The majority of customers that apply with us do get the low advertised rate. As an FCA regulated lender, this is a requirement for us to be able to display those rates on the website and in our materials.
All loans are subject to status, and many factors are taken into account that can each influence the final rate you are personally offered. Unfortunately your current situation or application information didn't meet that criteria.
You'll appreciate that when lending over £3 billion each year, we do need to manage this area carefully to ensure we're able to continue to offer such competitive loans.
