Bought a Nissan Juke Tekna 3 years ago in a Fiji Sunset colour with black roof. It’s only 5 years old (Dec 70) but the intense sun this summer has caused the black paint to peel in places exposing the... See more

I am travelling around Scotland with my wife on holiday and was unfortunate enough to experience a flat battery one morning. The car is under warranty so I registered the issue using the nissan assist RAC cover but was informed there would be a wait of 5-8 hours. We were sat inside the vehicle in 25° sun with no water but no amount of calling could expedite matters and we eventually had to get a family member to come from over 100 miles away to help us. I can only presume the "free" cover provided is a cheap low priority service that left us dangerously stranded

Absolutely disgusting attitude and experience with nissan customer service.Took my car in for a cambelt and asked if they could check my brakes as they we're squeaking they said my brakes were fine only 30% worn and that the squeaking could be brake dust,it continued so I asked them to check it over again and again they said it was fine.I raised a dispute with nissan customer service who suggested taking the car to a different dealer which I did and the outcome was shocking, they said I had 100% worn brakes and my car was unsafe. After a call again this morning to nissan customer service the outcome was that I needed to pay for the repairs myself,no acknowledgement that I have been driving myself and my family about in a car that was checked and told it was ok,I originally took my car to a main dealer knowing it would be more expensive but putting my trust in the nissan brand and professionalism of such brand, how wrong was I.

Western Nissan Straiton, 1 Straiton Road, Edinburgh.
I have now had two separate significant issues with this branch relating to my Nissan X-Trail e-POWER, and on both occasions the experience has been deeply disappointing.
For context, my vehicle was subject to a Nissan safety recall in January 2026. The recurring breakdown issues described below began shortly after that recall was completed.
Most recently, my vehicle broke down three times in the space of two weeks. I paid £165 for a diagnostic and was told the battery needed recharging. The car broke down again. I then paid a further £266 for a full battery replacement and was told the car was fixed and safe to drive. It broke down again, on one occasion on a busy roundabout off the A1 with my three children in the vehicle.
I have spent over 10 hours at the roadside across three breakdowns in two weeks, pushing £1,000 in rental vehicles and failed repair costs, and my car remains unresolved on my driveway.
When I called the branch after the most recent breakdown a sales representative told me the workshop would assist with recovery on Monday and that his manager Peter would call me back to confirm. Peter never called. When I followed up on Monday the workshop refused to assist with recovery of a vehicle they had twice failed to fix, told me recovery would be entirely at my expense, and when I raised my dissatisfaction I was told that if I wasn't happy I would need to escalate the matter.
I have escalated formally in writing to director level within Western Nissan, the wider Eastern Western Motor Group, and Nissan Customer Services directly. Not one person across any of those three organisations has acknowledged or responded to my complaint.
This follows a separate issue in 2023 involving unauthorised work carried out on my vehicle by the same branch.
The Newbridge branch has been excellent throughout. Western Nissan Straiton has let us down badly, twice. I have now referred the matter to the Motors Ombudsman.

I went for a test drive of a used 2020 Juke in the morning and drove home with said Juke by 16:30 the same day. Jordan Harris the sales assistant at the Northampton branch was excellent with the professional way he helped me and the way he explained all the system and controls. He made the whole process really simple and a pleasure to do business with.

I don’t want to give even one star this company is absolutely atrocious and I tell everybody do not buy Nissan by something else. This company is disgraceful. I bought a brand-new vehicle which is under warranty and broke down and they basically gave me the runarounds. I lost one and a half thousand pounds through Lost earnings because they could not be bothered to pick my car up immediately take it to the First main dealer to sort it out and they would not give me a courtesy car even though they’re in breach of their contractual obligations according to their warranty therefore I would like to take further league action against them in a small claims court where I was told that I will win handsdown this company is out of order do not buy any car from them

Shocking service from both the dealership (Glyn Hopkins Milton Keynes) and Nissan Financial Services. Being told no charges for returning a vehicle then landed with a £650 bill. Both companies have no respect for the customer and Glyn Hopkins even stating that no one else has complained so…..
We are currently looking at options to return our current and 3rd Nissan and steer clear as clearly being a loyal customer means nothing

Recently purchased a new Juke. However, they never tell you about NISSAN CONNECT. You find out about the massive problem when you receive the vehicle. The system is useless. Look at the reviews on the Google Play app, it is a disaster. Nissan offer no help with this issue. The system should not be available on an app. Hopefully the bad reviews will stop people buying a NISSAN and having a major problem.
Nissan replied saying contact them. This was a waste of time. No help with the problem. In the set up there is a satement saying TURN ON YOUR VEHICLE, NOTE THE ODOMETER VALUE. At this stage the system states SORRY SOMETHING WENT WRONG. PLEASE TRY AGAIN. This problem just repeats. The system is useless.

