After 2 months
After 2 months
Been using fine for 2 months, built up £10 and had that ready to go, but now this has come back to bite me. My mobile has been blocked and I am now being threatened with disconnection by O2.
I am not on PAYG sim, this is a contract. Be careful, o2 Are enforcing their Fair usage policy now.
Could get your phone blocked !!!
Read the terms of your phone contract carefully, after receiving a threat from O2 to bar my phone, I read them and it appears that it is actually against terms of service
Flagged as spam by O2
Easy to use and payments are made as specified - can't fault the app in that sense.
O2 appear to have black-marked them though as they barred my phone after 6 weeks of using the app. Check o2 Community threads for reference.
I had to delete the app and confirm it on a recorded call to have the bar removed from my phone.
All in all, not worth the hassle for the payout.
The service does
The service does, in theory, work and I did get £20 within a couple of months.
However I got a text from O2 threatening to bar my number and terminate my account because sending automated SMS messages is against their fair use policy.
Stay away!
After coming across their as on…
After coming across their as on Facebook, sounded too good to be true but thought try it, what have I got to lose?
2 months down the line, managed to build up £20+ BUT O2 have now barred my number and are now threatening to bill me for termination.
In hindsight, should have followed my instincts and stayed away from Facebook ads.
Please be aware. 1 month in, you've got a tenner plus, second month in, £20 plus but then..........!

o2 blocked me!
The app works as expected, but beware 02 contacted me today after around a month of using to Block my number due to the large amount of texts being sent. they have lifted this after explaining I have removed the app though, different providers may not have this issue. Mofono hasn't don't anything wrong but like me I'm sure you haven't going through the t&c's of your phone contract and you might get stung
Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Very happy that my unused texts are working hard.
Was dubious at first
Was dubious at first, but decided to give a months trial. in a month i had gained £10 and cashed it in at the post office! 6 weeks in and my phone service provider has kicked me off the network. Lost a months payment! Don't use avoid like the plaque.
Does what it says on the tin!
Does what it says on the tin... hardly touches my battery already hits the daily quota early so I'm free to use my phone. Also gets paid out within 1 working day.
No hassle
Once app has been downloaded, there is not much to do. Just collect your money when you want.
The only thing is you do get text messages with random numbers and letters which I delete but they haven't caused me any hassle.
A legit way to earn a little extra cash…
A legit way to earn a little extra cash every month, would definatley recommend to anyone that has unused messages in their phone contract just to earn little money back approx 1p per 5 messages
im happy with my free money good bonus
Complete scam!! Avoid like the plague!!
Worked well for a while, cashed out £15 fine.
Tried to cash out another £10 on the 22nd July, recieved text saying I would receive the code within 2 business days.
It is now the 31st July and still nothing!
Emailed customer service twice and no response at all.
Never received any referral credit either.
Also decreased the amount of texts you can send / amount of money you can earn without any notification.
Have no uninstalled especially after reading other people's recent reviews about their network barring them!!
Would not recommend EVER!!
This is a good app
This is a good app. I have just cashed out my first £20. I don’t like having to delete the constant sent messages but other than that, I can’t fault it.
Locks out on 2nd payment
Worked for the first month. Then when I came to collect my second payment my account got locked. I've emailed their support 5 times but zero response.
It does pay out
So far so good does what it says
It actually works
It actually works, you do nothing, just cash in every month, as simple as that.
The best app ever
