I was disappointed
I was impressed on line with the reviews but on assembly I found that it was very flimsy and not that well made also the roof was not tounged and grooved like the rest of the shed and no roof felt so consequently the first time it rained although not much lately it rained in.

Really happy with our summerhouse and side shed! Quality exceeded our expectations, no warping and it all went together really well. Delivery was great, communicative, on time and driver was really helpful and friendly.

The shed I bought was in a right state…
The shed I bought was in a right state when I tried putting it together. When speaking with the company they were really cruel to me even after when I told them about my mental health. They women I spoke took wasn’t reading what I wrote, asking for pictures I had already sent and winding me on purpose. I complained too. I still haven’t heard anything back from their 24 get back service and it’s been four days now. I’m really not happy and disgusted on how I was treated. I haven’t never been treated like this in my life and will definitely spread the word on how unprofessional the company was with the two weeks of messaging with them! My mental health is worse with the experience I had with them through the already tough time I’m going through in my life!
Edit: the panels didn’t align the roof been is bowed making it impossible to fit the roof and the flooring was in such bad shape my foot kept going through the floor. They refused to help in anyway.
Do no buy from this company unless you want to waste hundreds of pounds.

Having reviewed the information available to us, we have identified that the transportation blocks supplied with the building had been left in position. These blocks are intended for transportation purposes only and should be removed before assembly. Leaving them in place can affect the level and positioning of the building, which can then cause the panels, framing and roof components to sit incorrectly and lead to the alignment issues you have described.

Geat company giving good old fashioned customer service.
Bought via Wilko but the communications from them were far from great. Mercia were helpful and I even got to speak to them on the phone. Emailed a couple of days prior to delivery to confirm and then a time slot on the day. Great service

The building itself is excellent…but the instructions aren’t great.
The building itself is excellent quality, really well made and solid.
The instructions however seem to forget that it is a ‘corner building’ which means you are likely to be building it quite close to walls or fences.
Make sure to read all the way through to the end at each stage as some instructions such as fixing the two main wall sealing strips, were impossible as you couldn’t get to them.

Very happy with the garden room
Very happy with the garden room, everything was there and customer service were good when I thought I had an issue - all was fine. The instructions on a qr code were so small on your phone in the garden it was annoying! Also nothing was labelled so you had to measure each item in including screws to make sure you had the right ones - so time consuming and frustrating! Delivery driver was super helpful - the disclaimer on the site lacks accountability for getting this delivery to you on the date requested, but in the end, it did turn up exactly as planned.

Excellent garden bar

I’m extremely disappointed with both…
I’m extremely disappointed with both the quality of the shed and the aftersales service from Robert Dyas.
I paid around £1,300 for a Mercia shed and, for that sort of money, I expected a considerably better quality product. The timber and front sections were poorly aligned, there were knot holes through some of the panels, the plastic glazing was distorted and cheap looking, and the floor felt far too flimsy for a shed at this price point. The assembly instructions also left a lot to be desired.
I ended up having to carry out additional work myself, including remedial work and painting, simply to get the shed looking somewhere near the standard I expected when I bought it.
What made the experience even more frustrating was trying to complain afterwards. The email address I originally used for the purchase was an incoming-only address, so I physically could not send an email from it. Robert Dyas would not properly deal with my complaint because I could not contact them from the exact email address registered on the order.
Despite being able to provide the order details and explain the situation, I was left in the ridiculous position of being unable to pursue my complaint simply because of the email address used when purchasing.
For a purchase of around £1,300, I expected much better from both Mercia and Robert Dyas. The product itself was disappointing, but the lack of a sensible way to resolve the problem afterwards made the whole experience considerably worse.
Based on my experience, I would be very reluctant to buy another shed through Robert Dyas.

Mercia Wooden Greenhouse
The greenhouse is so well put together. The window has an arm to close it, there are 2 bolts top and bottom of the door.
I love, love, love it!
My neighbour has built me a couple of shelves for me to pot up plants, do seeds etc as I’m disabled.