I ordered a Nissan Micra Evolve in April and was given an expected delivery date of 15th July. When I contacted the South West Nissan dealership in Sidmouth to check the situation I was given a vague assurance of delivery in September, which I fully expect will be further delayed when I next enquire.

Car went in for a warranty replacement engine due to engine failure after 40k miles. Engine was replaced but the vehicle was returned in a terrible condition with a drive issue and is now being dismissed by Nissan for an issue they created during the failure and repair. Already contacted Customer Services and they inform me that they have closed the dispute even though a solution hasnt been provided. I've started Legal proceedings

I originally left a review on 30th April and received a reply from the team asking me to send them a message via their inbox. I did exactly that straight away, but it's now been two months and I'm still waiting for someone to contact me about my issue.
I've even sent a follow-up message through Messenger, but I've received no response whatsoever. It's extremely disappointing to be asked to reach out privately, only to be completely ignored afterwards. If you're going to ask customers to contact you, at least have the courtesy to respond and resolve their concerns.
I would say the least helpful Brand Nissan that I have ever dealt with, I have a Nissan Navara that needs a new adblue tank ! My Navara has been at Yeomans Nissan since April 24th 2026. Waiting for a tank with no date of when it will be delivered as on back order ,Numerous calls to Nissan, passed around to different advisors still no help at all I’m hiring a vehicle for all this time , no goodwill from Nissan, no updates from Nissan apart from on back order!! they have no interest in the customer or satisfaction in what they sell, no wonder they are declining as a Company. There ratings show the dissatisfaction that the customer feels so be very careful before putting hard earned money into buying a product that they won’t stand by. I will never buy a Nissan again ! . Who knows when my Navara will be fixed 9 weeks and still counting and Guess who will be thousands out of pocket ( the Customer)
Now on week 12 waiting for adblue tank, no date for part delivery, Nissan uk customer services are appalling no help, waste of time calling or emailing, they don’t listen or understand they need customers to buy the Vehicles they sell !!!!!

I have only the highest praise for Shelbourne Nissan Portadown N.Ireland when purchasing my Qashqai.
The salesman Frank Hughes was very professional and a credit to Shelbourne Nissan.

My vehicle is less than two years old and has covered just over 14,000 miles. A few weeks ago, I noticed the paintwork beginning to bubble unexpectedly, this was around the time the temperature reached 30+ degrees. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that the affected area was deteriorating significantly, with the bubbling spreading over time. At this point there was no sign of a chip in the paintwork and this was just bubbles.
I reported the issue to Nissan and arranged for the vehicle to be inspected. Following the inspection, I was informed by the Nissan Letchworth team that the damage had been caused by a stone chip and, therefore, would not be covered under the paintwork warranty.
I strongly dispute this conclusion. The bubbling appeared before any paint had broken away, and there was no stone chip present in the affected area when the issue first developed. It was only after the paint had started to bubble and fail that a small section of paint flaked away. In my view, the evidence clearly points towards a paint defect rather than impact damage.
The explanation provided appears to be a convenient way of avoiding responsibility under Nissan’s paintwork warranty. Nissan’s warranty documentation states that defects in paintwork are covered, whereas stone chips are excluded. By attributing a clear paint failure to a stone chip without sufficient evidence, Nissan Letchworth appears to be attempting to invalidate a legitimate warranty claim.
I challenged this assessment and explained that I did not accept the stone chip diagnosis. I was then advised that the matter would be referred to the claims team, who would contact me directly. More than three weeks have now passed, and I have received no communication, update, or response whatsoever from the letchworth team.
The level of customer service throughout this process has been extremely poor. Not only has there been a lack of communication, but there also appears to be a predetermined effort to dismiss warranty claims rather than properly investigate them. Furthermore, I have since found numerous reports online from Nissan owners experiencing similar paint defects, with allegations that warranty claims were rejected on the basis that the damage was attributed to stone chips.
This experience falls far below the standards I would expect from a manufacturer that promotes itself as being committed to customer satisfaction. Rather than addressing what appears to be a recurring paintwork issue, Nissan Letchworth’s approach has been to deny responsibility and leave the customer without support or resolution.

