Failed to resolve my problem

I am a Moneyfarm customer and persuaded our son to open a Junior ISA with Moneyfarm
How I regret that
When I try to deposit money in the JISA it ends up in my account
I have been trying to get this resolved for over a month
There's obviously a system problem in Moneyfarm
So be careful

Tried to open a SIPP, no joy.

Opened a SIPP, despite providing a selfie and passport details and proof of address I was asked for a bank statement. This was sent on the 21st of May. Between now and then I have phoned Moneyfarm 3 times asking for an update.

They apologise and state the verification team are very busy, they might be but so am I and I don't want to wait any longer with no sign of a resolution. My frustration was increased by the fact that wife opened one at the same time and was asked for nothing, no passport, no selfie and no statement.

Usually companies are keen to get your money so I hate to imagine that if takes three weeks to open an account that was never actually opened, how long it would it take to fix a problem.

I have opened an account with AJ Bell now, took 5 minutes and they haven't asked for anything.

Both of these companies were recommended by MSE but AJ Bell seems to be a lot easier to open an account with.

Thieves

After receiving my £10,000 into a Stocks and Shares ISA, they then proceeded to close the account and refuse to return the money. The financial Ombudsman is now having to get involved. Liars, cheats, frauds. Despicable company that must be avoided. Awful.

More money to invest and the perfect investing experience.

The bottom line with any investment company is, "Are your investments doing well?". If they are then you can forgive the company being less than perfect in other areas. However, with Moneyfarm you dont need to compromise. Their investment skills are first class leading to superb returns but their customer service is excellent too. Any questions you have are answered in detail, personal to you and promptly. I didn't expect the level of management to be so good and as a result I would never go to a financial advisor again for investment advice. Moneyfarm offers a superb personal investment experience at a fraction of the cost of seeing a financial advisor with your portfolios regularly reviewed and tailored to current market trends. You'll get a brilliant service, thorough, tailored advice and more money to invest.

Found Moneyfarm easy to deal with

Found Moneyfarm easy to deal with. after investing in there cash isa i received a call from one of the managers. leaving his contact name and number should i require any further assistance. The only reason i have transfered my isa was for a better rate.but they where helpful there too.thanks K Williams

Very intuiative app

Very intuiative app. Easy to understand investment options. Pretty straightforwards to withdraw funds; function could be made more obvious on dashboard. Charges and trades are clear. With all investment platforms, would be great if lower charges

Absolutely disgusting delay on a ISA transfer…

Absolutely disgusting on a ISA transfer communication is so poor and when they say it will happen it doesn't. The ISA transfer company has also been ignored this really is not good enough.
It appears to me they are quick to take your money but words fail me when you want to move your money to another provider which is a right you have !!’
How can a company get away with this.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Compensation is certainly deserved !!
Please beware !!! I’ve never had such poor customer services, communication non existent to poor, and delivery of service poor.

Dreadful business. Shirks responsibility. Not interested in making things right for customers

Dreadful business.

Messed up transferring my money into a pension account and has since offered my £200 in compensation for the several thousands (>£10k) that it has cost me.

Technology clearly doesn't work. Despite speaking to their team about 5/6 times they still were unable to allocate my funds to my pension on time.

Have since blamed the error on not being able to "automatically allocate" money into the fund despite me speaking to them several times before the end of the tax year and knowing exactly what I wanted to achieve.

Hiding behind pathetic excuses and not interested in making this right for a customer. It would be refreshing if they would hold up their hands when a clear error has been made, but instead they would rather push the financial loss onto me.

Dreadful business to deal with.
