Need to find better third party companies who can adhere to financial contracts agreed and don’t let anyone down who relies on equipment like a huge hoist. It’s obvious persons paid
Few hundred pounds to hire because they have no other means and desperate enough need a hoist to hire one and unbelievable the third party company mobility assistance in Birmingham never turned up. Phone mannerisms communication were very rude.
However, to motability direct hire don’t offer an emergency 24 hour line if you’re not going to answer. That’s not good enough either. We could have resolved something yesterday had you answered to try get hoist in asap but you failed me there too. Appreciate the sincere apologies I hope you stick to your word and refund and compensate. Thank you.
Terrible Service
Ordered a wheelchair in march for May for my elderly mother in Ireland. Mum is 92 and her two remaining siblings are 95 and 97. Mum is not mobile so a wheelchair is our only option to get her out. No wheelchair arrived so chased it up. Apparently the company never received the payment that I made although money was taken from our account. Mum was unable to visit her siblings so I’m absolutely devastated that they could not find a wheelchair in Ireland for mum
Hoist Hire on Crete
Thanks to excellent communications between Mobility Equipment hire and PanCar car rental we could manage to receive our hoist on arrival at the airport in Heraklion to take it ourselves to the Hotel in Ierapetra. After 1 week we returned the hoist to Heraklion Airport. The hoist was in excellent condition and when we had a problem operating it and called the helpline we got immediate response and could operate it without problems during our 8 day stay at the hotel. The service could not have been better :-)
Holiday in Benidorm
We have just returned from a holiday to Benidorm with our disabled son who is a full time wheelchair user. We used this company to provide a profiling bed, stand aid and shower chair directly to our hotel room. Given the reviews, we were quite worried. If the equipment hadn't been provided, we would've really struggled to care for our son. Thankfully, everything was waiting for us when we arrived so we couldn't be happier.
NOT WORTHY OF ANY STARS
No Star! This company takes your money and then doesn’t care about you at all! We were GUARANTEED a non airflow mattress at the time of order, but an airflow was delivered. When we complained, we were told a trainee had given us the wrong information as they don’t do normal mattresses. My 89 year old mother couldn’t sleep on the bed so couldn’t stay with us for her birthday, which was being attended by several relatives, one of whom flew from Spain, and four others travelled and paid for hotels. My mother had to go home!
The bed was collected after a few days, but the company have basically said that we are lying and refuse to give us any money back.
Ruined the start of our hoilday.
Scooter never arrived. Ruined the start of our holiday as I couldn’t get a replacement until three days later via someone else and then found out that they charged me double and after initially saying they would refund me I still haven’t received the money back after 2 weeks now. Customer service non existent, won’t answer the phone

Ordered and paid for a mobility scooter, then several days later informed the price had increased 120%, was I happy. NO!!! Excuse was the website not updated and the smallprint allows them to amend the price even after accepting the order. DONT USE THEM!! Just look at the reviews, I should have paid more notice,

Dreadful company didn't deliver. Charged for a week for Monday to Thursday hire (arriving late on Monday and leaving early on Thursday) No Chair delivered on Monday, still no sign of it on Tuesday. Phoned by diverted to vodafone voice mail left message cancelling the hire as I was not paying £186 for 1 days use. They "say" I didn't call them so I sent them the details of the date and time they returned the call AND a recording of the message they left - I have the logs of my calls. They just don't want to give me my money back. Will be contacting my card provider for a refund.
Booked the chair because my travelling companion is disabled, we had a good time considering but he was in a lot of pain because of the lack of the wheelchair.
I would NEVER use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone, you will just be wasting your money.

They have 1 star because I can’t give none. After booking a mobility scooter for my elderly mother for her trip to Italy, (despite the exorbitant delivery fee which cost nearly as much as the hire vehicle) this company cancelled the order 5 days before her trip with no email, phone call with explanations. Now we are having to buy a travel scooter instead. If you want a reliable hire I wouldn’t choose these.
Excellent service
Ordered a hoist and shower chair to be delivered to our hotel in ibiza. After reading reviews on here I was apprehensive as to whether or not it would turn up. How wrong I was. Hoist and chair delivered on time and places in our room ready for us to use. Fully charged hoist and shower/toilet chair in excellent condition, clean and easy to use. Cannot recommend this company enough. Made our lives so much easier whilst on holiday with our disabled daughter! Wouldn’t hesitate to use again so thank you!

I ordered and paid for equipment to then be told they would be needing more money as prices had gone up and refused point blank to honour my paid order. Luckily I canceled and got a full refund from my holiday rep.
I then arranged the same items through another company, over 200 euros cheaper and what turned out to be their partner company!
Disgusting behaviour from a company that is supposed to make our lives easier. Shame on you!

