Seamless and simple

Seamless and simple. Provided the requisite credentials and the service provider did the rest. I had nothing to do. When getting surgery that is a pleasant experience. Would i like more coverage, off course. But I believe Vale for money.

Great Seervice

Just the gap....

All good except for large gap between the surgeon's fee ($5625) and the benefit ($1757.54).

My doctor told me to urgently get two…

My doctor told me to urgently get two procedures to check for cancer. The reception was able to cover the entire cost and I’m sincerely grateful, because I’ve been struggling with making ends meet. You’ve let my family have the security and peace of mind that I hope everyone can have. Thank you.

Accomation and travel

I live 422km from hollwood hospital total travelled 822 km and your health fund , wll pay a maximum of 200 km. .

It does not pay for country people to be in your health( medi bank private)

Private Health Cover is not worth it

The amount that I pay for private health insurance versus what I actually use and get back is disappointing. I feel like I will be better off paying for items in full and I would be miles ahead financially. And now it’s gone up again.

Worse health insurance cover

Worse health insurance cover, Poor customer service online and you get charges for things you did not sign up. I told the staff via phone call to send me the new charge effect as per why I have to pay almost $426 per month, and he replied he can’t sent it to me.

Inaccurate information

I took leave to go to Medibank in Lakeside mall and was informed the procedure was covered by Medibank, I went ahead with surgery. When I submitted my claim, only $100 was refunded. This is a Medibank mistake and I feel they should review the claim and train staff to provide accurate information. I have been with Medibank for 16+ years and never been so disappointed. That was a costly error and I am left having to wear it. I am not impressed at all.
