MIHT55 (Invoice no: INV118502) was delivered broken. On contacting your office on Thursday 25 July I was informed by Sarah Cawley (who confirmed by email) that FedEx would collect the hedge trimmer the following day, Friday 26 July, and that I would receive a full refund by Monday 29 July at the latest. Having stayed in all day on Monday 29th, I was very disappointed that noone arrived to pick it up. On contacting your office again, I was informed that the broken MITOX 28LH would be picked up on Tuesday 30 July. As I write it has still not been picked up. And I am still waiting for a full refund.

Item ordered from the manufacturer delivered 500 miles away the next day. You can't get better then that.

Ordering through the website was clear and straightforward. Price very good indeed. Items arrived promptly and everything was as expected. What more can you ask.

Good response and service.Arrival of goods on time. Easy tools to set up except a little difficulty with the pruner where two pairs of hands were needed .Quality of the product looks good ,but have yet only tried the pruner to any extent.

At the moment have not received them so have given 3 stars
If they deliver as agreed then l will give five stars
I would still like to know why two new pieces of kit went wrong so quickly

As per phone conversation the chain saw is now not working at full rotation and the engine is under pressure to turn the chain
Fills like the hedge trimmer did not working at full rotation
I now have to bring it back to you to be checked again
I bought it on the Wednesday and used it, went to use it on the Friday, would start but when the trigger was engaged the engine cut out so l bought it back to you to adjust which you did. I have brought the service adjustment tool on eBay as again it would start but will not operate at full power
Now a week later the hedge trimmer bearing-has gone and today the chain saw is not working properly
I know it’s under warranty but the machine is two weeks old and been used five times for about 20minutes a time.
This machine is two weeks old, less then three hours work. I have to return it back to be looked at by yourselves which is a 1 and 1/2 hours round trip every time
I would like Mitox to replace the whole machine as the one I have is not fit for purpose

The unit I bought has proved invaluable and seems to be very strong very pleased with the purchase

Delivered on time, though unfortunately without the chain in the packaging, but two provided by return of post when Mitox contacted.
Only used the chainsaw lopper so far to attack a long length of severly overgrown field hedge. Great reach and very efficient.
Overall, a good machine at competitive price point and efficient service.

Being used to a Danarm, I was aprehensive about this machine.
First things first.
It's easy to assemble common sense can almost guide, and it needs to the instructions are like so many these days, printed 50 years ago, or they look faded enough to have been. My eyesight isn't great these days so it is an issue, please take notice.
Having assembled it I then fuelled it up, this is a heavy machine, it needs the harness which takes some sorting out, but once that's done you're ready to go.
I was amazed at how EASY it is to start, two pulls and she was off.
While i haven't used the brush cutter yet, I am confident it will be more than adequate, I used it on long grass and it was like a hot knofe through butter.
Unfortunately i was unable to giuve it a prolonged test because the strimmer cord is only just enough, really Mitox why so mean?
My impression is that this brush cutter will do me as long as I give it the required maintenance.
It os heavy but the harness, vital, will spread the load.
4 stars because of the meaness of cord.

Initially I have a few problems, but upon speaking to Chris from Mitox I had put the guard on wrong which made it harder to use and in turn I initially gave a very average review. Chris was very helpful and sent me a picture of how the strimmer head should look when assembled correctly, I quickly adjusted the guard and now things are much better with cutting. I use Stihl FS-460/410's on a daily basis for my work but wasn't willing to pay the price for one and seen the Mitox 550ux looked very similar to what I use at work so purchased it, the engine is very powerful and upon correcting the guard position cutting is as good as the stihl's I use, slightly heavier but not by much....extremely satisfied now.
