Michael Kors Scam

Subject: Complaint Regarding Michael Kors Outlet at 915 Ridgewalk Pkwy Suite 808 Woodstock, GA

Dear Better Business Bureau,

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent shopping experience at the Michael Kors outlet located at 915 Ridgewalk Pkwy Suite 808, Woodstock, GA.

On 25th January 2025, I purchased a coat as a gift for my mother. Unfortunately, the size I bought was too big for her. The sales associate at the store influenced me to purchase the coat despite it being the wrong size by offering a 10% discount, making the item final sale. Instead of assisting me in finding the correct size—either online or from another store—the associate prioritized pushing the sale.

The following day 26th January 2025, I discovered the correct size was available on Michael Kors’ official website. I returned to the store, hoping they would help me exchange the item or assist with ordering the correct size online. However, the store staff refused to help or facilitate an exchange, citing the final sale policy. This lack of customer service and refusal to accommodate reasonable requests has left me feeling misled and scammed by the store’s practices.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that Michael Kors allows me to exchange the coat for the correct size or return the item. As a loyal customer, I expected better support and service from a reputable brand like Michael Kors.

I was very upset and angry customer however after talking to the manager Katie, provided me a good resolution in quick time, Katie has listen to my issues patiently and showed her great understanding towards me being a valuable customer.

Terrible experience

This week I went to the Sawgrass outlet in Miami and had a terrible experience at the store. A person who works there who I later found out was a manager, named Angie, was extremely rude to me. I also work in retail and have never seen anything like this! We all have bad days but I don't think we should take it out on customers.

Disappointed with Customer Service and Repair Options

I recently purchased a jacket from MK and was initially impressed with the quality and design. Unfortunately, after less than a month of wear, the back of the jacket melted when I was near a gas heater. I reached out to the brand to request a patch of material to repair it, even offering to pay for it, but my request was declined.

Considering MK markets itself as a higher-end brand, I expected better aftercare and support. Most luxury or premium brands offer repair services or at least solutions for maintaining their products, so this response was disappointing.

I trusted MK to deliver not just a quality product but also a service experience that reflects the price point and reputation. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of those expectations. I’d advise future customers to consider this if they value robust after-sales support.

The worstttttttt customer service on earth online and in store !!!!

I’ve been a loyal Michael Kors customer for years, reaching Red Carpet status because of how much I’ve ordered—but after my recent experiences, I’m done.

Their customer service is beyond horrible. Emails? Never answered. Agents? Unhelpful, indifferent, and act like they’re forced to be there. It genuinely feels like they’re chilling at home rather than assisting customers.

It gets worse in-store. Managers are rude, dismissive, and completely lack empathy. They treat customers as if they’re doing us a favor instead of valuing our business.

For a brand that prides itself on luxury, the service is anything but. I used to shop Michael Kors like crazy, but now? Never again. If you care about good customer service, stay far away.

Worst customer service!!

Worst customer service!!! Ordered on 23th Dec, still waiting for order (its 6th Jan). It was supposed to be arriving on 30th Dec. Tracking says on the way!! However the order is not with DPD and they have not yet received the order.

No proper customer support, you will wait hours for the phone call to connect and the online chat system is awful. Dont commit if you cant deliver and cheat with people’s emotion, money and time.

@Michaelkors I need my money back. Will never ever order from MK.

Excellent experience

One of the easiest & fastest online shopping experience . Ordered the item 30.1.24 and reveived it via DHL courier 4.1.25 . I was informed on daily basis about the shipping. I reveived the item four days earlier than estimated.
Truly pleased.

Appalling

If I could give-5 i would!! Absolutely appalling service from this company. Placed an order 22nd December was supposed to be here 30th December, no update to tracking since 23rd December, contacted dpd they don't even have the products, contacted mochael kors via their whats app, asked to give until uth jan, checked tracking again tonight still no update. Contacted michael kors again they want me to allow another 5 business days, waited an hour for them to reply they replied about 6 messages within 4 minutes and ended the chat without awaiting a response from me
AVOID!!

Customer service need taught a hell of a lot about customer service, Absolutely shocking service

Buyer beware

I am so frustrated with a small Messenger bag that my husband bought me for Christmas. He bought it in October, and we are out of the return window. The purse has issues with the zipper, getting caught and working its way all the way down inside the purse where it makes it almost impossible to close the purse. I sent Michael Kors customer service an email and they told me I was out of luck. They offered to fix it for me on my dime. I will never purchase from them again !

Don’t shop with these people

Dreadful. Ordered and paid for a dress. Took money from my credit card. Then 5 days later said ordered could not be filled. Absolute theft - should not advertise goods accept money etc - clearly lying. Will never use them again and will tell as many people as possible about my negative experience

Disappointed Customer

I purchased a MK purse from the outlet store May 02, 2024, unfortunately in September 2024 I noticed all four corners had faded as if one of the finished coat was left out, I contacted MK sent pictures, the inside tag # and copy of my receipt. They never emailed me back so I contacted them and was told that it was wear & tear. I explained I just purchased it 4 month ago and was definitely disappointed, wasn’t expecting that type of response and definitely will not purchase another MK brand of anything.

Awful customer service. Ordered bag to arrive in time for Christmas and it hasn't arrived and today it’s NYE. They refuse to refund and keep giving the run around. Don’t bother ordering from them. If an item hasn’t arrived, it’s not for the customer to chase it up! Silly company

Awful customer service

Tried to return a handbag bought as a present for Christmas. This was the outlet store in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin. Was given the run around. Manager said the logo strap was damaged (it was purchased 48 hours before and never used) and they could not take it back. We will never shop there again. Quality is not there either.

Awful Experience

I made an order on the 18th December, and payed £8 to be delivered on the 20th December. However, I haven’t received anything (not even the confirmation email) even though I payed for the shoes and add-ons.

Absolute dire online service

Ordered a MK bag for £283, paid speedy boarding, arrived and the M was wonky. Looked like it had come from Turkey. Was offered 20% off, asked for 30%, not company policy. Said would sleep on it which I did, decided bag had to be perfect!

Ordered anor one next day and paid speedy delivery as was coming on holiday on the 22nd Dec. Said would arrive on 20Dec. Got an email next morn to say delivery 23Dec!!! MK did not want to know or do anything to speed up delivery or pay the speedy charge back. DHL on the other hand couldnt do enough.

You are an absolute disgrace of a company, £550 paid out and the bag turned up today whilst I am currently in Barbados. Dont offer speedy delivery if you cant deliver!!!
