max subscription (GBP 9.99/month) and an Ultra Boost add-on (GBP 6/month) that I never intentionally signed up for and never used. Total: GBP 239.85.
To make it worse: NOW TV's own account page only shows 12 months of payment history. So three months of charges (February to April 2025) were simply invisible to me in my own account. I only discovered the full picture by searching my credit card statements independently.
When I complained via live chat, their agent acknowledged the full charge history but refused to refund more than GBP 15.99. One month. Out of fifteen.
And cancelling the unwanted subscriptions required over 20 clicks across multiple screens packed with retention offers. This is precisely the dark pattern now illegal under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
Complaints are now filed with the CMA (ref CMAE2600521), Citizens Advice/Trading Standards, and American Express. I am also pursuing this formally with their legal department and executive team.
If you are a NOW TV customer, check your bank or card statements going back further than 12 months. You may be paying for things you never signed up for, and NOW TV's own interface is designed to keep you from noticing.
Terrible experience
Specialists in providing a terrible entrapment service.
My daughter stupidly signed up for a…
My daughter stupidly signed up for a free trial thinking she could cancel within 7 days which she did but unfortunately was a minimum year contract. She is 17 so just thought it was free trial. Trying to contact Now TV is a complete joke, spoke to a real live person to be rudely told that they cannot deal with our concern and we had to go through live chat. Talking to a bot and getting no where, so it is what it is and she will have to pay for the 12 month term and hopefully lesson learnt. Absolutely shocking service and will be doing my best to ensure everyone I know does not join Now TV!
False advertisement for football game
False advertisement for a specific football game. Brought a 24hour sports day package and the game I wanted to watch (which was advertised on now tv) wasn’t even playing. So I spent £14.99 for absolutely no reason. Save you’re money folks.
Find a different platform
Purchased a sky sports subscription just for f1, the app is terrible, the show timings constantly wrong. Replay events delayed. Locked in for a year, huge mistake.
CANCEL D/Ds or they will help…
CANCEL D/Ds or they will help themselves to made up charges. I cancelled after the broadband contract came to an end. I did everything by the book using the switch service. All NOW charges are taken auto pay in advance and my last payment was taken at the contract rate. On th successful switch
which was £14 per month less than NOW's offer to me as a long standing customer I noticed they had taken a mystery payment for Pro Rata charges...it was totally out of order.
I rang them and complained and they told me that the money will be refunded within the month. How many people never check their statements from these companies... thus how many people have money removed for literally made up spurious fees that they say is all in their T&C's....just
out of order and I will never use them again.
Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with. Everything they do is biased towards themselves.
Stupid fools
The subtitles don't work. They are constantly messing up and out of sync. It's been happening repeatedly on 2 different TVs for months
Some people need subtitles. This is unacceptable. I am on the SECOND paid tier (on the first paid tier you just get bombarded with ads - you need to pay even more to minimise the ads). Terrible service, they can't even get the basics right
BEWARE NO LONGER NO CONTRACT
I'm been using this service for 10 years. Their USP was no contract. Upon resuscribing for 1 month on cinema & Now tv I found that they entered me in contracts without my knowledge. Apparently it was in the small print. They have changed their name from Now TV as well as their model. Never received an email or any information. Will never use them again.BEWARE
