Outstanding Customer Service

The customer service from Mulgas is exceptional with all members of the team totally customer service focussed. Giles, the engineer was, as always, so professional, very experienced and all was left in great order post his visit. Very impressive.

Unparalleled Service On All Levels

My two experiences with Mulgas so far have been nothing but positive.

I would like to highlight the second time. For nearly 10 days, I was without hot water or heating this was not ideal as my wife has a heart condition. Hometree came along last Monday, and all the engineer did was stick a big fat danger label on my boiler, and tell me that my boiler is crap (which I already knew) and to get a new one, he did nothing to help us and actually put us into a worse position than before. Hometree refused to do the repair, declaring my boiler beyond economic repair which was deeply heartbreaking as the boiler would have not been in such a state if they had just fixed the issues that I have repeatedly notified them of for many years.

The whole of last week was nothing but pure stress for me and my wife who was experiencing heart palpitations (most likely due to us having to do bucket showers with heated water from a kettle in an 8 degree home), and I was unable to properly work as I had to keep chasing Hometree, and trying to urgently organise an engineer visit.

Then on Friday, I spoke to Kayleigh from Mulgas who was not only sympathetic to my situation, she went above and beyond by speaking to Mulgas' Owner - Dave, who came to my property on his day off to inspect my boiler, and give me insightful recommendations of what sort of work needed to be done to my home boiler setup, including what boiler to get.

Fast forward to Monday this week, after speaking with Kayleigh again, she manages to pull some strings to get one of their engineers (George, who was fantastic by the way) to do an emergency job boiler installation for me given our situation.

By the end of Monday night, I had not only a new boiler, but a nice hot shower with heating all thanks to George, Kayleigh & Dave.

Thank you team for providing me with such excellent service!

emergency boiler repair

Arrived back from holiday at 11pm where the temperature was 24 degrees. Boiler had failed so house was very cold. Phoned Mulgas at opening business next day. They sent an engineer same afternoon. He fixed our issue - no fuss no bother. I have used Mulgas on a number of occasions. The result is always the same, good old school service. Strongly recommended.

Fantastic Company

I found that Mulgas are a really good company. They arrive on time, they always have a chat with you and are very polite . Plus they explain what they are going to do and show you how to use the equipment if need be.

Excellent

We've used Mulgas for our last three annual boiler services. Excellent work done on each visit - arrived on-time, friendly, appeared completely on-top of the work required, gave good advice, and even pointed out a few helpful things which were outside of the scope of the work that also needed doing. Highly recommended.

Mulgas installed our new heating system…

Mulgas installed our new heating system in 2019 and have serviced our boiler each year since then, including just now. They are professional, reliable, and actually do a thorough service (unlike others we have had in the past). Steve in particular is fantastic. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great boiler service.

Steve arrived on time & carried out a thorough annual service on my Glow-worm boiler.
Steve was polite,clean and tidy.

Anyone reading this will see this customers review is inconsistent with our many other great reviews. This doesn't happen easily and we strongly believe its because we are very good at what we do and work very had to satisfy customers.
Some faults are difficult some easier and we never know which we'll be dealing with until after the event.
When the fault is difficult it's not always possible to diagnose in one or two visits especially when the fault is intermittent and not present on our visits, like in this case.
We've been clear & transparent with our customer about the intermittent nature of the fault and it not being present and therefore made clear we are estimating for the most likely cause with the knowledge it could need a further visits & parts. We've also only ever gone ahead with any work once the land lord has accepted our estimate.
The boiler has also always been working on our arrival plus working when we've left, this is the nature of intermittent faults.
We strongly dispute the facts in this review.

Very considerate engineer.

Very considerate engineer. Tidy and informative.
He did what was required to complete an annual boiler service. He also noted that the boiler could benefit from an upgrade in two ways and has provided an estimate to fix the potential problems.

Excellent service

We had used Mulgas for many years for servicing and when our older Baxi back boiler system failed and we could not get replacement parts, Dave gave us a very competitive quote to supply and fit a new Worcester Greenstar system. True to Dave's word, George the fitter came and fitted the new system within 3 days, took time to explain how the controls worked, and answered any technical questions we asked.
Very good efficient service from George and the Mulgas team.

Boiler breakdown

My tenant was suddenly without heating and hot water after combi boiler failed. I phoned Mulgas after they were recommended to me and they quickly sent an engineer round who identified a faulty boiler fan which they supplied and fitted for me a couple of days later. Really helpful Mulgas office staff managing the urgent issue, keeping me and my tenant informed thoroughly and quickly throughout the process made a big difference to me. An excellent and professional service. I will use Mulgas again for sure

Thank you Mulgas for replacing the boiler in one of our flats. Throughout the process of obtaining parts and quotations Dave kept in touch with us even late in the evening and the engineer arrived on time on the agreed date and worked until the installation was completed.
