I got barred from my service provider for overuse of texts.

Changed my phone number lost all my rewards!!

Sim card blocked by network. AVOID

So, I started using this for a bit of extra money because I have unlimited texts. It works, and I've seen proof of people redeeming money, but I stopped using it after 1 day. Why? Because why should I be payed £10 a month when they can just pay £5 a month for unlimited texts. I've seen some people having their phone number locked due to 'suspicious activity' from this app. Also, the owner has something of a shady past, being involved in scams. I think this app is used to send scam/spam messages from your own number, but I can't prove that. Finally, the service seems pretty unkind to those who don't like it, given the replies to negative reviews. Please stop emailing me telling me to redownload the app. Just delete my account. Thanks.

The app is fine, it does what it says, easy to withdraw some cash, but you need to be carefull, beacuse there are anti-spam systems which i didnt know about, and one day, my sim got barred because it triggered it, and I couldn't call, couldn't use internet, anything.

Worked fine for a month and then I got my phone blocked so can't receive calls, texts or internet don't use it!

Used MOFONO for a few months and got paid, no problems, BUT THREE have now blocked my SIM and I'm unable to make calls, receive calls, send texts and use data! My phone, for now is a brick!

Now trying to get my phone back online with THREE. Have been informed reconnection within 24 - 48 hours, fingers crossed.

Have contacted MOFONO for an explanation as their app has eventually proven to be a massive inconvenience. Would be worth inquiring to Trading Standards as this app is not fit for purpose in the public domain and is causing major inconvenience for the users who have signed up for it!

It appears that O2 are also now suspending accounts and will only be a matter of time before all mobile communications providers will be following THREE and O2!

My advice, DO NOT USE MOFONO as you WILL have your mobile phone service suspended.

I have been successfully reconnected to the Three network at no extra charge within the 48 hours that they stated!

My phone contract got suspended for using this app. Worked great for a month then got contacted by the fraud squad. Definitely dodgy stuff

The way this app gains a "free" money is fraudulent. People please don't be stupid thinking you'll get cash for nothing.

Working fine for a day or 2 then three suspended the account.

When trying to get it un-suspended they said it was texting/sharing illegal stuff, i'm sure that's just because the texts was encrypted but not happy.

works for about a month or so. most sim providers will ban your sim once they find out automated sms are being sent.

used this for month everything was good but from today Three network suspend my sim no phone no call they told me they were doing some investigation

Only had it a few days and been barred on three network

App worked and I got a £10 payout. Then my Internet and network went down. Called up my provider who said that my contract had been suspended due to a large amount of texts being sent from my SIM. They said this was fraud.
DO NOT install this app as it is fraud and you will be breaching the T&Cs of your phone contract and therefore have your contract suspended.
Not sure how this app is allowed to operate.

Quick & easy to set up, already cashed in £20! Fantastic, helps cover the phone bill.

Nice idea for a service, unfortunately it ended up with my phone provider disabling my number from the network.

This may not happen with everyone but it was quite a shock to suddenly receive a message to state that your phone contact is being cancelled.

Was all good using for 2 months now and built up almost £20... But today a message from O2 this morning and within minutes my whole phone was blocked, texts, data and calls.

Similar to everyone else, this worked fine, for about a month and a half. Built up about £10 credit.

Then I get the text from O2. Number has been barred for breaking the fair usage policy, and to expect a termination fee.

Needless to say, I phoned up O2, who said they would reconnect my number on the promise that I delete the app.

Sorry Mofono, but the small trickle of money you offer isn't worth me losing my contract with O2. App was deleted.
