I've been a member for five years, but I still learned new things from the Boot Camp in October. Also the Musicality book they just put out is fantastic. Recommend any of Musical U's courses, products, or membership to musicians who feel like something is missing from their musical life, or like they just aren't "talented" enough.

High quality material - the best adult instruction I think I have ever experienced (and I am not prone to exaggeration). Very well constructed program (Living Music) Engaging, knowledgeable presentations and the fact there are real human beings behind the scenes answering your questions in close to real time (usually about 24 hours) is very good.

The content is great. Having to pay for it Year after Year is NOT. I am on my second year and have not yet completed all the seasons. I hope to before renewal time so I do not have to spend more $$$. If I was retired and had $$$ it probably would be no issue. But working all day etc. leaves very little time to focus on this course. Most of the course is from 2022 so I do not see a reason to keep paying for the same information again and again. Not to say the content is bad, it is very good.

The forums are full of great, supportive people. Andy is great NL coach. I really like the Musicality book, which I have several copies of now. It's proven to be very helpful. Worth every penny.

It teaches what is not taught nowhere.
It has interactiv and práctical parts and is kind of holistic...Head Hands Hearing Heart..cognitive physical emocional and sensitive content.
It is apt for all levels and all kinds of targets you have incl.sidereading composing improvising... except for specific instrument technics ..It is personaliced. You can get quick responds from a very competent and friendly team and it got as well live calls.
It is for all aves and you can go in your own pace.
The mindset part was very important for me.I loved much how you explain the circle of fifth and the superlearning technics are also very helpfull. It must be really great for guitarrists etc...And it makes fun and includes all stiles of music.Well the only thing ..I feel that percusión is a little bit neglected but you start catching up.Just some lessons I had to think quite a bit to adapt the content There is stuff in it like play that melody and than play it in another key - choose five notes hm...well it is clear that I can not do the parts about Chords ( Winter) on a drum and whta should I try it for..but in other lessons ( improvisation) I would whish that you have a look at it and just make a quick remark how to adapt it if you have not got a melody instrument.Thxs..I love Musical U..The best I have seen in a long time You are great.

Musical U has the information and the teaching videos that I needed to fill in the missing gaps in my musical education and journey. I have always looked at improvisation as a mystery, and MU has given me a path to learn and grow in improvisation. Also, I thought I was not good at Playing By Ear, but MU has revealed my inner Musical Super Powers.

Musical U provides great learning experiences; chanllenging my knowledge of music and all that goes into making it what it is. I would get more out of the course if I spent more time working with the lessons. Will try schedule more time for the lessons!

Musical-U is wonderful! I definitely recommend it if you want to deepen your appreciation of music or feel there is something missing from your musical education. There is much to be gained whatever your level of musical ability.
I have been learning guitar on and off for about 30 years and have made very slow progress. I joined musical-u a couple of years ago and it has opened my ears to many other aspects of music such as active listening, solfa, superlearning, audiation. Their approach is what they term convergent learning. They recognise that people learn in different ways and by approaching musicality from different angles these different ways all combine to enhance your learning.
Their Living Music course has introduced me to a lot of new music and I have begun to notice a lot more in the music I listen to as a consequence. I have been able to apply what I've learnt to my guitar journey and it has empowered me to take control of my own learning. My practice sessions are a lot more fun now and I am more aware of how to get the most out of my practice rather than just repeating the same thing over and over again thinking that is the way to improve.

I did not like the program at all. The beginning, at least, is all about "how to learn" and really not at all about teaching music. Many will find that valuable, but I am an older guy who has continued learning at a brisk pace throughout my life. I quickly became bored with all the "how to learn" and goal-setting lessons. I don't know if or when the program actually teaches music, because I stopped visiting altogether.

I have several Musical U courses and enjoy the training. The recently released book Musicality has been an enjoyable read that contains beneficial information for any musician.

Musical U does a great job of teaching musicians of all abilities who play any instrument. They meet us where we are, and take us to the next level. Musical U has figured out the various components of musicality, and then the various steps a musician (or singer) can take to increase their competence as they move through each level. I've made much progress with playing by ear, songwriting, and in my ability to learn new music more quickly. And I'm having more fun with all of it! In addition the community of learners at Musical U is a special group--eager to learn, eager to share what they're doing with each other, and eager to celebrate as each of us grows.

Preordered the book which was "waiting" for the printers to produce. After a few weeks I got an email stating the book was finally printed and was being shipped with a tracking number. After a week of checking the UPS tracking it always states they have not received the package to ship. Sent an email to Musical U to check on this but no response from them. I figured it was a scam site but now I know. Save your money for a legit company

I recently purchased the 27-dollar advertised offer and have not been able to log in. I've visited the contact page with my email info and it's been over 24 hours and no one has responded or communicated with my request. WTF is going on? I'm glad I didn't purchase any of the expensive shyt. Your website doesn't work.
