Easy to identify required parts and order.

I have had the Multi tool 28 for 4 weeks.
No problems with it.
I took it out of the box put the strimmer head on primed it 2nd pull on the rope and away it went. TOP JOB.
I have used all the attachments with no problem.
The trimmer on the extension is a bit over balanced and my muscles in my arm were stretched a bit but then again I am not as strong as I was.
Would recommend this tool to anyone.

I have a number of Mitox machines and I Will need to see if it suffers from a common problem where the fuel line gets constricted after time and the machine won’t run. This seems to be a recurrent problem. Relatively easily fixed but....

Nonetheless pleased so far.

I purchased a mitox 25C-SP strimmer in April 2016 to use on my allotment. Initially it worked fairly well,but could be temperamental to start.
Last summer whilst in use, the square drive shaft fell out as the retaining screws had sheared off.
I took it to the local mitox dealer and was quoted £30-£35 for it to be repaired. THREE MONTHS later it was finally returned having been fitted with a new drive assembly and head, and charged £91! Which was marginally more than the original cost.
Two days later I went to use the strimmer, it ran for approximately 15minutes, (but wouldn't run if the choke was more than half closed)
and then the head flew off shattering the strimmer guard and large shards of plastic narrowly missing my legs.
It was immediately returned to the dealer (Morris' in Rhuddlan) who were less than sympathetic and implied that I was at fault, though as I was strimming grass paths which is what the strimmer is meant to do, what exactly was I doing wrong?
They eventually agreed to look at it again, and it returned to me a few weeks later.As I had no need to use it over the winter it was drained of fuel and stored in our garage.
Last weekend, (April 6th) I took the strimmer to my allotment,filled it with fresh fuel and attempted to start it. 36 attempts later it finally spluttered into life and ran for 15minutes before the head once again flew off shattering the strimmer guard.
Fortunately on this occasion I was wearing my son's chainsaw trousers which meant that the shard of plastic was embedded in Kevlar rather than my leg.
This machine is dangerous,unfit for purpose and a waste of money.
Customer service from mitox is non existent, as they choose to ignore emails and phone calls.
Buy this piece of equipment at your peril.

Deliverd as expected although a plastic handle had broken in transit, it was replaced within 48hrs, no complaints!

This is my second Mitox chainsaw - i have a 4116 that's been great.Wanted a bigger bar to cut up a fallen oak. Haven't used it yet - but the quality of the head unit is a big step forward.

I bought a log splitter from Mitox. In one phone call I had a couple of queries answered, ordered and paid for the item. No call centre, no hanging on waiting to speak to anyone, all very easy and straightforward. Carriage was free and I was even asked if I had a preferred date for delivery. Since I didn't, the log splitter was sent out immediately and was delivered to me, in the north of Scotland, within twenty hours of ordering.

Very friendly helpful company to deal with and I am truly impressed with the service I received, I wouldn't hesitate to return. Can't recommend Mitox highly enough :)

Speedy delivery but the instructions could have been a bit clearer. The splitter is a bit heavy for working out the finer details of how to fit the stand as you go along.

When unsure of the correct parts required, online advise was first class and when ordered they it was delivered very quickly

Excellent piece of equipment which makes splitting logs a breeze, recommended.

I brought a Mitox wood splitter, I looked on website but then wanted some measurements of width and length with stand. I called and a guy called Chris answered he was very polite and knowledgeable about item.
I ordered and received confirmation via email of receipt, tracking number and day off arrival.
Chris sent me an email on day off delivery and the company sent an email re-delivery, after waiting in all day being told it’s on truck, item never arrived. Spoke to Chris at 8.30 in morning who chased the delivery and replied it would arrive at 11am guaranteed, finally arrived 2.30pm rude and grumpy driver complained it was too heavy item.

Log splitter is brilliant 5 stars given, as would definitely use Chris at Mitox again shame about rubbish delivery company, but as I’m reviewing log splitter.

Initial delivery of product was prompt. Communication from the manufacturer / distributor was good.
Be warned - after care is non existent from the manufacturer, even if a fault develops within 1 month of purchase, as it did with mine.
If you have service issues you will be asked to contact a local independent organisation with no formal agreements with Mitox about turnaround times for service. My local service centre suggested I bring the machine in and wait 'about 6 weeks for us to look at it'.
Overall not good enough.

Product arrived quickly and well packed. An initial quick try out makes me think the leaf blower / vacuum will work well in our large garden. Changing the parts to go from blowing to vacuuming is very straightforward. Would recommend product and company.
