I want to give them less stars but thought it may not be appropriate for this issue I am facing today. Been on hold and on chat and on the phone for 1 hour and 20 mins. I had a simple question. Is my brother covered for day surgery. My brother is extremely disabled and non verbal so myself and our other brothers help with the admin for him. Right now they tell me I have to provide all his enduring guardian papers yet again. Already provided them twice! They look like they have lost them. I refuse to look for them yet again and send them. I also wanted to add on my other brother as an authority. They tell me no. I can't as the authority add another authority. OK Medibank, how is this going to happen then when our disabled brother is brain damaged. Huh??? This is infuriating. It is discrimination to be honest. They care less about disabled persons and don't support them. We as guardians always have to jump through hoops to help him. We already have enough stress and problems with supporting him through his illness. He has intellectual disability, schizophrenic and now has Parkinsons ! :( This bloody beauracracy is insane. When you Medibank are meant to be supporting but no, you have terrible file handling and don't have a way for us to support our brother with ease. Of all the people that need support, it is him. You've let him down and us! Terribly upest. I am still on hold again ... The first 2 people can't help us! So we are being transferred apparently to an expedited service! It is not expedited. Now on hold another 10 mins whilst I type this review. And to put salt on our wounds my brother is currently in hospital in a crises and this is the last thing I need to be doing.

Well my surgery didntcostme anything the hospital was fantastic only cost me 750 4 myexcess.
Service was fantastic staff we very polite and nice the room on 11th floor was great food was great what I had.

I was very happy with the staff at the Ipswich private hospital and the treatment I received, I am just not happy with having to pay $500 excess when the monthly payments are over $580. Eventually when I’m not working I won’t be able to afford such high monthly fees.
