After letting me down on Monday at 8Am of the day of delivery they rescheduled for Saturday.
I rang up on the Friday to check was going to be delivered Saturday and they said, yes it’s the first drop in th morning.
I waited all day on th hottest day of the year for this delivery and it never showed up!
2 days I have now waited and nothing.
Absolute shambles of a company, Iam starting to think that this is a SCAM company.
Delivery driver Neil. Ordered two sheds, he positioned them seperatley in a place that worked for us. Friendly and helpful. Thank you 😊

We ordered a shed and the delivery process was very clear. We were able to pick a specific day for delivery and at the start of the delivery day we were given a two hour slot. While it arrived a little later than originally estimated we could track the delivery online which was very useful as we were having it delivered to our allotment. The driver, Clifford, was fantastic and even offered to drive it on site for us which I didn't expect. Very happy!

I have built many sheds over the years of vaious sizes and types. I am a fencing contractor as well as many other skills within engineering, buildinga nd construction, so i would call myself a dab hand.
I had a local customer to me who i knew, asked me about erecting a new 8x6 shed when she goes to buy one. asked me for recommendations. My reply was anywhere except Argos and B&Q as they are complete and utter cheap rubbish. i gave her a short list of other sellers of good sheds that i had built and also told about.
she ended up buying the shed from B&Q. when she told me, i asked why? and her reply was, it is only for garden storage so i didnt want to pay over the odds for one.
When i first inspected it, the coliur green was an unusual colour. looked like someone had been going over it with a green marker pen.
first job was to lay the floor down and screw together. the OSB board used was extremely thin, maybe 9mm. you could feel the board bending under your feet as you walked over it. I explained to the customer and suggested to buy more OSB from selco to strengthn it as it will definately break when walked on. I went to my local selco branch and purchased 2 x sheets of 18mm OSB board. that was £50 added to the bill. As the shed is expected to last 25 years plus, it would have been a bad decision not to purchase the board as it forms the base of the shed and to replace that, means the whole shed has to be dissmantled to renew the floor. get it right first time.
joining the two floor sections was also plagued with issues. The two sections did not mate squaely as one of the bearers under one section was nailed incorrectly so i had to reposition the bearer to make the two edges fit squarely.
First end panel went up and secured without issue. i added the first side panel which was about 10mm longer than what it needed to be. i added the second side panle and that was also about 10mm longer than it should have been.
to make shure it wasnt me, i alligned the other two side panels which were pretty much the correct length. going back to the first two side panels, i ended up trimming both panels down to make fit.
As i got further into the build, i noticed several cracked featheredge boards, one door trim/bead was as a bent a banana. couldnt use it.
The instructions were awful to follow. print was very small, too small actually.
Overall, the quality of the shed was 4/10. i didn like the shed at all. One of the worst ones i have erected. If money is not an issue, then i would recommend going to a proper timber merchant directly who who speciaises in building sheds. there are plenty out there, you just have to look.
I believe B&Q refunded my customer as they agreed from the photos she showed them, it was definately a refund job. When they asked if it could be returned she said NO, as she would hav eto pay me for doing so plus pay me a aain to build a second shed. she is fairly happy with the outcome and quids in.

The delivery driver, Nick was very kind and helpful. Arrival was at the time he said and he gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way.
Very professional and nothing was too much trouble for him.
Even in the terrible weather he helped to unload and out in my back garden

Best quality potting shed we have ever bought, love the opening roof panel and fold up middle shelf. Perfect for a small garden. Great value from Robert Dyas compared to Wayfair and others, for the same product.
Delivery was also great - arrived within a week of ordering. I got up early to find a message on my phone to say it had already been delivered, with photo proof, and there it was neatly stacked by the garage. Thanks to the driver for being so quiet at 05:30!

I asked them installer if the summerhouse was treated, he told me it was treated and he only does his once a year. Naturally I followed their advice. Ironically I had already brought the waterproofing but because of their advice decided I had some time. The installers did not leave the manual for me to read. I now have some door shrinkage and the company have not been very helpful so far. I love my summerhouse but have an unusable building as more water can get into the summerhouse. I suppose my review is about the helpfulness of the initial mercia installer and the unhelpfulness of the customer service representstives. I never leave trustpilot reviews but feel it is only right on this occasion to help further purchasers.

Beware! We bought a summerhouse 6 years ago and the doors have rotted due to bad workmanship and we've discovered they won't honour our 10 year guarantee as we painted the walls inside and its near a neighbours property and that has caused the doors to rot? Despite the fact the entire building is bone dry and its only the doors that are rotten they won't honour it!..So..keep all your receipts for any paint or sealant or screws or anything you do to your shed as when you ask about the warranty they do everything to get out of it ..I mean seriously..my doors rotted on the opposite side of the building to my neighbours fence ..and painting insulated wooden walls in an insulated shed caused two doors to rot..poor workmanship..

Really poor service from start to finish. We had no communication on the delivery day enabling us to track the delivery. The shed arrived damaged. Replacement offered but only after we have to keep the broken shed for 3 weeks until they will collect it and deliver a new one.

Absolutely awful service. I literally cannot believe how this company is in business and connected to a big name company like Robert Dyas. I was asked to send photos of my shed base, I sent images showing it was level, but told it didn’t meet their standards and some vague comment about it not being level or it could be because the base was not solid enough.
I thought i was speaking to a bot because when I asked for minimum tolerances or if the issue was due to the base not being solid, I was sent the same vague message again. I was then reassured I was not speaking to a bot, but no clarity was given.
I then tried to call the install team and gave up after 50 mins on hold. Spoke to Fiona in the CS team and was constantly told the signal was bad, even though I could hear her perfectly fine. Eventually, after the phone ‘disconnecting’ a bunch of times I gave up. Avoid.

Bad wood quality. The wood that was sent was badly cut. Once up gaps all around. Very flimsy everywhere. Complained and company said the gaps and poor quality of the cut wood that they sent was because of the kind of wood preserver I used !! Please don't use this company

Last minute cancellation
I’m not one to write reviews. However I ordered my shed in April for a May delivery.
Only to receive a text at 5:04pm the day before telling me the delivery has been cancelled and has been rescheduled for 8 days away. I tried to call but they had closed their phone lines at 5:00pm
I booked time off work so I could take my old shed apart and lay a proper base for the new shed.
I now have hundreds if not thousands of pounds worth of kit in the lawn ready to be rained on.
I think it’s appalling they couldn’t see ahead and give me more notice.
I know nothing about the quality of their products so it could be a decent shed. However the customer service and organisation is shockingly bad. I would avoid at all costs.

We’re absolutely delighted with this greenhouse combo shed—it’s a fantastic addition to our garden. The quality and overall design are excellent, and it looks great even without ordering the glass option. Assembly was straightforward thanks to the clear, well-written instructions; any small hiccups along the way were down to us rather than the product, and easily sorted with a bit of thought.
By using the excess roofing felt to cover the joint where the greenhouse connects to the shed, we were able to create a neat, waterproof finish. If we had one minor regret, it’s that we didn’t choose a slightly larger size, as the shed section feels a bit compact—but that’s more about our needs than the product itself.
Overall, we’re really pleased and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a practical and attractive greenhouse-shed combination.