And like many others, I wish I could give it a minus rating along with them. I am 79. My son in America ordered me a rented portable mobility scooter for a week - at high cost. Unfortunately he hadn't read the TrustPilot reviews or he wouldn't have touched them with a barge pole. He told me I would be shown how it worked as I had not used one before. A large scooter was brought (by a different company - Mobility pays another Company to deliver). It was too large to go in the lift to my top floor flat and nowhere to store it in the building. He could see the dilemma and took the scooter away. My son asked for a refund as it was not what he'd ordered and the Company refused, saying it needed to be taken apart into 4 or 5 pieces! Neither the Company nor the driver had informed me of this process so of course I had no idea. Obviously my son is now pursuing the matter through American Express but would prefer not to have that hassle of course. Meanwhile my daughter has found a scooter from a delightful Company called Wheel Freedom, was shown exactly how it worked - and it has cost half the price!
Mobility Scooter Hire
Booked a Mobility Scooter for a week for our Holiday for which they took the money including an extra delivery charge due to the remote location and confirmed the booking. The day before the scooter was due to be delivered I receive an email saying that my order has been cancelled due to lack of availability even though they had accepted my booking. If they had let me know earlier it would not have been so bad or if they had recommended an alternative option it would be ok, but now it is to late to arrange hire with another company and my Dad's special holiday has now been ruined. Do not use this company.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed, we used this company for our first trip away since becoming disabled. The air mattress arrived very late and as a wheelchair user it needed to be there when we arrived after 6 hours journey not at 7pm at night. The shower chair/ commode didnt arrive until the following day but we had to be out very early so were unable to use it until following day and found not fit for purpose. Customer service was very poor and we would not recommend them.

I have just had to cancel my booking due to ill health and was charged £25 admin fee to cancel. I appreciate there is an admin fee and yes it said so in the cancellation policy, however when you ask a question about it you get told we are not a charity and have staff to pay.
Explaining my situation was ignored and when I said we wouldn’t be booking with them again I was told Good.
Do not use this disgusting company as you won’t be treated nicely and they don’t understand the meaning of customer service.
Nothing but money grabbers

I used the once in 2019 in America, price was OK, but no communication on day of scooter delivery, delivery person didn't turn up on time & looked scruffy, no identifiable clothing or message board, when contacting them they talk to you like it's your fault, but thought maybe they were having a bad day.
Cut to 2022... ordered a Standard (not portable) scooter made a mistake on the booking & got charged £40 delivery charge (which I didn't pay this 2 years earlier). Emailed them advising that I'd made a mistake, sent them copies of screenshot of how it should have been, through multiple emails was told the booking was correct and price was right. I was told I was getting the scooter I order, a 3 wheeler, stated a GoGo scooter on the communication from the 3rd party hirer in America, which isn't the "Standard" scooter. A Victory 10 is a "standard" scooter, basically they charge you a very igh amount for a scooter type you didn't request. Long story but in a nutshell, these are nothing but money makers only interested in themselves. Don't use them, keep a local company in business & order directly in the country you are visiting, it will be cheaper. These people need to be shut down, they are rude & don't give a damn about you, just their profits.
Let's see how long I have to wait to get my money back???
Dreadful experience
A dreadful experience. The scooter I hired & paid for simply never turned up & it took me three days of phone calls & emails to be told I'd been overlooked. The consequence for me was actually quite significant health-wise as well as meaning I kept having to drive places that I didn't want to.
I would never go near them again & their response was more or less just to say 'tough'.

Where do i begin the first time i hired a mobilty scooter i pay 280 pounds for the heavy duty scooter then a hour later i got a phone call to say they didn't have that 1 in however i havw lymphoedema and that was the only one i could use i then had to wait over a week for a refund i needed the scooter as i was trying to get to a funeral which i missed because of this i didn't get no apologies whatsoever forward on 7 months i runf up to try and get the scooter again and just as she asked for my banking details i said can you please make sure you have the one in stock that i require she put me on hold to go and check they then said they would give me a ring back as the (MECHANIC) was busy at the moment to which it has now been over 2 weeks and still no call back i belive they was going to take my money again only this time knowing for well tjey didnt jave the scooter in stock this company does not care about the elderly or disabled they overcharge tbey are liars and they are not to be trusted just look at all these bad reviews avoid at all cost avoid like covid 19

Ordered a mobility scooter on hire cost me 280 pounds they took the money then rung me back to say they dont have it in stock as the others are unsuitable I'm then told that they will refund me as it wasnt my fault but I have 2 wait 2 weeks completely unacceptable they should have checked stock before they took my money very upset and dissapointed as I was excited to go out again as I'm now disabled and I have been stuck in my dads property for almost a year