Disgusting service. DO NOT BUY A NISSAN!! Purchased a nissan Epower Eforce Tekna plus in the first two years its had a number of issues from recalls to faulty battery to faulty generator and every time I have to take it to a dealership in Leicester Marshall Nissan due to no fault of my own I have to pay and HIRE a car to get home. NO Courtesy car provided.
The dealership also left scratches on my car bumper clearly visible when it was not there before drop off. They then lied on a number of occasions and all nissan head office did was call them and took their word. I stated they should view their CCTV.....oh they said the CCTV does not work. they said to head office they gave me a courtesy.....they never did! prove it. Eventually they offered me a £50 voucher to spend at their dealership. They wont even look at the scratches for that amount. A complete insult.
Absolutely appalling service from NISSAN. I'll never buy a Nissan again and neither should anyone else. This is their best level of service and its taken several weeks of waiting.

I have dealt with Dalgleish Nissan in Galashiels and leased 4 Qashqai and 1 X Trail over 15 years and the service has always been excellent 5 Star service. In Nissan wisdom they decided to take the Franchise of them and give it to Western Nissan in Loanhead. They now have to order Nissan through this Garage. They Supplied a car that was not the car I ordered and due to design changes were not suitable for my disability Dalgleish has tried to get a change of vehicle and Western invited me up to see if any the two were suitable. We got there on our appointment time and the Salesperson we were supposed to see did not come out to see us until i demanded it The cars we were supposed to see were not there and Dalgleish is still trying to get answers Western score of one and will never lease another Nissan.

Nissan's handling of an officially diagnosed, safety-critical hybrid inverter fault on my lease car has been an absolute disgrace.
The vehicle suffered an electrical breakdown, and despite main dealer diagnostics confirming severe underlying fault codes, Nissan entered a coordinated "corporate loop" with the leasing company Arval and the RAC to shuffle responsibility away.
Instead of prioritising public safety and customer wellbeing by authorising an immediate recall, repair, or proper recovery, Nissan issued a deadlock statement passing the buck. They have shown zero accountability for a major failure of their own high-voltage technology, demonstrating that once a vehicle leaves the showroom, driver safety and consumer care become an afterthought.

I bought a new Nissan Quashqai epower on 6th Jan 2025. And almost immediately started to have problems. It was first the dashboard. Every fault possible came up, then not long after that the entertainment system started to play up. Saved radio channels disappearing, also same with saved phone connections. These problems continued, and still are a problem, and have been for over a year. I have lost count of the any of time I have been back to dealership, and only get a software up date. It was only a couple of months ago on one of my MANY visits to dealership, I told them I have had enough of this software update every other month, I wanted some sales done. They suggested I replacement entertainment system, but said I would have to get in touch with NISSAN GB. I had already been in touch with them because of on going problems and the amount of visits to dealership. So I passed on details to them. I got new equipment fitted, but lo and behold, it never worked. Every day I was having to reset everything. These details were passed on to Nissan GB, but the person that was dealing with it, never got back to me. After 2 weeks of waiting to get fixed, my car went in. It lasted one day and is back to same problems.
Again I have been in touch with Nissan GB , but still no answer.
Basically I have had a car for 17 months and it has never been fit for purpose, and that could be why they are ignoring me

Visited garage for an annoying rattle (under warranty), 2nd visit for same issue.
Arrived at garage and asked if rattle was obvious this morning and I mentioned less obvious when weather warm. The Nissan response was “why don’t you bring it back when it’s colder”. This was not particularly helpful after a 50 minute drive to get to the garage for 8.00 am.
I was told to wait and 10 minutes later told they didn’t know where my courtesy car was, but they knew it had a puncture, so would I wait to see if they could sort something out. Having a busy schedule I did not have the time to wait for something that may not materialise and had to leave in my car.
Nissan appears to happily accept sub standard service levels from some of its dealers.
Maybe answer is to “go Chinese”.
