Easy migration
Migrating from Sage Accounting to Xero was surprisingly easy!
But it was necessary to read all of MoveMyBooks' notes and warnings. It is necessary to do some tidying up and checking before starting the move.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent service from Move My Books – highly recommended
I’ve now used Move My Books several times for client conversions, and once again the service has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. The whole process is incredibly smooth, very user-friendly, and the fact that the service is completely free still surprises me considering how good it is.
The transfer was quick, accurate, and required very little effort on my side. Everything moved across cleanly with no issues, which makes a huge difference when you’re working to deadlines or handling live client data. The system is simple to follow, well explained, and works exactly as it should.
I’ve used Move My Books more than once now, and every single time the experience has been excellent. It takes the stress out of moving from one software package to another and makes the whole process feel easy.
As a bookkeeper, finding tools that are reliable, efficient, and genuinely helpful is rare — but Move My Books delivers every time.
Outstanding service again. Highly recommended to anyone moving accounts to Xero.

First time using and will use again and again
First time using it for clients who want to move to Xero from a mix of Quickbooks and Sage.
One conversion worked no problem. ✅
Two conversions had some gremlins (which is more likely to how client had data) and selecting the "fix it for me" option then this is then fixed by MoveMyBooks.💪
Soooooooo much time saved.
Will be using again for sure 💯✅

The service was very quick
The service was very quick, but I have had to manually change so much data it really wasn't worth it in the end. I have had to be on endless support calls and chats with Xero to try and fix.

Sorry to hear that things haven't gone smoothly. I can see you did contact our support team about bank feeds, which aren't something we can reconnect as we don't have access to customer bank accounts.
You also mentioned some problems with invoices. Looking at your conversion, it appears it contains multicurrency, and that you converted from a source system that we specifically mention (https://movemybooks.com/kb/limitations-forex/) that if multicurrency is operated, the conversion is unlikely to complete accurately. This isn't something we can fix or resolve and is likely to be the cause of several problems with your conversion.
Apologies that we couldn't provide a better service. This is the best we can do given the known and documented issues with multicurrency in your source system.
