Admittedly, at first my instructor’s schedule clashed with mine. However MiDrive were quick and effective in matching me with my current instructor who has made me feel very confident on the road ! Offering me as many or as few lessons a week as required with great knowledge and ability to make me feel like a client ! The app is efficient to track lessons and to see where you’ve driven as well as providing up to date tips which will benefit your test!
Definitely worth the ££!

Great place to get driving lessons! You are automatically assigned an instructor, and you can communicate via the app. In addition, you are able to track your lessons, see where you had been driving, new things that had been learnt.

Messaged 3 other companies before using Midrive with no response, but got a message the next day from a Midrove instructor within a day! Bulk-buy deals are great and app is so helpful and easy to use. Just had first lesson and instructor was great very calm and positive, perfect location choice and feedback!

I'm sure it works for some, but the whole process has been absolutely pointless for me and has made learning more stressful if anything. My instructor was matched with me because he lives up the road, I wasn't able to read any reviews or choose who to go with.

He's fine when I actually get a lesson booked in. But I'm constantly chasing him to ask when he has any slots, I rarely get a reply until days later when he'll message me late, meaning I've missed out on several potential lessons.

He never listens or notes down my availability,finally got back to me the other day and offered me a day which I'd told him three times I was away on (no lesson this week then). Would be a lot easier if I could get a list of his slots e.t.c

The USPs Midrive enticed me with have been non existent, I get no GPS data from my lessons or any lesson feedback. Despite informing them of this and being told my instructor was now on board this still hasn't happened and clearly won't.

I booked a block to start with but for the last few lessons have just booked as I went along, in the last week Mi Drive have bumped the price up £2 an hour without informing me, as if £26 wasn't dear enough. I've seen another driving school in Leeds where a block of 20 is almost £60 cheaper.

The premise sounds great, but now I wish I just chose the cheaper option.

Just as another stinger I was ill a few weeks ago so had to cancel a lesson as I wasn't fit to drive, lost my full £52 fee (fair enough), but you have to give 48 hours notice minimum, this despite my instructor often giving me about 12 when booking me in for a lesson after three days of chasing him.

Not much positive so far, the support team are quick to respond at least.

(With response to the reply - I'm still currently learning, you've apparently already followed it up with my instructor multiple times and nothing has changed so wouldn't bother. Regarding the price, that's understandable but you should at least have the courtesy of letting your customers know before they go to buy their next lessons.)

I was taking lessons with so many instructor last 14 years... so far I found red n midrive is the best... my instructor is Stephen...his best instructor I experience so far ... big thanks goes to midrive well done

Great service, a lot better than traditional driving lessons. Helps you keep track of bookings, how many miles you’ve driven, how many hours you’ve had and spent. Also very easy to top up with little messing about.

Booked five hours and was assigned an instructor. He was great but then told me he was going away and wouldn't be back until mid-august for a family emergency.

Now there are apparently no drivers in my postcode or my work postcode with availability and I have to wait 5-10 days for a refund. Ridiculous. Waste of time and money.

App is really nice as you can see all your driving history. Also makes it easy to purchase additional lessons.
I personally have lessons in the morning and the instructor is accommodating.
Also I tend to stall the car again and again and the instructor doesn't loose patience. That in my opinion is an amazing feet as it is very annoying.

I have never dealt with a company worse than Midrive, they don't care about the quality of service, they care only about money. there is no way to communicate with them only through the chatting. It was extremely poor service.
First, after I registered, I immediately told them that I wanted to train in the test area, and I would like to meet the instructor on front of the driving test center. So they charged me 6 pounds extra.
Second, the car was old ( Toyota Yaris 2007 )and and dirty, when the instructor asked me about my professional licence, I told him that I have only a copy, because no one told me to bring the original, then he talked with the company by phone, I asked him to give me the phone number to talk with the company, unfortunately he refused. He told me that I have to email them. I stood near the car to contact the company. Suddenly he turned his phone off and left. I tried several times to call him, but there was no chance. After 15 minutes he answered me and talked with me in impolite way.
I told the company about what happened, and they said" we can rematched you with new instructure, but we have to charge you £45". Then they charged me. I was really shocked ! I trust this is not the way That Midrive wishes to conduct business with customer.

I’m really happy I chose Midrive. I’m taking lessons on an automatic gear car and I think that the price I paid for my session is fairly good. Plus you can get some discount if you refer someone. Also my driving instructor, Sham, has a lot of patience with me and he is teaching me everything that I need to know step by step.
