ABSOLUTE CROOKS


Metrophone turned me down a phone
contract. No big deal; but BEFORE
they undertook a credit check they
took the upfront payment for the device
that I have been fighting to get back from
them since March 24th. My bank told me
the money should be back in my account on March 31st. It is March 31st and guess what. No refund.

I now have a solicitor involved and will be
contacting MP shortly.

Why this company takes money first and
then performs a credit check is clearly to
keep customer’s money from them to get
interest into their coffers. Well I’ll be taking
action. These crooked companies have had
their day. The worm has turned!

Simple & Easy To Switch Provider.

Metrofone made it so easy for me to switch from EE to Vodafone and at an amazingly good price too !
The process couldn’t have been easier.
My new phone was delivered some 12 hours from time of order and the switch-over was undertaken a couple of days later on the Monday morning.

Really disappointed

The phone arrived with finger prints on it, including on both lens and a blob of something like food on it. Did not get that new phone experience at all, really disappointed.

I cancelled the phone order within 48…

I cancelled the phone order within 48 hours of ordering and cancelled with Vodafone and yet DPD still continue to keep attempting delivery. I have explained to them the item needs to be returned to sender and they agree and then change the delivery date to the next day. Please can someone contact me about this order?

Having reviewed your account, we haven’t received any prior communication requesting cancellation of the order. When the device was returned to us, it was automatically reshipped. This happens when a delivery has been missed three times and the parcel is sent back to us by the courier, at which point our returns team process it for redelivery.

If you would now prefer to cancel the order, we would be more than happy to arrange this for you. We can request a return to sender with the courier and ensure the contract is disconnected with the network.

Please note that billing begins from the date the handset is dispatched, so line rental charges may apply while the return is being processed. Any line rental costs incurred during this period will be refunded by the network on your next billing cycle, minus any chargeable usage. This can take up to 4 weeks to reflect.

We’ve also attempted to contact you directly to discuss this further. Please feel free to reply to us or call 0333 900 1144 (option 2), and we’ll be happy to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.
