From booking a test drive to purchasing a car an excellent service
I messaged through the website to book a test drive and was contacted by Owen who arranged a test drive at a time that was suitable for me. I contacted him again to change the time which was not a problem and the car was ready to test drive when I arrived. There was no pressure to buy the car and Owen was on hand to answer any questions my husband and I had. I was part exchanging my car and that went as smoothly as purchasing my new car. Excellent service from start to finish.

The actual collection of the car in time allocation needs to be longer.

Disappointing aftersale help
Great experience actually purchasing the car and the salesman was great and helpful.
Since pick up day it went downhill. Booked a collection appointment and was left waiting for 45 minutes in the waiting area, even when we asked staff what the delay was we were told "we'll find someone to help now" with no avail. In the end another staff member felt sorry for us and sorted the collection out themselves.
Found a fault with the air con within the same week was told to take it to Kwik fit for a regas and Motorpoint will cover this. Kwikfit confirmed aircon leak.
Reported it back to Motorpoint and was told it has to go back to the manufacturer as covered by warranty. Had to take time off work as the manufacturer could only do day time appointments.
In our opinion, we bought a faulty product and Motorpoint should have taken ownership and fixed the issue. If it needed to go back to manufacturer this should have been something for Motorpoint to sort. Would not buy a car from them again, as once we had the car we were fobbed off to the manufacturer. If we bought a faulty appliance from another store, they would have taken ownership of the issue and not shipped us about to other garages!

Best Car shopping experience I've ever had
On arriving, staff were friendly and always on hand to help throughout the day.
I was there for hours but it felt like minutes. Special mention for Marc, he made the experience great, super helpful, very chilled, didn't feel pressured like you can sometimes experience when buying a car.
Collecting my new car was easy and staff helped with the process of handing over my old car and making sure I knew what to cancel.
